again, strange. just seems to me if I got on with someone and we both enjoyed discussing sexual adventures on a daily, IMO it would make sense to email, note or whatevs. that was my reasoning behind my initial question, is there some 'gettingoff' transpiring with the pubic display of such? that's all, really. just wondering.

if you people want a real TMI thread, i wish we could dig up the old PERVS thread. that was so much more than "grandpappy bit me," and "sophomore sally is great in the sack."
Right - go for it. I was keeping it pretty tame because I could see Moderators may have an issue.

I don't think that questioning the "motives" behind posters on this thread is really relevant or fully appropriate. The thread has gotten the clear from Jannie for now and that should be enough for the conversation to continue as it was before.

really, think of the children.
 I'd just as soon the whole board be 18+.
I don't like the think of the children argument. I'm not going to miraculously wake up on my 18th Birthday (in 5/6 months) and shout "YES I AM AN ADULT I CAN TALK ABOUT SEX!" or wake up to a whole host of knowledge that was bestowed on me at 4.30am exactly 18 years after I was born.
Also, boundaries are blurred between countries. In the UK, 16 is the age of consent so does that mean 16 y/o UK Ledgies aren't classed as children in *this* department but US Ledgies have to wait an extra two years?

i'm not sure i "keep bringing it up." the truly pervy people are not around anymore (strand, etc), and if the lame dialogue in this thread led to a warning a while back, we'd never get anywhere with pervs pt II.
at any rate, one can't "lead the charge" when it comes to joking about masturbating with tweezers, ball gags, felching, snowballs, etc. it has to happen organically, much like a family orgy.
That would reinforce my faith in cycles.

That looks...scary. A lot of these toys look like medieval torture devices to me. I was at my bf's mom's house one night and had one of those sex toy infomercials on at 2am...they had this contraption that looked like a blender with a pump that you apparently stick your wang in.

Does it ever fall out if you run to catch an elevator, a train, a bus, for any reason?
And, what if you're on a rollercoaster, and sometimes they go upside down? If it fell out, would it fly up to your neck after it fell down to your ankles?
You can get toxic schock if you forget to take it out? Dang. Do you pull the string to take it out? Why a string and not a small, thin handle? What if the string breaks? Can you attach another string from an unused one, but then what do you do with the one with no string?
I guess you can go into a swimming pool with them, I seem to remember television commercials that said you could swim, play tennis, go bowling, horseback riding. But wouldn't high tide at the ocean definitely knock it out? .
i'm just now painstakingly moving through this thread but i had to go ahead and comment.
i don't know who you've been sleeping with but typically the vag is pretty tight. if a woman's tampon is falling out because she went horseback riding, someone needs to do their kegels.

Vaginas have always fascinated me, even though I'm gay. I once had a girl friend liken them to an accordion... that's why they're so compact/tight when not in use, and how they return to their original shape after pushing out a 10 pound baby.

True. Funny story of my childhood:
A family friend and I once decided to try "having sex." We were only 7 or 8 at the time and vacationing together at his family's lake house. Needless to say, we had absolutely no idea what sex was so we basically just grinded on each other while naked and high-fived: "yay! We just had sex!" I told a few of my friends about it and eventually, the entire third grade knew  I was the Saint Andrew's Elementary School slut for the next two years.

It's interesting... both you and I are self-professed highly sexed guys... but both of us were relatively late in becoming sexually active. I was 19, nearly 20 when I finally started having sex as well. I just wasn't mentally ready before then, and I knew it.

