Dude, I swear I've seen you too. Wasn't your hair blond & curly a few years back?
My hair as been blond in the past, but never curly. And I swear on all that is holy (Stevie) I have never posted a picture of myself online. Not just the Ledge, but any message board.
Maybe you saw me at a concert. I would have been high school age, though...

yeah thats why I was making the point to show the "general" differences... haha... which would you rather have? More PC-ness equals less friendly? A bit silly really.
I remember when we moved from Texas to Tennessee in 1992... the kids in TN thought we were from "New Yaw-rk" because of the way we spoke. We had moved around so much as kids that, our accents were really muddled. I remember find that really funny even as a teen... that coming from Texas (such a country state) and moving to the other most well known country state and getting accused of being new yorkers. *shakes head*
I grew up in Vermont, where everyone speaks with a Northeastern accent.
Today I was doing a debate on the legalization of prostitution in my argument class. Well, I referenced Nevada.
Everyone in my class, with their Pa accent's thought it was hilarious the way I said.
Na, Vaa, Da instead of how they say it Ne, Va, Da. :p
It's like that with Aunt too. I say Aunt, while everyone else within this area say "Ant."

From what I see of your un-shadowed picture, you're not ugly.
I don't think I'm anything to look at, but ya know what? It's all I've got, and life is short. And I don't plan on wasting another minute of my life....
Loving yourself, is the first step. Because once you do, most of the world will love you, too. And the ones who don't, are a waste of your time and energy, anyway!
OMG, THAT'S NOT ME!!! No, no, no, no... I just used a random image from Google to underscore the Facepalm-worthy comment. Ugh.

You sound so hot. Trade hair, please?!
Thank you. Where were you when I was in school? I was teased mercilessly for being too shy, having no friends, etc. I know it shouldn't, but it bothers me to this day.
BTW- You may have my hair. When I get a haircut, I'll send you the clippings. :p

Dude, you have. I think you were at an event - a parade or something? Seriously, it was you with another person or group of people. I had no idea you were an Asian male until I saw it. Maybe another board?
^^Proof that I did not post a picture. HejiraNYC does not do parades or groups or other boards. And as far as I'm aware, I did not get snapped by the paparazzi at the B&N signing. If I sense a snapping camera in my midst, I will duck or run. I'm just not a fan of photography at all.

haha as Jerry Seinfeld said... "How can it be racist, if I like their race?" I've never heard anyone say "Orientals" in a derogatory way but I do suppose it's mostly older people that say it. I still hear "Japs" occasionally and I find it more humorous than anything, but of course I would never say it. It's a little too close to that line for me.
Lol! That's funny because generalization because in the south, northerners are viewed as having less manners & being less friendly.
You're the ONLY person I've ever known, who quotes Seinfeld, more than I.
And the north/south thing is true, for the most part.
I'm a Yankee, but spend a LOT of time down in TN. The people there, are SO MUCH more friendly there, than they are here. They've told me that they hate Yankees, because we're rude, impatient, and self-absorbed. I agree.
My friend moved here from Chicago....she says the difference in just friendliness, from there to here in IN, is huge. The difference from Chicago to the South, must be astronomical. 70yo women, greet you on a city street, down there. That would rarely happen, here.

I was raised in the South and have lived here all my life, but I'm extremely introverted, and as a kid it was absolute hell. I don't like talking to people I don't know well, and will go out of my way to avoid it. I don't do small talk, and generally don't make eye contact with people on the street. I prefer to be kind of anonymous, fade into the wallpaper, and not call attention to myself as much as possible.
Because of all that, my mother (don't get me started on her) thought I was autistic, and I could never get it through the school secretary's head that I was not in Special Ed.
Sometimes I wonder if I would've had an easier time in the North.

First off, thanks y'all for the kind words. Again, I just want to emphasize that I am not insecure. I just preferred to stay under the radar.
I get these backhanded compliments all the time. You are so ______ for an Asian. I'm like, wha....? Am I supposed to be flattered by that? It just makes me nauseous thinking about the popularly-held preconceived notions about Asian people. I mean, admittedly... there is a little grain of truth to some of it. But it's not a compliment when you are slamming an entire segment of the population at the same time.

