Do the older members remember when Lindseys very athletic brother Gregory died suddenly? Around Nov. 1990. He was in his fourties. Their Dad dropped dead of a heart attack in '74. Poor dear Lindsey...you can tell he suffered
a lot. He just looks very upset! It was brave of him to take the stage that night. Good to have sympathetic friends such as Stevie who understand you and know how to help you move on! GOD Bless them!!! Cammie

Stevie was really out of it at that time, so I don't think she was very helpful to Lindsey. But with his brother having died a few weeks earlier, I do think that the band probably reached out to him at that time and so it probably was whatever caring they shared over that that led to him showing up at the last two concerts.

I was at the last concert, but I missed the one at the Cow Palace. I even had a ticket, but then I figured it was a waste of time and didn't attend. When my friend told me Lindsey appeared, I was crazed. It never occurred to me that he would show up in Los Angeles as well. I didn't think he'd do 2 nights in a row. I thought I'd completely missed the boat and I was devastated. So, when he did walk out in Los Angeles it still was a complete surprise.

Stevie was really out of it at that time, so I don't think she was very helpful to Lindsey. But with his brother having died a few weeks earlier, I do think that the band probably reached out to him at that time and so it probably was whatever caring they shared over that that led to him showing up at the last two concerts.

I was at the last concert, but I missed the one at the Cow Palace. I even had a ticket, but then I figured it was a waste of time and didn't attend. When my friend told me Lindsey appeared, I was crazed. It never occurred to me that he would show up in Los Angeles as well. I didn't think he'd do 2 nights in a row. I thought I'd completely missed the boat and I was devastated. So, when he did walk out in Los Angeles it still was a complete surprise.

Thank you very much for your correction and some facts we didnot know! We thought he only showed up one night with a borrowed guitar! Fleetwood Mac seemed to be there for each other in time of tragedy. If that was how it was...Lindsey was brave to go on so soon after Greg's death. :cool: His son was named for his big brother of course... William Gregory! God Bless Them ALL!!!

Well i always thought it was really adorable how Lindsey doesn't know what to do with his hands if he's not playing guitar, but in the SYW photos particularly, i do believe it's his wedding ring.

It's strange, but in that second, black and white photo, they almost look younger than they do on the BN cover. Maybe because their faces look full and clean, almost like a baby's. And their smiles look happy and innocent.

Sweet pics of one of my favorite guitarists. Thanks and I dig your username big time: Holiday Road is just one of the many things that makes National Lampoon's Vacation such an awesome movie. I swear, that Grand Canyon scene is something me and my parents would do at any natural wonder lol.

BTW, I'm not gonna lie: I do like him quite a bit clean-shaven (especially around Tusk when he wore those suits), but I've always liked him best when he had the frizzy hair and the beard. Now, go figure, but back then, he did look a lot like my ex, Tim, except that I typically described him, after we broke up, as "the love child of Kevin James and leprechaun attempting to be Lindsey Buckingham circa 1977" (yeah I was pretty mad at him when I called it off). One thing I bet Lindsey never did was whine when his girlfriend beat him at Super Smash Bros. fair and square lol.

Yay someone else agree with me too! And for the longest time, I never realized he even had blue eyes and just assumed they were brown (had a similar situation with Robert Plant, who also has blue eyes), but geez they are a gorgeous shade!

I guess the reason I like Lindsey without the beard is because that's how he looked when I became a fan. I didn't know until over 3 years later that he had ever had a beard.

I never really paid that much attention and always assumed he had weirdly spaced toes. But now that you mention they could definitely be sandals. I think a larger, HD version of the pic would probably clarify but I'll take your word for it. Either way, the kid obviously dressed like his dad for this photoshoot. I wonder if Lindsey ever keeps any of his old clothes like Stevie does. Probably not. His mother might have had things from childhood, but I suppose Lindsey wouldn't have old Tusk costumes, Mirage vests, etc. He probably didn't even save any of those jeans on which Stevie sewed moons and stars.

I know Cher mentioned she has saved some of Sonny's clothes and she recalled that one good thing about him is that he basically let her dress him anyway she wanted, back in the sixties. Any color, any odd fashion. He was game. Michele

The girl is Carol Ann Harris. LB's girlfriend from the mid '70s to around 1984.

Thanks. She does bear a weird resemblance to Stevie, but more of a cousin resemblance. Then again, Stevie was going out with Don Henley, who was pretty much Lindsey light: all the hotness without the intensity.

And while you're putting up pics, do you know of pics from the red carpet of some award show where Lindsey won't let go of Stevie (and he has Christine too in a few shots), Mick is dying at the sight of it, and John is completely oblivious of what's going on? And what award show was it for?

A lot of people say Carol Ann looks like Stevie, but I just don't see it.

I don't really see much of a resemblance to her and Stevie, but maybe as cousins. Besides, they're too different (and if I was Lindsey, I'd take Stevie any day of the week lol).

And thanks for the pics from that award show. I've seen 'em, cracked up, and wondered where they were from. Still, I think Lindsey has some plans for Stevie that night...;)

To me, almost any pic with a beard doesn't look much like Lindsey. It's just such a huge change!

To me for a long time, I had known him with the beard, but he just looked odd to me when I saw him clean-shaven. I guess i just thought he looked cooler with the hair and that it let his eyes stick out more.

If you like Christine McVie, you should listen to Time at least for her songs. As for the OOTC pics, I never really thought about it as LB looking sad...maybe just more serious (?) His brother died about 2 years before, so maybe he had that on his mind.

Looks OOTC, but I bet he's upset cause his shirt is so big, like how he looked upset when his shirt was buttoned too high (you know, his shirts have to be tight and/or show off his chest hair).

I know what you mean. I think there is an interview where Lindsey says that Dave Mason influenced him as a young musician and I thought that was very prophetic.

But that picture was taken after Lindsey left the band. Lindsey was just visiting. So Dave's future with them had already begun.