We really are so much alike, Louie.
Okay, I was 19. I'd gone out with my cousin, her boyfriend, and her best friend(who I'd known since I was 9). Well, we got drunk. REALLY drunk. I'd even thrown up. "Theresa" was hitting on me, rubbing my crotch and whatnot. I was so scared. Well, we get back to my cousin's house, and she says(she was as guilty of Theresa laying me, as Theresa was),"you're driving Theresa home". Which was waaaaay out of my way, and of course I was too drunk to be driving anywhere! Well, I drove about 3 miles, and she ordered me to pull off the road, onto a gravel side road, so that she could pee. Well, I drove a 4x4 Jeep, with a lift kit. The gravel road literally went through a creekbed. I parked in the middle of the creek(I don't remember if she pee'd, or not). I'm really sketchy now, on details. I only remember that she had my pants down, and was going down on me. All I remember is that we got into the back seat(which on a CJ5, was about 3 FEET long, not nearly enough room), and me climbing on, and fukcing her. I DO remember being freaked out, because even though she was only 20, she had a baby, that was about a year old. I kept thinking, "wow, a baby came out of here". I remember wanting to go down on her(to see what it was like), but I was really freaking out, about the baby thing! I also remember, mid coitus, apologizing for my mouth probably tasting like vomit!:wavey: I came in her, and drove her home, and finally got myself home! I remember praying that I didn't get her pregnant!
So, I'm glad I did it, even though I really wasn't offered a choice in the matter(I remember being too afraid to do it, but was TERRIFIED that she'd tell my cousin, that I was afraid to do it). Oh yeah, none of them knew that I was a virgin....I've always came off as a reasonably cool guy, so they just assumed that I had experience!:o

Just to pick your mind, if Homer had instead been a woman, would that have changed the story? If it had been a man who had pulled a woman's pants down without her permission, and started performing sex acts on her? I'm just being devil's advocate here, mind you.

if the story had begun with her choosing to drive drunk with someone who had been grabbing her and making her feel "scared," i'd say she was full of sh*t, too.

I was 19.
Another member of the "late bloomer" club checking in.... I had just turned 19. In high school, I was one of those "everything but sex" girls. It wasn't because I was being a tease; it was honestly because I wasn't interested in having sex with them. I went to a really small high school (fewer than 300 kids), and I was either friends with the guys or hated them.
My first time, though, was a total nightmare. The guy lasted about 30 seconds, and I said something to the effect of, "That's it?" And then he threw me out on my ass.

This makes 3 of us. I was a late bloomer in the extreme, lol. Even though I lost my virginity at 15 (on my lunch hour from school, on my parents sofa) it was a long time before much else happened after that and before I was comfortable. The next time I had sex I was 19.
Now, if I'm single at the time (which is most of the time lately), any chance I get I'll go for it! Seems to have been especially like that lkately, although opportunities have been few and far between. The thing is, you're never as attractive to other wmoen when you're single. Seriously, get a girlfriend and you could get soooo much. Damnit!

I have never understood this... it's exactly the same for gay men. I always have people coming out of the woodwork once I start dating somebody. I chalk it up to the fact people must be less threatened to approach you as they no longer have any fear of rejection since they know you're off the market anyway. It's annoying as hell!

Vaginas have always fascinated me, even though I'm gay. I once had a girl friend liken them to an accordion... that's why they're so compact/tight when not in use, and how they return to their original shape after pushing out a 10 pound baby.
I have a gay male friend who yes, says he's terrified of them too. According to him, the reason for this is that "you can't see in thwere and the whole inside thing freaks me out". I don't know what he imagines is in there....!!!
You know me so well! I've really thought about it in the past just to quell the curiosity. It's not that I have a hetero, ahem, BONE in my body... but when I become curious about something, I simply must have answers . I think I'm the only of my gay friends who never had sex with a woman in their youth, too. Which is so funny, considering how some of my buddies are giant queens :p.
If you ever do this, although I'm guessing the time for that has passed for you, feel free to share it here with us!

Hell yeah, it really p***es me off! Put it this way, at the moment I'm considering going out a few nights with a friend of mine and saying she's my girlfriend to see what I can get! She's ok with me cheating on her - haha! I was fine before a couple of weeks ago when I finally got some after a loooong time, but now it's almosty like remembering what I'd been missing!
By the way, I've been told by many friends that one of the reasons for my late bloomer status was that everyone thought I was gay. Seriously, from 16-20 I was asked that questions constantly. Now of course you're really sensitive at 16-18 and it used to irritate the Hell outta me but of course I grew up and got over that. However, only once did I manage the "make them feel less threatened and then strike" lay - haha!