^ I'm with Cammie. Maybe it a shot of you before a Stevie or Mac show? With another fan? Did they post it? I know I've seen you before & we've never met.
We grew up five minutes away from each other, and I just have to chime in that I think our "tolerance" is not necessarily a good thing. When you teach a child to be tolerant of someone else, you're teaching that child that someone's race and sexuality are something that you have to accept. The wording makes it seem like their differences are a problem, but like the good little white people we are, it's a problem we can pride ourselves on overcoming. I will be such a happy woman when we stop being satisfied with being tolerant and aim towards acting like decent human beings to other decent human beings.
Good points.

Yes, very happy!:wavey: It's great to see you, I always look forward to your posts and insight on this board. For me, you add much needed well thought out, balanced perspective from the running with scissors mob mentality that can crop up ever so often. So whether I agree or not, you come across as a wealth of knowledge that is valued. And I must say, also being a person of color, it's so nice to see (here) and in the "Post A Picture of Yourself" thread, that The Ledge has so much diversity, in ethnicity, in demographic, in sexual orientation, etc. etc., Not exactly a revelation! But refreshing nevertheless.

Face to face, whether that's missionary, or knees on the headboard(is that technically still missionary?). I like to see who I'm doing.....plus, as the world's biggest kissing lover, doggy doesn't really allow for that.

Whoa! I'm away from The Ledge for a few days and this thread goes in all sorts of weird and wonderful directions! Well done guys!
Ok - where do I start with the constant poleing...
Fave sexual position totally depends on if it's a quick "God I gotta have you right NOW and I don't care where we are" f**k or a long, slow session of lovemaking.
For the former, doggy works well whereas the latter gives you time to move around and change it up.. it's all good!

Nope, not at all. I mean, once in a while I'll get a rogue seam but I just adjust. I feel that underwear are far more uncomfortable. They squish my fat and just aren't flattering, in my opinion. No matter what the style. I mean, obviously, they're flattering on some people. But I don't think they are on me. It's a lot easier to wear low rise pants without having to worry about underwear.

I've always been kind of curious about people who walk around their homes naked. I do it if I need to grab something before I get in the shower, or something like that. But just to *hang out* naked would feel so weird. I also don't like to sleep naked, though I know a lot of people do.

In the winter, I'm pretty cheap with the thermostat, so I'm always bundled up. But when it's 80 out, lookout! Let's just say I have very, very, very, faint tan lines, during the summer! The beauty of working nights, and living in the country, with a pool. A couple glasses of wine, while floating around, letting the sun bake me. On the topic of casual nudity: I don't at all mind being naked when I'm on my own (i.e. before/after a shower) or with somebody I'm in a relationship with.. But I don't walk around naked. Regarding nakedness: I love sleeping naked but any other time, I'm not a fan. If I'm in my bed, under the covers, I'm great. But being in the open air kinda weirds me out. I especially don't like walking around naked, even if in my own bedroom.

My parents were forever naked around me when I was a kid. We'd always end up at the nude beach across the lake from our house every weekend, too. As a kid, I *HATED* the whole nudity thing. As an adult, I realize it was probably not a bad thing. I'm extremely comfortable in my own skin and with my body. I may have a weird name, be freakishly tall, have red hair, and totally lack pigment... but I rock what I got! :D

Warm Mineral Springs in North Port a few minutes below Sarasota is a popular gathering spot for older people who come from all over the country to bask in the constant 87 degree water year round. Excerpt:
http://i1229.photobucket.com/albums/ee466/fringedNfab/WarmMinSprings.gif
Warm Mineral Springs
The Springs is the only warm mineral spring in Florida. It's water has the highest mineral content of any warm springs in the world, even more than the famous spas in Vichy and Aix les Bains in France, Baden Baden in Germany and the Hot Springs in Arkansas.
Warm Mineral Springs is a water-filled, hourglass shaped sinkhole. It is about 80 yards in diameter and 230 feet deep where warm, heavily mineralized water enters from regions far below. Years ago it was developed into a spa. Now, visitors come from around the world to soak in its rejuvenating water.
The Spring's 87 degree water can provide relief for muscular problems, arthritis and rheumatism. A curiosity of The Springs is the the water contains no dissolved oxygen, except at a layer 15 or 20 feet thick at the surface, where some garfish and a few minnows manage to live.
Anything organic that gets into The Springs will stay as is it for an exceedingly long time, or until some human researcher finds it.
Some say The Springs was the spot Ponce de Leon searched for, fought for and died for, believing that here, indeed, was the Fountain of Youth.

