I know what you mean. I think there is an interview where Lindsey says that Dave Mason influenced him as a young musician and I thought that was very prophetic.

But that picture was taken after Lindsey left the band. Lindsey was just visiting. So Dave's future with them had already begun.

Lindsey looks so HOT here. I like that he's playing up the badass-cool while holding his girl's hand.

I think I'm caving for the fro LB. It was always Tusk/OOtC/Say You Will era for me, but now I have definitely become a fro fan. I think it makes him appear more rock and roll, more mysterious, and even more interesting- and he's all these things regardless of hairstyle but if appearances count for anything...fro LB had something amazing going on.

Yes, I'm not the only one here that likes him that way! I agree with all you said about Lindsey with his fro, but like someone else said here that I agreed with on another thread, all that hair softened his chiseled facial features (which are an asset for him) and the fact that it is very dark helped make those blue eyes (which is something that all of us female fans can agree on that ithey're gorgeous) stick out even more.

Oh yeah, and I just realized that CAH looks like a cheerleader or an Arrowette (what my high school called their dance team) I went to high school with. Go figure. :shrug:

Neither of his brothers were in the pics. This was at a birthday party for another child.

:lol: I could see why she'd say that! They have around a 20 year age difference. (Not that I can talk, my husband is 13 years older than I am!). I don't usually keep pics that have LB w/Kristen, but Lindsey looks good in these.

:laugh: But I really don't agree. I think in the older pics around the time they got together there's a very noticeable age difference. She basically has a baby face and he just looked like a middle-aged grouch (1998 pic as example), but it has never looked like father-daughter territory to me. As he's gotten older, particularly around the SYW/UTS era LB was looking like a fine piece for an older man, and personally I think he has still aged wonderfully. But when I place a pic of Kristen at the age she is now to one of LB at that same age I have to say he blows her away in the youthfulness department. She's a lovely, lovely woman and all respect to her, etc. but she isn't young-looking nor does she look like his daughter.

Somewhat related revelation: as plain-looking as Soon-Yi Previn is I still think she looks like a child next to W.Allen. It's weird. She's like 40.:shrug:

It would be fun to make FM face cards. I wish one of those printing places offered that service. You know they will make mugs, t-shirts and calendars for you if they give you the picture. It would be great if you could give them pictures and have them converted into playing cards, because it would be fun to think of 52 pics to send it, especially choosing the King, Queen and Jacks -- oh and the joker!

That would be amazing! NME did a series of Playing cards years ago with rock legends on. I only have the Debbie Harry one, though.

I'm going to make some FM Playing cards in photoshop now :lol:

I'm going to go through their songs with numbers in them and make a list of other cards for myself. Like the 5 of Diamonds would be five fireflies and so on. Or card references like Christine's Liar, you're the jack of hearts, etc.

Post #316 LB looks like a sick mess in that first picture, even though his smile is perfect. The eye makeup makes him look like he's anemic or someone from the Addams Family. In the second pic he looks amazing. I really love the way he's aged, even though others may feel otherwise.

Post #317 He's handsome but looks like he's wearing lipstick in the first pic. I don't understand WTH he's doing in that second pic. And I LOVE the last pic. He's got such beautiful eyes.:xoxo:

He did wear suits during the Tusk tour. But, he's wearing the hat on the cover of the 1980 FM Documentary/Live Concert........maybe that was considered the Fleetwood Mac Live tour....:) It's too early to think!!

It was released on VHS. Someone I knew in the past had one and I wanted it!! I saw at once on Amazon for $69.95! As for DVD, there are bootlegs of it floating around.......

I do have a bootleg DVD of it, Rosebud, and Japan show from someone. They're all good, but maybe they could give both Tusk and Rosebud docs official DVD releases, along with Buckingham Nicks (for CD that is)

Back then, I don't even know how people could tell whether he was good looking or not, with all that stuff masking his features. In some footage I've seen, namely some Japan stuff, you could see, at certain angles, how good-looking he is, namely his chiseled facial features. And as for being in person, Stevie obviously thought he was attractive, so he musta been.

