Two tests and 32 hours away from Pittsburgh. I'm also reverting to my thirteen year old self and watching NIN videos while squeeing over how "oh em gee super hot" trent reznor is. Just thought I'd share.
Of course I will!! I'll have pics GALORE....I hope an 8GB memory card will be enough lol

In my AP english class we are advised to use punctuation marks other than !,?, and .
So, as practice, I've begun to use them and my writing-- in from everything from facebook to random writings in my notebook. Sooo if I'm using them incorrectly (the dash, colon/semicolon, the hyphen, etc.) let me know; I need all the teaching i can receive.
And... after losing my first actual tennis match on Wednesday, I won today! My doubles match got rescheduled because our lights decided that they didn't want to turn on today so when it got dark the tennis balls became invisible . My next match is on Monday. I'll let you know how it goes =]

I agree; but sometimes I feel confused about when to use them -- OH well, that's life! . . .
By the way, check out Dickens in the Christmas Books sometime - - He's the Master of Using Colons Correctly - - - I had never known that you can have several in one sentence. Throw a semicolon or two and some commas into the same sentence, and you're really rockin' and rollin... :D

...
one's a period, two's a mistake, three's an elipses lol
I love those things too. When I'm writing i always use hyphens and elipses-- which reminds be that instead of coming up with three parts to my three part thesis, my last one was ...
I know that my teacher mentioned buying Emily Dickenson's book of poetry because she never uses periods or any other time of punctuation mark other than the dash and gets away with it.
I agree; but sometimes I feel confused about when to use them -- OH well, that's life! . . . Will check it out as soon as I can; I'm incredibly broke at the moment.
I know that you can use the semicolon to connect two ideas that are related to each other, like i just did, or when you are explaining something (you can use the colon for that too) or when their is a list that also contains commas you can use a semicolon as well: "Scottie, the crazy one; Maddie, the pretty one; Ashley, the one the pretty girls hang with to make themselves look better; and Jennie, the slut."
and with the dashes, you are supposed to use them to emphasize your interruption of thought. If you don't want to emphasize it then just use parenthesis or something...
That's all i remember from that day. I have a packet too that I can look at but who feels like doing that-- not me...

Well I'm indifferent really, since I'm grown and out of her house. But he does seem like a great man, especially when compared to her past choices. I'm more excited for my brother who is only 7, he doesn't know his father, so my Mom's new man will be a nice father figure for him :)

There was recently a case in the news where a teacher was writing "Stupid!" on a seven-year-old girl's papers. I think he might have argued that he meant, "THAT'S stupid," rather than "YOU'RE stupid." But that's the way she took it. Her mother, of course, was none too pleased. I'm not sure what ended up happening but I have a sneaky feeling that the Administration ended up being VERY willing to be helpful towards the teacher. For example, in getting a copy of Resume Expert for him to use, finding boxes to use when he cleans out his desk, scheduling exit interviews... ;)
By the way, I once had a substitute teacher when I was ten or so who said something to me like "just go sit down, you snot-nosed kid!" (I hadn't been "misbehaving" or anything, either.) Nobody made a federal case of it but just the same, pretty much all of the parents were certainly "made aware of " it.

Well, first of all the has an E on the end of it.
Secondly, affect means you were personally affected by something.
Thirdly, effect means someting done was effective.
Examples:
I was so thrilled about Grandma's health being good. Her situation really affects on me because I'm usually the one who has to take care of her.
I was so thrilled about Grandma's health being good. The Doctor care she has received has been very effective.

I've always explained it like: To affect something is to change it in some way. The effect is the result of that change.
People can also remember that affect is almost always used as a verb, whereas effect is almost always used as a noun.

I liked my way of teaching this lesson better only because I'm not good at verbs and adjectives et al. I only know that a noun is a person. place or thing. The rest of them I'll never remember even if my life depended on it.