You get no sympathy here from someone in the UK where's it's never hot enough to have a pool!
I open mine on May 1st, and usually leave it open until Oct 1st. But it's usually only warm enough to swim(I'm cold natured, and I like it HOT - my friends joke that I have the world's biggest hot tub, because I keep it that warm), at least for me, from the end of May, until mid-September.
I really am going to try to not have 30 people a night, at my house. Last year's parties were rock star out of control. And NO ONE under 21, this year, either(no, I never invited them, but I'm too nice to throw people out).
Lord, if you'd seen how much booze we went through. Sometimes 2-3 1.75 litres of vodka and whiskey, a night!
It was so hot last summer, and I had ~the~ place to be, nearly every night. Pics from my pool, were on FB, of nearly everyone in my town. And while I'm generally a modest person, after 8 whiskey cokes, and someone yells, "suits off!!!", I just go with the flow. We did all observe the rule of, "no penetration in the pool". Seriously. It was close to that a few times, and we all decided that that was crossing the line, even though we were all drunk and naked.

It was close to that a few times, and we all decided that that was crossing the line, even though we were all drunk and naked.
Take the pool sex, to the pool table!:wavey:

Sure. Although they were never planned. Rarely, anyway. We'd all be out clubbing, and a couple of friends would ask if they could come swimming, and of course I'd say okay. They'd ask a couple of friends, who'd ask another couple of friends, and it just snowballed out of control.
Finally, at the tail end, some booze was stolen, and I sort of put the clamps down a little. And then an orgy of sorts happened, and the summer ended less than ideally.
It was really strange, because I wasn't me. I'm not the most social person, and I'd never see myself having "rock star" parties, but I metamorphosed, into this Mick Fleetwood character. Really. When the dust settled, I CRAVED having those 30 people at my house every night. It took me a couple of months, to become the old me, again. My girlfriend from high school was asking me about the parties, after seeing the pictures on my FB, and she's the one who said, "it's like you're a rock star, now, with these awesome parties". And it sort of felt like that, too....
I feel very anxious now. Both eager with anticipation, and apprehensive with worry, about how far things might go, this summer.

Oh, it's definitely normal for women to share that with other women, and especially in this situation, she kind of does need to know. She's on birth control. It shouldn't be moving. So when her schedule gets strange, she's got to find out why.
Also, I think it's funny that we can talk about pooping without issue, but talking about another totally natural body process is gross.

Yup! It's actually sometimes called the Wellesley effect, which is funny situationally here  Apparently a girl who went here was involved in figuring it out. One of the explanations for why we may have evolved to do this is that it was a way for women to be better able to care for each other's children way back in the day. If women were getting pregnant at the same time, they would be able to nurse the babies of their friends in times of need/trouble/etc. It's a pretty cool effect. What's weird about me and my friend is that her body should already believe it IS pregnant from her bc. My schedule shouldn't matter.

Talking about poop and such from the anonymity of the interwebs is one thing, but it's another thing to just talk about it openly with your co-habitants. I think that's yucky too. It would be enough to make me cover my ears and go "blah, blah, blah, blah..."
Back on topic, I was under the impression that a vast majority of pre-menopausal women were on some kind of birth control pill just to diminish or avoid the adverse symptoms of monthly menstruation, if nothing else. I think the only reason King of Queens was as popular as it was, was thanks to Jerry Stiller.
Just like Frank Barone, everyone loves the "grumpy, crazy, old bastard".

The strangest place I've ever seen people naked, is a parking garage here. Now, I'm the king of curiosity, and one night, I just thought, "ya know, I've never driven to the top of this thing"(especially since I hate heights). Good one!! Obviously I'm the one who goes to nude beaches. I've also been to clothing optional resorts in Key West. I don't just walk around nude at the resorts, tho... but I do skinny dip.
Let's see... I've also been naked in quite a few strange places. One of my friends in South Carolina lives way out in the country, and I've laid out on a blanket naked in his back field looking at the stars at night. Yes, alcohol was involved.
My parents live on a very secluded lake in North Carolina, and I've taken the family boat out before with various guys I've dated and have actually driven the boat in the nude.
There is a super remote place in the North Carolina mountains called Wiseman's View... I've sat on the edge of a cliff there in the buff. There's something cleansing about being nude in a beautiful, remote place! :D

