I never got the chance to get my haircut but I still had my date with Juan tonight. I really like this guy. A lot! He was so tender and sweet tonight. This may sound foolish but of all the guys I've dated in my life, so far he's the best in so many different ways. I really sound silly because everyone knows the beginning of any relationship is always the easiest.
Anyhoo, he asked me to pick him up Friday evening at 8:00PM for our 4th date. The next 3 days are gonna feel like an eternity. I can't wait, I can't wait.
I am literally smiling for you :)

I'm being forced to. I accidentally took an Ambien this morning (long story) and although I was actually holding up really well in class, my French teacher overheard me telling a classmate that I was surprised that I was functioning and she made me go take a nap. 30 minutes into my nap, the DEAN of all people walks into the room I was sleeping in (in the faculty lounge) and gives me this lecture about how I need to manage my stress better and not take any medications at all. She recommended I join her meditation class. At 5:45 AM. That's definitely going to help my sleeping problems.
So she called my parents who came and picked me up. I would've been perfectly happy just going back to class...
Rant over.

Believe it or not, it sounds to me like you go to a really good school.
At my old high school, they probably would have given you detention, believe it or not. Sound unjust and stupid?
Welcome to my old High School.
Don't get me started about the time in Junior High when they made a rule that no one could wear shorts to school - even though it was REALLY really hot - - - The entire student government (the so-called "cool" kids who were also the cheerleaders) - wore shorts to school the next day - - That was the end of that because they weren't about to suspend anybody even remotely connected with football.
If anybody but the "cool" kids had done it they would have suspended them like a shot.
That was exactly 9 months after they wouldn't let my friend Ken take Algebra a year early because he lived on the wrong side of the highway. :blob2:

I absolutely love my school in some ways but in others, it tends to be ridiculous. And trust me-- we aren't allowed to wear shorts year round. No jeans, no tank tops, no t-shirts... all skirts must be below the knee, no SANDALS. The administration is really relaxed about some things but crazy about others. The inconsistency is what is irritating. :(

I went to a school with a uniform for 9 years, I think. It was so much easier! You wear the same thing EVERY day so you don't need to think about it. Plus, its really difficult to even find clothes within our dress code. I miss our plaid skirts and polos :( They were so simple.

The girl who I used to work with, who I made listen to FM on the way home from work last week (I say used to because they fired her today for texting, I'm so next haha) just texted me and ask if she could borrow a CD of theirs for a project. I am so excited haha. I asked her if she had a preference and she just said pick your favorite and I was like oh boy... Then I asked what her project was over and as soon as she told me I said RUMOURS! (it's basically a comparison of different kinds of love or whatever..) I'm just so happy she asked for Fleetwood Mac of all bands. I'm so excited to see what she comes up with.

lol I know! Very lenient even. I went to (had to go to) Gordonstoun and I switched to Rugby School at 6th form - thank god!
Princess Anne was a regular visitor cause of her involvement in Gordonstoun and Zara was attending when I was there. Ugh. I mean they're nice people but I'm so glad I'm out of that kind of environment now. That school was in love with itself and never stopped reminding us that we were the school of royalty - what a load of wank!
Rugby was much better. Obviously still an independent school but just a nicer environement. Needless to say though that I wore a stupid looking uniform every day and was a boarder so there was no point in even trying to get away with too much cause you're surrounded by your school 24/7. But still like I said, I didn't mind my time at Rugby.
Do they have schools like that in the US? It all seems to be no uniforms and like those schools in movies which look 0% like any kind of school I've been to. Even the private ones there look different, except for maybe that one in dead poets society. That's the closest american form I've seen of what school was like.

I haven't been on the Ledge in a few days, and a lot has happened since then, but probably nothing that would excite anyone here.

I went horseback riding on Friday
Yesterday was Halloween
I just got home from a sleepover with four of my best friends

I had a ****ty weekend, or so I thought. Juan stood me up on our date for Friday which would have included a Halloween party. I went home instead and sulked, thinking we were through and that I had been dumped. But I wasn't!
He called tonight and sincerly apologized. He came over and spent 4 wonderful hours with me, talking and listening to music and he gave me a great massage and we did some other things I can't mention here. He asked if he could come over again on Tuesday evening.
It is almost 3:30 in the morning here. I am so screwed with my schedule for this morning, but he is worth it. Just B4 he left he was lyimg on the couch and I was sitting there looking pensive and he asked me why I was sad.
He's so sweet. I was sad cause a very good time had to come to an end so we could both go about being responsible.
Thank God I am self employed. I'm so excited and WIDE awake.