JUST WANTED TO THANK YOU SOOO VERY MUCH FOR ANSWERING MY QUESTION!!!! And just wanted to remind you that we have actually chatted on myspace :) Like a year ago I asked you there if Fleetwood Mac would come to Sweden and you didn't know, but they did!
I really want Stevie to hear my music so if there's any chance you can show her, I'll appreciate more than soooooooooo much!!!!!
I'm your friend there :)
Love,
/Hanna, again :)
Hi Hanna. Sorry we never know where we’re touring until the last minute. I’m happy to answer your questions. I’m happy to chat on myspace or facebook now when I have time. I go to facebook more often latey. I’m due to add a lot to my journal page on www.myspace.com/janaandersonmusic, right?! My dear, we all want Stevie to hear our music. There are legal reasons she can’t listen to music sometimes. I don’t even bother her with my music, truth be told. I have never even asked her if she listened to my CD. It’s just not possible when she’s so busy. She has a lot on her plate and so I would appreciate if you stop asking because being that I love helping people, it just makes me feel bad to always have to tell you no over and over. Does that make sense? I’m not Stevie’s personal assistant and am not able to take care of business for her. I work for her and she is a good friend and boss and we have had some beautiful, personal moments at her house and at dinner. However, it’s not appropriate for me to be a ‘go to’ person for business. I say this with love. Now if I don’t go to her and ask her for help with my own career, you know I’m being sincere. God bless you and your dreams.

I think Jana is referring to that infamous incident of the person who sued Stevie and accused her of plagiarizing "Sara" because a tape of a "similar" song was sent to Stevie. I believe Mama now has a policy of sending back any tape unopened to avoid this kind of situation in the future.
Otherwise, I LOLed at Jana's very Christian way of saying "Quit sending your **** to me; I ain't Stevie's step 'n' fetch it!"

I have absolutely no doubt that Jana and everyone else working for Stevie in that way are under some pretty strict orders concerning this sort of thing. Either implied or more likely, i.m.o., overtly. They know people will try this sort of thing and they need to keep it down to a dull roar. I'm sure to a point they hate to be "dream busters" but of course, it's not Stevie's job to make the career of every single wannabe that would come their way. I think Jana and the rest probably understand all this implicitly - and who could blame them for not wanting to take ANY kind of chance of blowing such a great gig, when no one (including the wannabe, I bet) has any hope of anything good coming out of it?
Maybe this is a little "blunt" but, anyone hoping to break into the business this way has absolutely no chance of making it in the business, and "doesn't have what it takes."
i.m.o., Jana's response went above-and-beyond the call of duty.
She had already repeatedly told her "no."
P.S. - This reminds me of the initial auditions for American Idol, where they totally sing off-key and then start begging for a "second chance" because they're OH so sure they have SO much talent. i.m.o., anybody who had ANY chance at all of winning would say, "oh ok, sorry it didn't work out listen I HAVE to run, I have 3 interviews down the street lined up so hopefully things will work out there - gotta go, BYE!" If that person was sincere about wanting to "break into the business," etc., she'd get an agent and do a thousand auditions the way Jana did. Honest opinion, not only is she going about things all wrong, she's essentially "stalking" Jana. I think her response was more than kind; some people probably would be threatening to call the cops at that point.

Maybe Lars Ulrich lives next door and she's being overly cautious, lest he burst in wielding a flaming James Hetfield and confiscate all the tapes because they may or may not contain a chord that may or may not have appeared on "Until It Sleeps"?

a former high level, female executive with West Coast Choppers settled a sexual harassment lawsuit against Jesse James and West Coast Choppers for more than $700,000 in 2007, while he was married to Sandra Bullock ... according to documents.
The woman claimed between 2006 - 2007, Jesse James repeatedly made sexual advances, which allegedly included sexual acts.
The woman kept several suggestive emails from Jesse. In one email in 2007, which is included in the file, Jesse wrote to the woman, "Need anything before I split?" She responded, "Some Tums." Jesse replied, "I have some special fluid that you can drink and it makes it all better ...." http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-sick007.gif
And, she claims after an oral encounter with Jesse, she kept a telltale Clintonesque T-shirt.
The woman quit in 2007 and hired Gloria Allred's law firm to represent her. No lawsuit was ever filed, but on September 27, 2007, the matter settled for $725,000.
I can see why she choked her acceptance speech when mentioning the dickwheat.
IMO the whisper/cheek bit between them before she went up was...awkward.
IMO somewhere out in the back of her mind, based on her previous experiences with him, she had to know something was happening.