I can't stand the feel of regular sheets now. I want new bedroom furniture, with a bigger bed, but I've got so many sets of full size flannels, that I'm waiting for them to wear out, to make the change.
Oh, believe me, the first night they showed up, I WAS PISSED. Who the fukc invited THEM? They were 18 and 19.
Unfortunately, we hit it off, big time. Besties, almost immediately. So we made the deal that they could come, as long as they spent the night(in another bedroom). They were not allowed to leave, if they drank. But then their friends were starting showing up, and it just got to be too much. And you can't explain to an 18yo, who has no job, or anything, how I could lose EVERYTHING. They just don't understand.
And since this is TMI...they were the ones who INSTIGATED the orgy. Then pissy and in denial, the next day. Things got ugly. We have since buried the hatchet, and they've asked if they can come party here, but I've made excuses, every time they've asked.

She's definitely taking them correctly-- she's neurotic haha. Alarm set, pill in hand, every day at three (just watched it happen as always haha.) A higher dose could be totally applicable, but she's told her gyno about this (she's in a monogamous relationship, so the pill being effective is CRUCIAL, and when she first started noticing this happening, she was really freaked out) and her doctor claims that as long as it's just the spotting because of mine, she's still fine. Her reaction is just always SO funny. My personal favorite response of hers was after the gyno explained the "it's to help out in a tribe based child rearing way" and my roommate reported it back to me and added, "So this makes sense. Something in my body understands that you would just pop out a baby and then be like 'K. Done. Raise it for me, please?"

If someone files a lawsuit, they'll be looking to get money wherever they can. And the orgy stuff? What if they're "being pissy" morped into someone claiming they were raped?
More than likely, those young people are using you for a cool place to hang out and free booze. The sure sign of people who are not good friends are those that will come to your place every night, eat and drink and never reciprocate or offer to bring anything.
Figure out who your true friends are and have them over. Then you won't have to stress about any of the above.

Agreed. I instantly knew all the risks, and hated that I was put into that position. I will definitely lay some ground rules, this year. I don't wanna be Mick Fleetwood, again.
Hey, Cammie, let me ax you this? My friend and I were discussing the liability issue, the other day.
If one makes a party BYOB, does that reduce the liability for the host? I would certainly think so.

Nope... if the cops show up, it'd be next to impossible to prove you weren't furnishing alcohol to minors. They could slap you with some random offense too like endangering a minor. I wouldn't play with the kiddies anymore if I were you. :wavey:

I'm not necessarily talking about minors. People in general. If they BTOB, and get arrested after leaving, does the fact that they got themselves drunk, with their own booze, lessen the liability on my end?
I would think the fact that I only provided a pool, and no liquor, would free me of liability, unless they were OBVIOUSLY drunk, when leaving.

That's really strange-- I'm on birth control and I could be surrounded by 50 menstruating women and be unaffected.

I know people will come through.
Also, weirdest place everyone has had sex (if it's different?)
Mine's on the Wellesley bus that runs between my school and Harvard/MIT. People call it the f*ck truck for what they assume to be the obvious reason a Wellesley girl would GO to Harvard/MIT. I decided I needed to reclaim the term by making it literal. I've managed to pull this off twice so far.
This is EXACTLY why we are friends Marissa.

Yep, this year's rule is - absolutely NO ONE under 21. I will be 100% clear, on this. No exceptions.
Yeah. Just say no, dude.

Well, first let me just preface this by saying that I am in no way providing legal advice, just a friendly opinion.
I'm not necessarily saying that someone would win a lawsuit if they filed one against Dave. But people file ill-fated lawsuits every day and, even if they lose, it still costs the person being sued time, money and stress.
This mostly applies to bars and is known as the Dram Shop rule. A person is drinking at a bar, is obviously drunk and keeps getting served and over-served. Said person then gets in their car and kills someone in a car accident on their way home. The bar can be sued by the family of the person killed. So, not only will the driver be sued, but the bar will be too. People have won suits like that before.
So, I'm not saying it applies to a private party like it would to a bar. However, if one of his guests got wasted, got in their car and killed someone, it wouldn't be a stretch for Dave to be named in the lawsuit. Particulary if the person who caused the accident was a kid with minimal limits on their car insurance policy and no assets to speak of. The injured party gets wind that the person was partying at Dave's house, someone does a little research and finds out Dave owns his home and a few others, and all of a sudden he and his homeowners carrier are named in the suit. He might be dismissed on Summary Judgment, or he might be in it til the end and found not liable. Either way, a lot of stress that could have been avoided. **** happens but there are ways to minimize the potential.