So I am highly considering a new Fleetwood Mac "project". Right now, I have every FM/Stevie record from 1973-1987 on vinyl (Buckingham Nicks, White album, Rumours, Tusk, Bella Donna, Mirage, Wild Heart, Rock a Little, Tango in the Night).
Do you guys think its even possible to get every FM record on vinyl from 1967-2003 and do the same for every Stevie, Lindsey, Christine and Mick solo record? I know it would be possible if I did it only including Stevie and Lindsey... But Christine and Mick's stuff might be really difficult. And this wouldn't include greatest hits packages like Timespace and The Chain. Only the albums that are new work only.
JTIS. That would be AWESOME if I could pull it off and decorate my wall with it.

There's a few that were never on vinyl: Street Angel, Under The Skin, Christine's In The Meantime, The Dance, Say You Will. Lindsey's Out Of The Cradle is very difficult to get on vinyl now these days too. Do you have a record player? Vinyl is even nicer to listen to. There's something about putting the needle on the record that still gives me a thrill.

Christine's second album ("Christine McVie") and Mick's early albums are easy to get on vinyl, and fairly cheap. I doubt Mick's "Something Big" album was released on vinyl though. That's if you want that.. The early Mac stuff is all out there, shop around for cheaper copies, reissues and such, rather than the original editions, which can be $$$$ in the case of the first three albums. Likewise "Christine Perfect", which can be astronomically priced

I will definitely post some pictures when it's done. There's a kit that you can buy at Wal-Mart or Target for tie-dying with directions and all that jazz, so I'm hoping it will help with smaller items, like the tote.
On another note, I'm getting my hair done tomorrow! I haven't had a real hair cut in a year and a half... I wanted my hair to grow to be able Stevie's length, so when I went in to get it cut and highlighted, I literally got an inch or less cut off. Now it's past my chest area and my ends are so fried. I don't want too much cut, but I need a slight change. As for color, I'm gonna keep it really blonde, like it is now. My roots are dreadful right now. I use to get it done all of the time thanks to my daddy's child support, but when I graduated he didn't have to pay it anymore, so my mom said if I wanted it done, I would have to pay for it. So I've wait 6 months and my hair is begging for some treatment. Tomorrow's hair appointment can't come soon enough haha.

I don't know, I found it was actually more humorous than scary. But I guess since it appears to be homemade that it tricks people into thinking that it's real.
Apparently my subconscious was scared ****less because I couldn't sleep the night that I saw it.
I went to bed at like 1am but was up at 3am. Then I couldn't go back to sleep. I was going to turn on the TV or read or something, but if I had turned on any lights I would've started to beign imagining things and freak myself out even more! But it only lasted a night, I'm all good now!

ugh, I know what you feel, I've had a similar situation recently. Just take it one step at a time, don't procrastinate, make an outline of what you need to do and divide it into portions: everyday, one task from the list and then a reward: some free time to do whatever you like to do to relax. About the emotional part...well... not much you can do about it. Try to focus on the aspects of your current situation that you CAN control.

My roommate doesn't clean. EVER.
She doesn't do her dishes, she doesn't clean the bathroom, she doesn't pick up the living room. I tried to talk to her yesterday, I told her that we had fruit flies (she didn't notice?) and that it would be better if "we" didn't leave dirty dishes around. I also told her that I saw a mouse. ( I didn't really) I just did her dishes again. I don't remember the last time I've seen her do dishes. Or take out the garbage. It drives me crazy and I can't just leave her dishes because they will be there for WEEKS. I don't know what to do. She works all the time, so I don't see her very much, but the few times she is here, I can always tell, because there are always 2 or 3 diet cokes cans laying around the house, butter out on the counter, dishes on the stove and in the living room, and crumbs everywhere. I'm not overreacting. Really, I'm not.