How old is he? 13? If a grown-ass man ever said something like that to me not in jest (perhaps even if he said it in jest), I would punch him in the neck, not engage in his extra-marital affair.
In other news, my son just announced to me, "MOM. A mole fell out of my mouth!"
"...wat."
"A mole. Look!"
And he holds out his hand, and lo, there is a molar on his palm. Oh. A MOLAR.
I was thinking small brown rodent with funny nose at first. Glad this turned out not to be the case.

Unless there's a clear pattern of context and other proof here, I for one would be cautious about over-interpreting this. It may very well have actually for real been an innocent remark. Be careful what you believe, folks, there's a LOT of predators out there looking to make an easy buck.
i.m.o. that's the real reason John Kinney set it up so you can't curse in Nicksfix chat. It's actually a fun non-word that a cartoonist named Berkely Breathed made up for his comic strip, Bloom County, which was very popular back in the 1980s.
He unfortunately retired - "took the money and ran" - so it's not as well-known as it used to be. Back in its prime, though, it was very entertaining and imaginative; and a lot of words he made up sort of "became part of the vernacular" for awhile.
Anyway it just simply meant "screwed up."
By the way he used to sign his name dehtaerB ylekreB. (Backwards.) Because that's what evil Satanists do.
He was being sarcastic, of course - it was a "poke" at alarmists who saw Evil and Armageddon everywhere they looked, at that point in time.

My best friend's dad was once sued because a transmission (or maybe the drive train or something) fell out of a car he had rented, damaging the blacktop in a parking lot. Not owned - rented. He also was sued during the same time frame because he drove a friend of ours to the hospital when the guy broke his elbow playing hockey. He wasn't even there when it happened. (He was formally the coach of our team, but this was just a bunch of us playing a pick-up game on a work day.) We called him up and he LEFT WORK to give him a ride to the hospital. He parents promptly sued him for hundreds of thousands of dollars. I had to sign a statement for the lawyers concerning what had happened - an "affidavit." The guy wasn't wearing elbow pads, by the way - something which we had encouraged him to do. (To wear them, I mean.)
They also sued the High School where we were playing. Yes, all three cases were laughed out of court, but it cost him thousands of dollars, and countless hours of time and untold aggravation. Believe me, there's predators out there who are just LOOKING for a chance to sue over any little opportunity that arises.

well because i cant sew, i use fabric glue (it holds the bond even with regular machine washing) ive done this a few times before with other shirts because i cant find hoodies with stuff im into on them. i just cut around the picture part of the tshirt then glue around the edges. if you can sew, just sew around the edges. if not, you need to get a washable fabric glue. like "sew-no-more" or "fabri-tac".
i have also made little throw pillows out of old tshirts, like one of my Tango tshirts.