I still say Out of the Cradle Lindsey was just...a-maz-ing.:xoxo: He was soooo beautiful in all those vids, in the guest appearances, in the mags, and just in generally anything where he was filmed/photographed during that period.

I think Tango Lindsey is gorgeous, particularly in the SW vid. Wow.:]

I think Tusk is untouchable and he was on a magnificent peak looks/talent-wise that I'm still floored by it and would have loved to meet that LB, even if he was a neurotic mess. Yes he was skinny. Yes he sometimes looked terribly ill, but I still think it's a look that fits in the tops for LB.

The fro/beard LB is incredible. I'm seeing it now. I like the edge it gave him and the majority of my friends who don't give a rat's about FM/LB/Stevie, etc. think that he was STUNNING during that time. They like how he looks with all that hair...:shrug:

Say You Will LB will ALWAYS be in my top fave LB periods because I fell for him then and I believe it was the time when he was able to manifest all that creative energy that he had been working towards expressing after OOtC. I really think he took the reigns and everything he did just blew me away and I had to do the retrospective Lindsey Buckingham tour after I saw his performance on that tour. It was too overwhelming and in-your-face to ignore. He was full force, and he looked beautiful.

^^^^Yikes. All the overdone adjectives...but that's common when we're discussing this man's looks/talent. Lindsey really has become one of my favorite artists of all time. He won that position all on his own.^^^

I'll be honest, I'd rather not (I also bet I'll get yelled at for using too big a pic for my siggy), but it'd be cool if someone did that and had a pic next to it of Lindsey right after he cut his hair with a deadpan expression that says "YA RLY".

All I can say is with that pic is that it's color proof that he looked awesome with a fro and beard.

He looked hot all the time, but some periods, more so than others (SYW with the white shirt, Tusk with the suits, etc.). The fro and beard is one of those more so period cause of looking awesomely "rock and roll" and having those baby blues stick out very starkly in all that hair.

Since holidayroad went AWOL, I'm gonna continue with vids and pics Bucky looks good in. Now, does anyon e know a way where I could take pics off Facebook and use 'em here?

Well, what have we learned here? I'm a 2-hour train ride away from Manhattan and have never been to the top of the Empire State Building (but I have been to the top of one of thw Twin Towers...after waiting on a 2-hour line). Cool thanks. I posted the one of Lindsey commando from Tumblr when you were gone. Some of these look like they were tweaked a bit using Photoshop, like they took out the rest of the band and moved 'em closer together. I understand why some fans want 'em back together, but Photoshopping the rest of the band out of legit pics is just a huge no-no on my part.

And ten bucks says he probably got it waxed off when it started to gray :eek:

@Miranda- He still looks his best with a full beard and i was never that crazy for him when he went scruffy, but damn he looks fine there.

Now, I found this old pic and does anyone know where it was taken? Judging by their appearances (hair and the fact that Stevie is wearing *gasp* jeans), (hilariously) 70's furniture that'd look fine in my Connecticut aunt's living room (she has shag carpeting and wood paneling in there. Really, I think it had to do with the spinal tap (which Carol Ann harris described-oh-so-accurately in her book), so that does take strength.

LOL at first i would take the URL that the picture was on, but that just gave me the webpage. You have to right click the image and go to "open image in new tab" and use that URL so:

I hate watermarks too (but you can make bad jokes about 'em, like a banner on where Stevie looks like she was about to win a race), but he still looks sweet with a beard.

I think the fro pics are becoming my favorites. I love how his eyes look. In the one pic posted with all the watermarks there was some picture of Will where I think he looks SO much like his dad there. Obviously no facial hair, but the eyes and expression were the same. I have to find that to show what i mean.

Yes, I'm getting a convert! Now, I like him in any era, but there are some that I like morethan others, and I have to say his fro and beard is probably his best. As for the eyes, they tended to stick out more in the dark hair as a very stark ice blue. Hell's yeah!

I have seen one of his daughters, and she does have his eyes, but can you show us that pic of Will?
