There are some pics I've seen over the years where LB looks very 'un-Lindsey'. It is surprising how that can happen at times. For example, I don't think LB looks much like himself in this pic with Brian Wilson.

To get it in the body, people use a photo site like Photobucket, then they just post the link that that site gives the photo in their Ledge post. It comes up as a picture in the body of the text.

I really don't know for sure what issue. I haven't been able to find out. I did see a January 1985 on eBay and one cover story says something about 'Rock Turns Fashionable'. Maybe it is in there???

I like it when he holds his guitar upright. He's doing that in the Big Love video and strumming robotically and it enhances the video. Even though they aren't doing anything particularly spooky in that video, it has an eerie vibe throughout. I like it when he whips his neck around to face the camera in the end.

Lindsey has been my favorite since I was almost 10 (I'm now almost 39). My mom thought it was totally strange that I found someone that much older than I am so attractive. I've heard every comment imaginable from her about how old he is! Funny thing is that my mom is close to LB's age (she's 60)! So, if he is old, what does that make her?!!

Well, I play guitar and I think that sometimes it's a question of habit, but also you have to look what are you doing. That's how works for me, but he is Mr Lindsey Buckingham people, the guitar is an extension of his arms. :D

I know what you mean. That's how I feel about L & O. Really nice looking guy, but doesn't seem like Lindsey. Now, this BAM cover does look like Lindsey to me, but I get your point about his good side and bad side.
Lindsey has that roughness on one cheek. Maybe it's an old childhood scar or something, I don't know. But he has had that patch of wrinkles on one side of his face, forever.

What a concentrated expression! Love this picture. The turner model is his signature guitar, but viewing him with a different guitar (strictly excluding acoustic ones) gives me a strange feeling.

While I am not an expert, I have played around some with videos. VOB files are the DVD Video OBject files on a DVD. With these source files, you can create a DVD for playback on a DVD player (with DVD creator software and a DVD burner). You can convert VOB files to mp4 or mpv files to import into iTunes and play them back on your iPad or iPod. There are some free conversion programs out there to convert VOB files to mp4 or mpv format. The one I use is Handbrake.

What I would really like is HD viersions of LB's OOTC videos (Soul Drifter, Countdown, Wrong and Don't Look Down), but none are listed on these sites.

A .vob file is a file you would burn to a blank DVD.

Yeah, his stage antics at the time are surely different now. He was, and still is in some ways, eccentric in what concern stage playing, but as you said, maybe he considers "that" outdated. It's strange how things works in a different way, from artist to artist. There are singers whose "antics" are not changed at all.

You know it's funny to me how much of the old site is online that I don't see often, because it's not in the content management system that was installed 5 years ago. So, you have to go outside of the regular menu to find those pages. Even though I guess our Ledge posts only go back to the 2000s, some other portions of the site go back to 1995. They're fun to read sometimes.

I love Don Henley, but there's NO WAY Don could beat Lindsey (IMO) back in the 70's. Lindsey was smoking hot, part genius, part warrior, part wounded soul.

Although, Don is holding up pretty well these days so as much as I love Lindsey it maybe a draw for me right now.

Yes, that's a bad shirt. Maybe it helped Bill Hader think of Lindsey more than he otherwise would have, but otherwise, it never did anything to earn its keep. The darn thing just hung around freeloading for 1.5 years.

You know when Lindsey and Stevie first came on stage, she was wearing a wine-colored dress, which was a big deal at the time -- a switch from the black -- and I think the shirt was chosen to compliment her dress. But I wish he'd gone with a more muted shade of red like she did.