JTIS that I mangled my finger, so you can now all call me Manglefinger!
See, the cool supervillain-sounding name makes me feel better about the fact that I mangled my finger AND looked like a complete idiot in the process. Watch:
My foster mom has a nephew that I hang out with quite a lot because he's awesome. He's also got this very protective, macho mindset which can be helpful when I am lazy because he will open jars & twist-top beer bottles, get stuff off of high shelves, and punch people in the neck if they smack into me during a concert or look at me funny in the Aldi's, but it can also be frustrating on account of I'm a grown-ass woman and I can do stuff, dammit.
Y'know, when I wanna. Except for the twist-top beer bottles. "Easy-open," my fat ass. I got scars from that ****. I tell people I got them in 'nam, but I totally didn't.
Anyway, he showed up today with a truckload of large sheets of plywood we need for a project and starts to unload. I figure I will be nice and help, so I bounce outside, "Allo! I'ma help."
"No, it's okay. I got it."
"I DO WHAT I WANT." (this is my stock response whenever someone tells me not to do something, fyi)
"I don't need help. They're heavy. You can't carry them."
"I RUN WITH 12 GANGS." (ibid.)
He rolls his eyes and huffs at me, and then just goes about his business. So I wait til he's got his back to me, and then I seize a piece of plywood and follow him up the driveway.
To get to where we need to put the wood, we have to squeeze between the van in the carport and the side of the house. There is not a lot of room, but enough to squeeze through if you are careful. He realizes I am behind him when he sets down his plywood, and turns around, glaring, "You can't carry that! Give me that! You're gonna hurt yourself!"
"Back off, sucka," scoffs me. "It's just plywood, I can freaking handle i-OWWWWWWW. WAHHHHHHHH. OWWWWWWWWWWW."
Yeah. Naturally, at that very moment, I misjudge the space available to me and wham my hand off the sharp metal corner of the air conditioner. BLOOD! SWEARING! PAIN! MANGLEFINGER!
Of course he immediately starts crowing and I can't defend myself against it, because he said I was gonna hurt myself, and lo, I did hurt myself, mangling not only my finger but the plight of feminism everywhere or whatever. :distress:
I was able to defend my choice of Band-Aid character, however, because you know who ELSE runs with 12 gangs?

My home network got hacked today! I didn't know I was that important... unless it's mum's theses on education the hackers were after. Anyway, mum's hard drive is now suddenly full (with what I don't know), although I got away with a mere interrupted network connection - mum uses WXP, but I use Ubuntu (at the moment - I change my OS regularly, the nerd I am), so I'm basically unscathed. Hopefully this is the final push she needs to get rid of Windows... I'm so sick of the problems that crop up with it, like the faulty CD drive and USB ports recognition (Linux LiveCDs recognise them just fine), let alone viruses.

I really wan't to get a new computer, but my parents don't agree! I just wan't to get a sledge hammer and break this brick of the 90's!
Seriously! I can't even play the Sims 3 anymore :distress:
Oh, Sims... I remember those days. Good times, good times.

Oh, feminism is all fine and dandy... until some heavy lifting needs to be done! [/misogyny]
Hope you are recovering nicely from your wound. Your wounded EGO, that is! :p
Well, feminism can always just get bent when I'm being lazy. My finger is still mangled quite nicely, so from now on, if he wants to cart stuff around for me, I'm just gonna let him do it. Like earlier today when we went out for lunch & I decided I needed to buy ottomans, and then graciously let him carry them.
Annie. You kill me. Seriously, I read that story about four times just to brighten my day. I hope your finger and pride both heal quickly :xoxo:
Haha, thank you. I have many Adventures with a Capital A. Remind me to tell you about the dancing kid that freaked out aforementioned Boy What Carries Things when we were in Monaca the other week.
Manglefinger, your story is cursed!! I read it and pulled a really horrified face at how bad it sounded by your typed reaction. Then my new Christine record arrived and I got so over excited about it that I sliced my thumb open on the cardboard mailer. Can I be your sidekick Slicethumb?
Slicethumb! I'm glad you're here! We have crime to perpetrate!
Here is Today's Agenda of Evil:
1.) Steal small child's tricycle for transportation purposes.
2.) Pedal furiously to my 11th grade English teacher's place of residence.
3.) Covertly lick all of the spoons in her house.
4.) ????
5.) PROFIT!
After that, we'll naturally have to head back to the Emergency Room.
And by "Emergency Room," I mean the actual Emergency Room and not, like, some secret code name for our Underground Lair of Supervillainy (cos that's already got a name - it's...the Underground Lair of Supervillainy. I know, right? So clever is me!), because I'm pretty sure that between steps 1 & 5, I will have managed to fall down some stairs, run into a wall, or (the most probable) get bitten by the little kid when we steal his trike, cos I'm about as graceful as a blind squid in a burlap sack (which is to say "not at all" - not sure if that analogy fits, but I've already committed to it so we'll pretend it made sense) and will most likely need medical attention.
See, I have it all planned out, down to the smallest detail. It's foolproof! Bwahahaha!