Have you tried talking to your landlord? Sorry, but after reading this I really do wonder if that's something you should consider at this point. It's to your landlord's advantage to "have a little talk with her" about it because if you get . . . uhm . . . BUGS . . . then he or she will have to pay to get rid of them.
Actually, come to think of it, i.m.o. your landlord should tell her that if you DO get bugs, mice, rats, etc., then she's the one who's going to have to pay for the exterminator. She's probably also in violation of her lease, by the way.
Anyway it might make things a little uncomfortable around the place for awhile - but aren't they already? And besides, you'd be doing her a favor because she's gonna have to learn to pick up after herself sooner or later. And she's mistreating and disrespecting you as a person and you should let her know that.
One sidebar, though - Is she really really busy? Like a Med Student or something? Or really anxious about low grades or something and so studying all the time? Or maybe going through something else? Those things, of course, could be the reasons behind all this.
By the way, I once had a roommate from China who was a little messy - one thing he did was he was ALWAYS pouring vegetable soup and stuff like that down the sink, and it would get clogged up -
we'd explain to him why and he'd seem to understand but then he would do it AGAIN. Anyway he eventually moved out (because he had graduated with a Master's in Architecture) and it turned out that he had left a bunch of cereal behind in a cabinet in the kitchen - we hadn't even been aware of it. The landlord discovered it and there were BUGS. (Ants, if I remember right.) LITERALLY inside the cereal. The landlord then kicked EVERYBODY out. He said he was going to only rent to girls from then on - because (he thought) they're "cleaner." That's not even legal. I could have made a big fuss, reported him to the "Black List" of Syracuse University, and all of that; but I had already been planning on leaving and it just wasn't worth dealing with, and I figured it really was a karma kind of situation where it was gonna come right back to him.
Anyway read whatever moral you want to into all that - I guess the main thing is that it seems like everyone has to deal with a messy roommate, sooner or later.

you're right.
my friend recently had big drama unfold when she and her other roommate confronted the other one about being a slob. The b!tch accused my friend of trying to kill her. by having a cat because she was allergic. She knew my friend had a cat before she moved in with them. she also kept letting the cat out, presumably so it'd get lost and/or die.
everyone ended up moving out of the apartment.

Yeah, I don't know what I'm going to do. The whole situation sucks right now. The good part is that this is the cheapest apartment that I've ever found in an actual decent location in Minneapolis. The bad part is that it came with an extremely messy roommate. Ughh.

We got report cards today... 4.o, baby! I'd die if I got anything less haha, I've had straight As since 7th grade! (In 6th grade I got a C in spelling... don't ask. Please.)
But yesterday my day was super ****ty! First, I spit my contacts down the drain. No, that was not a typo.
And then later that night I was flossing (I've had braces for 4 years.) and I got the stupid flosser thing stuck in my braces. My mom had to get it out with tweezers, and then I was bleeding all over so I just stopped flossing all together.
To make matters worse, I used this new mint floss last night, so when I went to take my contacts out, I burned my eyes from the mint. Ow.

Sigh. They don't let you edit the common application once you've sent it to a school, but there's this long and tedious process that they don't advertise whatsoever that basically lets you create up to 10 different applications on the same username. And when I said not advertised, I mean I had to call the organization and have them give me secret codes and things so I could do it.
Ugh. This week needs to be over! haha but I am SO glad it worked out.

Boston University is an awesome, awesome school. I was accepted but we couldn't afford it. SUNY Buffalo was my backup school so I ended up going there instead. It's actually a pretty good school if I do say so myself. :]
But yeah, Boston University is a WAY good school i.m.o.
Except I've heard many people say that it's gotten HUGELY Conservative.
Colgate is also one helluva fine school. I've seen their campus, it's BEAUTIFUL! :)
P.S. - One thing I'd like to suggest -
I'd spend a LOT of time thinking about whether you want to spend 4, 5 years of college at a BIG school or a SMALL school. It really does make a HUGE difference - it's night and day. SUNY Buffalo for example had like 25,000 students and it's only gotten bigger. The expectations were VERY high and the biology and math classes were VERY rigorous. That's both good and bad in a way. Many people felt "lost" there because it was so big. But small schools have their pluses and minuses too. i.m.o. it's a completely differenct experience, between a small school and a large one; and it's worth really spending a lot of time mulling over. In my opinion, that's actually the most important choice - maybe even more important than which specific school you choose to go to.

For me, I'm just focused on escaping from what I've experience up until this point. I want something huge or something tiny, a really rural school or a really urban school. I've been in mid-size Catholic schools in suburbia for the majority of my life (minus the year I was kinda homeschooled-- long story) and I just need a change. But yes, Tim, I think you're right-- which is why I'll be spending a lot of time visiting each campus once I have my list of acceptances.
:/ so stressful!