Just be careful... like you said, 18-20 year old kids have zero depth of understanding of consequences. That means if they're caught doing something illegal, they'd throw you under the bus to save themselves faster than you can say "orgy."
I know you like the pretty young thangs... but up the age of folks you hang out with by just a couple of years. Trust, it'll make your life much easier, more enjoyable, and less stressful.

What I don't get about these parties is why. Why would people around the age of 18 want to go party at someone's house who is so much older than them? Maybe I'm just odd but I'd rather party at a friend's empty house or a booked venue.

I can see both sides of this. Back when I was 18-19 I ended up in a rather vulnerable situation at an older friends house. There was a lot of booze and more and just generally a lot of s**t goin on. Luckily I got myself out of it before things got out of hand but afterwards when things did go bad I wanted no part of it and could have easily done exactly what louie has saidl. Some bad stuff happened that night.
That said, what Georgie said is true. Rather than telling all to others I just kept quiet and said nothing - partly to protect people who were there and partly because I did not want to discuss it.

My apologies... I didn't mean to offend any younger Ledgies. Broad generalizations never help anyone, this is true. I should have said "most 18-20 year olds" lack a depth of understanding of consequences and actions. It's a simple fact the human brain isn't fully developed until about 24. Also, the young kids Homer is hanging out with are fresh out of high school and probably have never held a job, know nothing of accountability, etc.
It's just especially dangerous to party with younger folks in the US, as our drinking age is 21 here... and VERY strictly enforced. In my opinion, this does younger people no favors... it postpones growing up and learning to control yourself. It puts this huge taboo around drinking and glorifies bingeing. The US still very much has inner conflict between it's puritanical roots and being more realistic about human nature. For instance, you can join the military and die for your country at age 18 here... but you can't buy an alcoholic beverage until the age of 21. How f***ed up is that?!
Obviously not ALL younger people lack understanding of self control and consequences... but many DO. I thought I was better than that when I was younger myself... but I look back on the stupid, stupid stuff I did when I was younger and just kick myself now. Drinking and driving, having unprotected sex, stuff like that. I started out with such high aims for myself, but it's pretty easy to get snowballed into doing dumb sh!t.

I agree 100% with each of these points - especially the highlighted part. Similarly in the UK, you can't drink until 18 but can marry and join the army (big, life altering decisions) at 16. I'm not saying the drinking age should be lowered (far from it) but perhaps the others should be brought in line with this. It just makes no sense.

Okay, some are way more mature than others, at 18 or so. Some do "get it".
Yes, allowing 18yo's(whether I invited them or not) to the parties, showed a huge lapse in judgment(although I can't imagine how ugly it would've been, me telling my friend that he had to take his minors away). It won't happen again.
And I fully realize(I did then, too), that half of those people weren't my friends, and were using me, for my great party house. Honestly, it was like I was the most popular guy in my town. I never wanted to be the most popular guy in town! But it felt good, and I can admit that. It felt good to be the center of attention. Like I said, when it all ended, I SERIOUSLY CRAVED having those 30 people at my house every night. For 3 months, it was like I was living a fantasy life. Someone else's life.

My dad owned a bar for years. Got sued by a regular who he considered a friend. The guy was drunk & fell off his barstool, injuring himself (I don't even remember what the injury was, but it was NOT serious.) He got money for it. :distress:
He was sued at least 3 times for someone who left the bar & later got arrested for a DWI or into an accident. Thrown out every time since it was proven these people went to OTHER bars or parties after my dad's place. Still, time, stress & $$$ spent. :(

My MAIN point of being curious, again, is:
If a person makes their party BYOB, does that lessen their liability? I would think so, or at least hope so. If I didn't serve them, and they weren't visibly intoxicated.....
Yep, I'm going to definitely crack down with some major rules, this year. Feels like I dodged a whole shooting gallery, last year!