Is it possible there's "add-ons" you could buy that would make it possible to play the games you want to and so on? Without having to buy a new computer?
(I have in mind like, stuff you could plug into a "Bus Port" - extra memory, things along those lines.)
Problem is, we have had upgrades and add-ons, but now its getting so old Ghz is becoming a problem.
There not 'technological' so they don't understand!

Well, ever since I got back from Disney..my girlfriends mother has been talkin **** about me. Saying how I'm annoying, inconsiderate, needy, clingy, and fat(pretty much). So I defriended her on facebook and my staus one day was "Hmmmm apparently I'm annoying, clingy, needy, inconsiderate, and my jeans are too tight...Whats the world coming to?" and one my friends said "**** that bitch" and I guess Ashley's mom made Ashley's sister log into her facebook to creep on my facebook and saw that and BLEW UP and now Ashley and I cant see eachother til her mother cools down which could be DAYS or WEEKS. When her parents go to Aruba during April vaca Sarah and Ashley are staying at their grandparents house and not allowed to see me =\ My birthday is in 8 days! I better be allowed to see her on my birthday!!!

Yikes. That's pretty rough. I am sorry. It's always odd when parents behave like teenagers like that.
I will offer one small bit of advice, even though I know you didn't ask for it - after this blows over, in future, avoid doing the out-loud passive-aggressive thing on the Internet (or in person, for that matter). It always, always backfires. Be the bigger person. You'll feel better about things when you are, even when those things are ****ty, you know?

I hope it didn't come off snarky to you, because I truly didn't mean it to be. I completely understand the temptation to say stuff like that, and I've done it myself before many a time, lol - which is how I know that it never ends well.
There are people in the world that just talk **** for no good reason - this woman might be one of them. I'm dealing with a bunch of them right now myself, and I've found that just not reacting at all is the way to go.

So she came to my house well she went to "get gas" lol and gave me tylenol and she also made me iced tea and gave me pita chips(for my hummus) and a granola bar. Cuz I had a tummy ache. She stayed at my house for 40 minutes. And it was amazing and made me feel SO much better. Now we are trying to find a loop hole in her moms rules lol Cuz she said that I couldnt go over her house and that ashley couldnt come to my house. Immediately went out to find my PS3 so I can finally play God of War 3. OMG. I am a total GoW whore and I have been waiting. so. long. for 3 to come out. And then it did, on the 16th, but I was broke, so I had to wait for the refund. And then every time I went or looked anywhere, there was Kratos staring at me from the Slurpee machine at the 7-11 (which, btw, try the Kratos' Fury Slurpee - it is delicious) or from a commercial on the TV or on walls of adverts at the GameStop.
First two stores I went to had the game but no consoles. Third store had consoles but no game. WTF.
But now all is well, because I grabbed the console and then went BACK to the other store to get the game, and now I am all set, and it's sitting there looking so shiny and I need the children to get out, because I need me some alone time with Kratos on the 50" 1080p plasma with the Bose sound system.
And by "alone time," I mean exactly what you think I mean.

I'm going to LA in two weeks and got an email today that my request for tickets for Jay Leno came through. I'm not a big Leno fan, but when in LA....
I'm wondering if anyone here has ever been to a taping of Leno? I can't wait to find out who the guests are. I went to a taping of The View and Jon Stewart years back and it was a lot of fun to be in a live audience. But for some reason this seems so much grander to me!
Also, I haven't been out to LA in 20 years, so if anyone knows of any places that are a must see, and aren't locales where I could get arrested for stalking and trespassing (like some band members homes...hehe), let me know!

That being said, when I came into college I had never been kissed, never done drugs, and had only been drunk once. Now I'm a party animal... I go out all the time. I've kinda gone crazy... Some people tell me it's normal behavior for a college freshman and some say I'm out of control. Bottom line- I don't know how to feel about my life right now. Jtis.