Ugh, Dani I'm going to be able to empathise soon! In a couple of months time I have to start my university applications, and due to the fact that everyone who's been through it already says it's horrific. We have this system called UCAS over here, and basically it's a pretty in-depth personal statement of what extra-cirricular activities you've done, a bit about yourself - probably similar to your application system in the US, actually. For someone like me who has done very few extra-cirricular activites in my five years prior to sixth form college, I'm having to sign up for as much as possible now, which isn't a good idea as I took four A-Levels. In short, that equals a ****load of work.
So, good luck with your applications! You're a highly intelligent, interesting person, I'm sure you'll be just fine. :)

I have neglected my Ledgies. I miss you guys. I've been busy doing a whole lot of nothing, yet everything.
I just made spaghetti. It was fabulous. There is a lot left. I want more garlic bread....LOTS of garlic, cus I be loving me some garlic. Since this is the whatever thread, here are random things that have occurred within the last couple of days:
I think I woke up making out with Sara's cat. I'm not real sure what she was doing to me, but I am pretty sure that cat was all up in my mouth. Funny....I mean, it's funny now, NOT funny when it happen.
I've only cooked once in like a whole month, which is not normal for me. I generally always cook. I'm losing the feeling of responsibility and I don't like it.
I quit my job teaching and now unemployed again, haha. It's not really funny, but I have to laugh. I liked it a lot, it was fun, but I really don't think it's for me after all. I was stressing more than I was being helpful to the kids, which is the most important thing in that field of work. So now it's back to job hunting. I have an interview set up for Friday with this nutrition company that sounds hella exciting, or at least I will get to try lots of dietary products at discount price which makes me giddy.
I cut like 3 inches off my hair yesterday for no apparently reason and went blonder. I'm feeling very.......Marilyn these days, haha. Or maybe just crazy.
I know there was more random things to share, but my brain is not functioning at the moment. I haven't had Diet Coke in days and I am really suffering.
Love to all.

But yes, as of right now, I have the worst GPA of my entire high school career. With a month to go before my 1st semester of senior year is over. Goodbye, Brown. My dreams of you were lovely while they lasted.
On a sidenote, I'm seeing an awesome band later tonight. If you're into Iron & Wine and other indie folk acts like that, check these guys out.

Two comments I'd like to make -
I probably didn't take as many AP classes as you guys are; it sounds to me like you're taking several - - - I took AP Bio and AP Social Studies. And they probably were a lot different back then than they are now.
But looking back, I feel that those two courses did more to prepare me for college than any other class that I had ever taken.
I certainly remember the essay questions in AP Social Studies, where I'm just SCRIBBLING as FAST as I can in order to try to answer all the questions before time was up!
Anyway, it was worth it, so hang in there! :)

I am so effing tired. I just got home from basketball practice. I did the math and, overall, we ran 15 'suicides' and a Deep 42. It was horrible. And I'm sooooo out of shape it's not even funny. I also really need a shower, but I don't think I can make it up the stairs. I'll stay up just long enough to watch one episode of the Nanny. Because that is what I live for.

I always thought it was best not to take more than 2 AP classes at a time. I was never strong in math so I took regular math classes in high school. I was better at science but the math component, especially in chemistry, dragged me down to the regular classes as well. I excelled in history and english, so I always took those as AP. It's funny how some of you were talking about how hard you thought AP US history is/was. I kicked some major ass in that class. I was earning better grades than our eventual valedictorian, it was sweet! My favorite AP class was European History. So much work, but I loved it (of course I now have a masters degree in history, so I'm just a little biased). I got a 5 on that exam, and knew it the minute I walked out. The teacher told us at the beginning of the year we would be sleeping with Kagan (writer of our textbook), and we all had a good laugh, until it turned out to be true! I think I spent the entire week before the exam mumbling about the Peace of Westphalia!

I will never, ever see New Moon. The entire Twilight series was already on my **** list just for being a vampire romance... and then my mom decided to become obsessed with Rob Pattison. She has a poster of him in her bedroom.
But hey, she did pay me $50 to watch the first movie with her-- she's THAT obsessed. Maybe she'll do the same for New Moon. All I know is that 47-year-old women should not be planning monthly trips to LA and deliberately stopping at a young celebrity's favorite bars and restaurants...