I can't decide who to quote, you, or Dodfather. I don't necessarily know , which is true.....but I can tell you, that JUST BEING CONFIDENT, and believing in yourself(and btw, not being a hatefilled, bitter, c*nt), will get you everywhere, without even trying. I beat them off with a baseball bat, now. And I do nothing, other than being a nice guy.... What's different, from a couple of years ago? Just believing in myself. That's all it takes. It's not about anything else. Just be a good person, and be confident, and respectful, and it will all come back to you. Gawd, it took me a lifetime, to find out what it was all about!:o But again, just being confident, in that YOU'RE a good, loving, giving person, will shine through. Believe in yourself. Let yourself shine through. Oh yeah, and don't be a c*nt. Being a c*nt will make legions of people hate you(even if it's in hiding, because they fear your c*ntish wrath!). That's not a good thing to be. If I'm ever a c*nt, I pray that that fake god(lower case!), that I don't believe in, strikes me dead!:blob2:

You know that's not actually true though, right? In itself, being a nice guy makes no difference - it's incidental. You only have to look at all the a$$holes out there with nice girlfriends. Whatever the reason for your success, it's beyond being a good person or being respectful. One guy I know who beats the cr@p out of his girlfriend every so often would agree with me. Maybe it's his six-figure salary that tips the balance - that's what she says anyway. If you were ugly and poor, you could be as nice as you like - nothing comes back to you at all. Anytime I get anywhere, it has nothing to do with being nice. In fact it usually gets in the way.

I'm not 100% sure of the perfect combination. But 18 months ago, I was 100% INSECURE. Now, I've got game. I now believe in ME. And that comes through. Confidence is a turn on.
Want to know the funniest thing that changed? So as I first got game, I started dating these young ones, who.....well.....they (personally) had no future. I'm not trying to be mean. They were hot looking, but often had no job, or future. Now, I'm dating a 24yo PhD student, and had a 25yo law school student, ask me out on Monday. Somehow, I managed to step up the class of people I date(I hate saying that, because I don't care about money. But I do care about being with someone, who's self-sufficient. I wanna be their boyfriend, not their daddy:laugh:). Again, I think confidence(not to be confused with cockiness) is everything.

I do agree, too, that being the "nice guy", scares them off. People like being treated like sh*t. And when you're a loving, giving person, that does tend to scare them off. I've had it happen, many times!:o
So my advice is to get straight to the booty! Because if you can make that happen, hopefully they can overlook the fact, that you're a nice guy!:D

I was 19.
And basically raped, even then.
Although at about age 6, the neighbors opened the garage door, to find me having their 6yo daughter, spread wide open, on the lawn tractor's hood.
Hey, it was the first one I'd ever seen, and I wanted a really good look!
I'm sorry David, but I find your use of the term rape to describe your encounter as offensive. She may have thrown herself at you but that's not rape.
First of all, if you were afraid of her, you had every opportunity to not give her a ride home. Or, at the very least, ditch her when she got out of your car to take a piss.
Second, I didn't see any reference to threats from her to you if you didn't have sex with her.
Third, if you were under force or duress, could you really have gotten it up, mounted her, and got off?
Believe me, I'm not some nazi feminist, but I don't think rape is a term to be thrown around lightly. I can't even begin to imagine how difficult it must be to deal with having been raped.

All I can say, Cammie, is that I didn't want to do it. I didn't want to drive. I didn't want to drive her home. I didn't want to be in that situation.
My cousin was as guilty as she was, of making this happen.

I hope you can see, that I went through with it, because I felt my reputation as a guy, depended on it. If it weren't with someone I knew, I absolutely would have said no. But I couldn't let myself be branded, as a pussy. Yeah, I care about what people think about me.:sorry:

Surely the only 'guilty' people with regards to your partaking of a mutually consensual sexual act are yourself and the person you're having sex with.
Your cousin may have goaded you into feeling you had to sleep with this girl, but you are an autonomous human being (presumably with adequate mental faculties ;)) and therefore your choices are your own. Especially considering you were apparently the one on top!
It's fair enough to regret losing your virginity if it was under less than perfect circumstances, but blaming somebody else for your own regrettable choice isn't the way to make yourself feel better about it :) and branding the act as 'rape' is, I agree, quite extreme and inconsiderate.

I think I look fine either as a man or a woman when I want to. I'm just throwing this out there because some people ask sometimes what I've done if anything. Nothing.
What do you mean?