Aww, honey. :xoxo: It is "normal," but it's only normal for you if you feel good about it.
College is about a lot of things, and broadening your horizons in every sense is definitely one of them. Make sure that you're taking care of the most important stuff first, though. Your work, the connections you're making with your professors, and the real friendships that you have when you're sober define you so much more than how drunk you get/ what drugs you'll do/ how many men or women you hook up with.
Summary: You're awesome. Live in a way that keeps you feeling so, whether that means going crazy at a frat or not.

It's easy to 'go crazy' when you get somewhere where no one knows you and has no pre-conceived ideas of 'what you are'. Still, these people you are around are essentially strangers and it may not be the best idea to be partying so much that you are unaware of your surroundings. Some people may try to take advantage of that. Just concerned for you!!! :)

Thank you  I feel fine about my behavior for the most part, I don't like how flirty I can get when I'm a bit tipsy, but other than that I feel like I'm not hurting anyone and I'm having a great time doing it. There are so people who judge me though, and when I see that they're disapproving of my behavior it makes me second guess myself.

Is it still under warranty? Or are you going to crack it open and try to fix it yourself? I hear a lot of Red Rings are caused by heat damage - you might be able to save it, depending on what got fried and how, if that's the cause.

I went to a casino for the first time ever tonight.
I won like 25 bucks, and then squandered it foolishly. I blame the bright flashing lights and the fact that they let me smoke in there with the air conditioning, which means I didn't want to move.
Also, they carded me, which is fine, but the woman carding me says, "How old are you, honey?" while squinting at my ID, and I says, "28?" and she says, "YES YOU ARE! GOOD FOR YOU!" like she was talking to a kindergartener, which made me go O.o like a Japanese emoticon.

I just thought I'd share that I bought LB's Gift Of Screws today, and am listening to "Great Day" as of this moment. I'd also like to share my deep regret that I didn't purchase this album earlier. :distress: Me and my unfounded thoughts that LB wouldn't be able to keep producing awesome music for such a long time... although the snippets of Say You Will and Under The Skin I've heard thus far were what gave me the false impression that LB was losing his ability.
I'm up to "Time Precious Time" now... how did I ever doubt you Lindsey?
EDIT: Okay, I've finished listening to the album, and it turned out the first two tracks were also my favourites, along with "Gift Of Screws". Not to say that I didn't like his other songs, but I found them a little too close to sounding like modern day music for my undivided adoration... anyway, needless to say, I have no regrets having bought the album! :D

Yeah, I'm glad too! I actually went into JB Hi-Fi thinking that my orders for Kiln House, Bare Trees and Penguin had come through (for whatever reason I assumed the number of the missed call I didn't recognise was that of JB Hi-Fi's...), but they hadn't, so I looked about for other things. Occasionally I check LB's section, which is usually pretty bare, but Gift Of Screws just so happened to have been ordered in and put there! I snatched it immediately, and returned a compilation of The Velvet Underground to the shelf (it's all money...). Btw, I also bought Led Zeppelin IV for $10... that's not a bad album either! :D
And, just so you know, I'm listening to "Gift Of Screws" now... damn Lindsey, you sure can shreik! :D
I just gave mum a listen - she just said on the outset that she doesn't like it when Lindsey's crazy, but surprised me by warmly saying that he sounds like Sid Vicious, and that I should play it to scare the neighbours when I have my 21st! Rofl!
And now I'm playing "Great Day"... such a good song as well... now "Time Precious Time"... perhaps I'll give the album another listen right now... (I wonder if I'll discover a sudden, unexpected, newfound, deep adoration for some of his other songs on the album this time round?)