Keep in mind that I go to a Catholic school. We have to pay to go on this retreat and its a religious thing in many senses-- the retreat house is an old monastery. Most schools don't offer a program like this. I think we are really lucky to be able to go.
Last year, I went on the junior retreat that was held at a different facility and it was a much more communication-oriented thing. I absolutely adored that experience and my sources tell me that senior retreat is a thousand times more memorable, especially for "somebody like me" (?? don't know what that's supposed to mean but a teacher than I am very close to said it....)

track practice has absolutely killed my legs...i cant walk down any flight of stairs because they hurt so much. and it also sucks that when its cold/raining/blah outside we have to practice upstairs and then we are forced to walk down a long ass flight of stairs to go on our "merry" way...this pain started monday night and isnt going away =[

I'm 5 nights into my 8 night stay with my mother and stepfather. I'm going insane. :] I normally plan my visits to be about 4 days with them, as that is usually the extent of my tolerance limit with them. But do to steep airfares, I had to plan my flights on off-peak days, so I'm here til Tuesday.
Now, I am visiting in South Florida, so weather-wise I can't complain. But, I'm pretty much done with my mother attempting to micro-manage my entire schedule down to when I can use the bathroom.
I'm sure there are many people who aren't as fortunate to spend holidays with family for a multitude of reasons, so yes, I'm grateful to have the oppurtunity. I'm just frustrated in the moment and needed to vent. :sorry: Thanks for letting me. :blob2:

My roommate's sixteen year old sister is visiting right now, and, while my roommate is at work, it's just the two of us sitting around my dorm doing work and chatting.
It's a prime time for indoctrination.
So far, while innocently doing work at my desk, I've played "Thrown Down" "Rhiannon" "Silver Springs" "Crash Into Me" and "I Can't Wait." I'm starting to run out of hope that something will grab her interest and make her ask who's singing.

I actually have no complaints about life right now (surprising, I know...)
My new job is awesome, the ladies in the office treat me great. The receptionist even baked me a cake for my birthday! How sweet was that? I finally opened up my new bank account and I'm saving everything I make from this job to go towards something I've wanted to do for a long time. I finally have a couple excuses and the means to do so! I'm gonna go for it! annnd after this week I go back to school for 2 weeks then I'm on holiday break for 2 more weeks! and in March I'm completely done with school! I absolutely can't wait!
Life is good.

Also, tonight is my last high school football game ever. We are playing in the CCS (Central Coast Section) finals tonight against our 50+ year long rival. I usually hate games and have no spirit whatsoever but I'm getting nostalgic as ****... we had a surprise rally today and the boys all did a Tongan chant that's been a tradition since 1971... and all the coaches, many who played for my school many years ago, were crying. I came home today (like most other days), and as I got off the elevator, I noticed that the door to one of my neighbor's apartments was sealed shut with bright green NYPD tape. There was a notice on the door that said something to the effect of "this apartment has been sealed by order of the NYPD, any entry is forbidden." Pretty cryptic. But the header of the sign had the ominous acronym: D.O.A. I am assuming the old lady who lived there (I never actually met her- it's a NY thing) must have been found in there. And considering I've only rarely seen her emerge, and she never seemed to have any visitors, I am thinking she may have been there for a while. So I'm kinda skeeved that all this time I've been coming and going, she's been slowly turning into worm food just mere steps away...
Okay... this sounds horrible... but based on her age and the age of the building (pre-war), I am 99% sure she is one of those legacy rent controlled tenants- so she's paying like $250/month for an apartment that would normally fetch $4000/month (yes, four thousand) on the open market. And under NY City law, the apartment remains regulated even after the tenant leaves. Am I going to go to hell if I call the apartment management company tomorrow inquiring about this "new vacancy." I know it's so morbid... but getting an apartment like this would be like hitting the lottery... I feel so bad...

I bet you any amount of money, if there was some way to contact her in the afterlife and you asked her that question, she'd say something like, "Wow - all the things you could ask me? Uhm -
YEAH knock yourself out; take the apartment. It's just this weird
3-dimensional useless thing to me - I'm dealing with like, a hundred dimensions here and an entire eternity of time, so you'll excuse me if I'm not too interested in this....." Point being, yeah I know it's a little "squeamish" but you can't take it with you - It's not going to hurt her or anyone else in any way and i.m.o. there's certainly nothing morally wrong with it. But yeah I can understand how you, or anyone, might feel a little wigged out about it; that seems natural to me.

the downside is my husband got frostbite on his pinky finger~ he shoveled in shifts & was bundled, but the weather was just too brutal, his finger turned black & swelled up 3 times it's size~ thankfully it is healing~ i was super freaked out about it~ all i could think of was this story my dad told me of a classmate of his, who was too cool to wear a hat over his fonzie hair & his ears were frostbitten so bad, they turned black & fell off:eek:~ he took to wearing hats after that, not to stay warm, but to hide that he had no ears~ i cross my heart, that's a true story~

I don't understand that there are Facebook groups about Hitler.
It's snowing. No math exam, hopefully.