I've not read everyones entire posts on the subject, but why would adults want to party with minors anyway? Not that all minors are out of control or not fit to hang around for fear of getting yourselves in danger legally, but adults have to be careful what they set themselves up for. Not to make anyone feel bad on the board whos underage, but when they're our ages they will better understand all this and why it has to be. I think most people if you're 30 wouldn't have a thing in common with a bunch of 16 year olds anyway. Again, not to make the young ones feel unwanted on here, it's just you'll see what we mean when you're our age.

Ah, this thread's gotten so big, that I missed it!
You're right. Proving it could be tough....or maybe not. If 10 people said, "no, the party was BYOB, David didn't give anyone anything", I can't see them having much of a leg to stand on.
And yes, even friends will throw you under the bus, when it comes to big money lawsuits. But I can't see the ones who wouldn't benefit financially, doing so.

It was great for him in the 80's. But about 10 years ago things got bad - it's not an easy business. They banned smoking in bars here (I don't care what anyone says - that did HURT business), prices of everything went up, the NYS Liquor Authority increased fees, etc. He eventually lost everything. :distress:

True dat.Same here. Even though I love the no smoking! Quite literally, half of the small bars that my band played in, 10 years ago, are no longer in business. The small places just can't survive, anymore.
AND, the ones that had bands, many of those have replaced the bands with karaoke, because it's 1/3 the price of hiring a band.
Owning a small bar these days, is a sketchy business proposition.

Here's another TMI sex question: Anything you won't do sexually? Or prefer not to?
Absolutely not, no way in hell:
- Fisting
- Anything involving urine, feces, blood, or vomit
- Ingesting of ejaculatory fluids
- Spanking/hitting/violence
- Wearing leather or "furry" suits or whatever
- I will not put my penis in any sort of pump or device
- Slings/handcuffs/weird contraptions
And I'm sure there are other weird/gross things that I've never even heard of, and would like to keep it that way.

I wouldn't like roleplaying as a member of the Beatles or having a carrot stuck up my bum
Anything else sounds A-OK though

I'm not very adventurous sexually . Not at all. I once tasted cum.....yea never again. I'm very conservative in bed.

Does your parnter mind that you won't swallow?

Ha. That's pretty specific. What about a member of the Stones, or a cucumber?
I won't do anal.
I also am not into pee/poo/vomit/blood (I wouldn't have even thought to mention it if Markolas hadn't.)
Nothing painful or violent

Stones roleplay could be nice. As could a cucumber. Not both at the same time though

If it feels good, and it's not gross (cum's fine, your other bodily fluids are not), I'm pretty game. I'm not into pain, so if you're hurting me, I'm telling you to stop. But yeah, other than that, I'm pretty open-minded.

No blood or poo. Those things are best left inside the body, or where I don't have to witness either!!!
A little spanking can be hot, but nothing more than light. I've tried using handcuffs, but there was fear(even though there shouldn't have been - we'd known each other for about 3 years), so it ended up not being hot, like I hoped.

Anal used to freak the sh*t out of me but now I love it.
Other than that... we're on the exact same page. I have a secret fantasy to be tied up and later do the tying. I'm workin' on it.

I'm sure you weren't aiming for the double meaning in that quote, but it made me giggle anyway . I didn't realize you'd gone down the anal road!

This is pretty much my mantra too.

With the exception of the cum thing (sorry, I just think it's gross), that's pretty much what I said, only more general. I am pretty vanilla, tho.

I wouldn't really say I'm vanilla. I'm down for a good role play, some light bondage, that sort of thing, any day of the week. It's just really all about the pleasure > pain thing. Argh, I do miss having a consistent partner to play with.

I'm with everyone on the no pee/poop/blood thing. I'm also not into violence.
Other than that, I'm game to try anything once. What's the harm?

But it's 150....?
I don't like to talk about poo, I don't like to think about poo, I don't want to see poo, I don't want to feel poo, I don't like to smell poo.

Depends on your settings regarding how many posts you want to view per page. My settings show this thread only has 38 pages :)

You say that, yet you bring up poo and your dislike of poo conversation again and again. Something Freudian trying to slip out?

No, not that he's ever expressed. He's not much into that either, but it doesn't completely squick him out like it does me.

Mines set to Forum Default and showing 100 too. I've no problem leaving things the way they're set up, works fine for me.
If I'm correct that's showing 15 posts per page and easy to keep up with and read. 50 per page would seem too overwhelming for me.