D: No! Aaargh, I could NEVER put the VU back... if I could only find them.
Well, I've actually never heard (recognised?) any VU material, so I don't know what I'm missing out on... of course, if Lou Reed's anything to go by ("A Gift" is such a top song! Rofl! True classic!), I've missed out in a big way. That said, I've listened to Gift Of Screws for a second time, and I've already enjoyed it more the second time 'round. What spoiled it a bit for me was hearing "Did You Miss Me" (a great song, but not my style I'm afraid) after the two fantastic opening tracks, which marred my enjoyment and proper appreciation of the later tracks, until "Gift Of Screws", which unsurprisingly snapped me back into focus (:D), before I was distanced yet again by "Underground" and "Treason", which I still have yet to appreciate. At least rather quick progress to full likeability is being made! :D
(Also, I just thought I'd share that I found my favourite album (well, it's tied with Roxy Music's Avalon, but anyway...), Days Of Future Passed by The Moody Blues, unenjoyable the first time I listened to it. Strangely, like most of The Moody Blues material I've heard, I didn't like it the first time 'round. I even went so far as to think "What's this crappy song?" when I heard "Forever Autumn", one of my fav MB songs, on the radio for the first time! Most of the time I think I can attribute this initial dislike to a mix of low volume and general distraction while "listening" to the music.)
(Lastly, I assume everyone here owns Days Of Future Passed by now? I mean, it goes without saying really...)

Damn, girl. You're right. I should've kept the tooth they yoinked, we could've used it as a mold for Rice Krispie treats, gummy bears, Pez, etc. Then install them in dentures - it's portable candy! No wrappers, so good for the environment! We'd make a mint!

I'm back to say things about that hole in my jaw again.
It's disconcerting me. Anyone ever have a back tooth, like a wisdom tooth or a molar, pulled before?
It's not really hurting me, but it's like...a hole. In my jaw. Y'know? And I'm afraid to eat because then stuff gets stuck in it and getting that out is even more disconcerting, if such a thing were even possible.
AND I'm terrified I'll get the dry socket, because Boy What Carries Things had the dry socket once when he had his wisdom teeth out, and he said it was appalling, and if he says it's appalling, then it's definitely appalling, cos I'm currently convinced he's got a broken bone in his foot but he keeps walking about on it anyway and tells me to be quiet, it's fine.
So...tooth extraction experiences? When can I stop worrying about the fact that there's a hole in my jaw?
I fear I sound like a hypochondriac, but I promise I'm not. I've just never had a hole in my jaw before and I'm having trouble dealing with the whole thing.

Just go to a dentist, get it over and done with.
Dentists are cool! :wavey:

Can you tell me more about this ? Are they going to stay in England, or is it gonna be a European tour ? I'd LOVE to see them live.

It's supposed to be a world tour, but their world seems to be consisting of the USA and the UK. I think there's more dates to come though, as they've not announced any Aus dates and only a few European ones. Check Blondie.net for a few weeks, 'cause I think they'll be cropping up there first

Thanks for the tip :). Really hope that they'll visit us here ! For the Parallel Lines tour, they forgot about France. Once more. That was sad.

They didn't sew up the hole? Oh wait I'm a ditz...you said you went to the dentist to have it done, not the oral/maxillofacial surgeon.

Yeah, no, they didn't sew it up. Is that bad? Am I going to die?

One of my latest crushes named Sammy seems to have a sudden interest in being my friend. We talked on the phone twice today. I'll be seeing him on Tuesday night and next weekend he agreed to go to the movies with me. He gave me some real nice compliments about my character and my personality.
Any suggestions from you guys as to what movie we should go see?

when did you have the extraction? if you've a hole there, sounds like you've already some sort of 'dry' socket. if this is recent, a blod clot should have formed allowing the healing to begin (e.g. no hole) :D i've never had an extraction nor dry socket but, basically, if you don't want a hole to pack goodies, a re-visit to the dentist would be in order...not sure what exactly they do (where's michelle?) but I imagine they do something (cut perhaps...owee...or maybe they pack it with the goodstuff :])...let the healing can begin. good luck.

Sooooooooo I recently realized that my life has been extra crappy for much too long for me to believe that this is a phase. So encouraging!

I think I'm not going to do anything but watch 30 Rock and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and read Harry Potter all day. I'm really excited about it.

They say that in the 22nd Century, when they start going all Star Trek on people's asses and transferring their consciousness into cyborg robots, the robot's brains will eventually decay away into nothingness, no matter what they do.
So . . . yes. Sorry to be so blunt about it. But, yes.
But I'd guess you have a good 120 years left! ....... ;)