None of our snow has melted, but now, I consider this a bad thing.
I just won Bella Donna and The Wild Heart on eBay but we've not had post for days, so I might have to wait ages for them D:

Good luck at the gym :)
My JTIS-- I apparently have no self restraint. At all. My boyfriend and I broke up two weeks ago for...a few thousand reasons. I just invited him to our very own Kate's (xxdreamsxxunwindxx or something like that) show at a local Pittsburgh bar tonight with me and a mutual friend of ours. Because, you know, alcohol and an added person for awkwardness is exactly what's going to make this situation better for everyone involved.
Awesome job, Marissa. Top form once again.

Wait! Wait! It gets even better. I texted him with the details of the show. I then texted the mutual friend to let her know that, though I know it's a bad idea, I invited him.
They're together right now. Yeah. Both of their phones definitely went off and I'm sure they had the "Oh, who are you talking to?" "Marissa" "Really? Me, too." Conversation. Fukcing awesome.

Dude. Seriously. Seriously. I literally thought to myself, "It's not like I had any dignity left anyway. I may as well make this interesting." It turns out I hadn't actually hit rock bottom embarrassment yet. Awkward-I-hate-you-laughing followed by making out in a dive bar wouldn't have gotten me there, but him knowing that I texted her about my bad decision does.

Oh, thank god no. Although, if they were, I could get out my feelings with a little double homicide tonight. They're just hanging out with another friend of ours. The bad news is that mutual friend I got in touch with, Natalia, has a big mouth. Text to her said, "I make horrible life decisions. I invited Phil with us to the show tonight. Roll with it, please. You know I suck at self control." I'm sure she read it out loud to him.

wanna be sisters of the bad life decision with me? cuz that is the only kind of life decisions i make these days. at least when there's emotions and/or sex involved.

It's going to be something, that's for sure. Unless he backs out, which would definitely be in his character. Then again, he and I also have plans for Monday that he initiated so hell if I know anything I'm talking about here.

1. I hate you. A few of my friends road tripped to Cleveland two nights ago for no good reason. Do you know how much I would have liked to have tagged along on that to see you? Instead, I had to abstain because without you, Ohio is just a festering cesspool. I mean, it was more of one when you were there, but at least it was a Carrie-filled-festering-cesspool.
2. Okay, but really. Phil goes to NYU. Is there anyone at NYU who doesn't think they're Bob Dylan? I have to keep up in assigning myself an overdramatic character. Also, this is a man who actually thought that saying "I'm sorry that I haven't been able to talk with you about much of this-- sorting through my emotions over you is a solitary act, one occuring mostly in the literal and figurative mirror" was a good start towards being honest with each other. Please re-read that. Then imagine my face having to hear it in real life. You're telling me you're not nostalgic/ well then give me another word for it /you, who are so good with words/ and keeping things vague    Well, good with words is questionable. Unintentionally entertaining with words is definite.
3. I make no promises other than that if I'm getting there, I'll drunk dial you along the way.

"one occurring mostly in the literal and figurative mirror"? i hope he said that via email because as bad as that is, coming up with that extemporaneously? is even worse.

Accurate. I maintain that nothing will happen again until I'm in law school. It's just not the right time now. But hey, we've played this game for eight years now. Two more are nothing.

I swear to god, he said it over the phone. That's just the way he speaks when things get emotional. He completely shuts down. Another favorite: The love that I have for you is not uncomplicated and not without its depth, but you know my shortcomings more fully than anyone.
That was in person during our break up talk. He also adopts the most douche-baggy tone of voice I've ever heard in my life when he says those things. I mean, I guess you couldn't say them any other way.
Oh and last night was a disaster. An absolute disaster.

while in the car today Lady Gaga (or lady gage as my sister likes to call her..from the best typo ever) came on the radio at least 10 times on the way to springfield mall, the beauty supply store, and petsmart....
my mother said that Lady Gaga kinda reminds her of Stevie because they both did their own thing in music..hmm. anyone else agree with her?

^^ You might like this article. Someone posted it in the Stevie forum a few months back. The article got a lot of flack when it was posted, but I agree with the author. Stevie created her music around an image. You couldn't separate one from the other. Gaga is doing the same thing.