Just how some drag queens go to extremes through hormones and surgeries to look female/become fully female. It all comes down to what your comfortable with within your body though, I know. Was just saying I feel fine with (me) and what I have always had naturally :)

Meaning? You've seen cases of this?
Sorry, I wasn't online this past weekend. This was about tampons being stuck right? Yeah, it happens. Girls forget there's already one in there & shove another in & then can't get it out. Or they forget it's in there & have sex with it in.
Barf. I don't know HOW they can't feel there's one there, but it happens. Removal (which I am NOT involved in) is not fun for the health care provider, obviously.
I first participated in "oral activity" when I was around 13 but I lost my virginity at 16, and I had friends who thought THAT was risque.
I've heard that kids these days (not you necessarily) go for oral first, as a way to avoid pregnancy (true) and STI's (not true) and also to "preserve" their virginity (bull****, IMO.) In my day (what am I, 90 years old?) sex was almost always first, because oral was scarier - everyone thought oral was gross when we were younger.
I was so scared!
Was she Canadian, by any chance?
Thanks for sharing your story, but you weren't raped dude. Unless she got you drunk & she stayed sober in order to take advantage of you in an altered state, or she threatened you - you weren't raped.
Just to pick your mind, if Homer had instead been a woman, would that have changed the story? If it had been a man who had pulled a woman's pants down without her permission, and started performing sex acts on her? I'm just being devil's advocate here, mind you.
If she said no or tried to stop him at any time, then it's rape. If a woman had purposely gotten on top of a dude & banged him without being coerced/forced/threatened by him? Not rape.
I don't believe that Homie told her to stop at any point? Unless I missed it.
My first time, though, was a total nightmare. The guy lasted about 30 seconds, and I said something to the effect of, "That's it?" And then he threw me out on my ass.
HA! I don't mean to laugh at your experience; I'm laughing at your comment to him.
All I can say, Cammie, is that I didn't want to do it. I didn't want to drive. I didn't want to drive her home. I didn't want to be in that situation.
My cousin was as guilty as she was, of making this happen.
Know what? I'm a guy. I'm not supposed to be some pussy. I wasn't going to have her telling my GIGANTIC mouthed cousin, that I was too afraid to do it. My ego couldn't take that, and I couldn't let that happen. I also have a hard time telling people "no". I always have. It was a no win situation for me.
I hope you can see, that I went through with it, because I felt my reputation as a guy, depended on it. If it weren't with someone I knew, I absolutely would have said no. But I couldn't let myself be branded, as a pussy. Yeah, I care about what people think about me.:sorry:
You could, have said, no, but you didn't want them, to think you, were a pussy? Yeah, that must have been a horrific experience for you.
It's fair enough to regret losing your virginity if it was under less than perfect circumstances, but blaming somebody else for your own regrettable choice isn't the way to make yourself feel better about it :) and branding the act as 'rape' is, I agree, quite extreme and inconsiderate.
In other TMI news: My womanly organs are causing me a considerable amount of pain and I'm on the verge of punching the next person who ventures into my line of sight :D
Exactly.
And bummer about your monthly. I used to get horrific cramps (nausea, vomiting, mild fever, intense pain unrelieved my medication.) The pill solved that for me.
Who has better tits: Jazmen Flowers or AManda LePore or ____? Trick Question? Maybe.
What makes a good rack, in your opinion?
Weird comparison. Why those 2 people?
Pardon the ignorance, but is there any other way to have them without being "enhanced"?? :D

Re: woman raping a man. It's rare, but it can happen. I found this on a sexual assault survivor's website:
Myth: Adult men cannot be sexually assaulted by women.Reality: Although the majority of reported perpetrators are male, (97 to 98%), women can, and do, also sexually assault men but is seldom reported... not that many males feel safe reporting rape anyway.
If you include emotional blackmail as a way of giving the victim no choice, then the number greatly increases. Also don't think that if a woman rapes you that you have to penetrate her, there are such things as vibrators that she can use on you as well.
If you think a female can not force a male to get an erection against his will, think again, you have little (to no) control over that part of your body with your will power.

I wasn't referring to child assault, I was referring to grown women trying to take advantage over grown men. I'm thinking if the prettiest sexiest woman has a grown man tied up against his will and he wants free, all of his attention and might and focus are going into getting himself free of the situation and he's going to be angrily pissed until he's free and the last thing he's going to be thinking about is sex or being excited. No matter what she's doing to him. The same if he weren't forced or tied up and just being taken advantage of anyplace. A car. A bedroom or any place else. A man's not getting excited unless he's into it. Which is why it's hard for most to understand female-male rape. I'm not talking about any persons situation on here, I'm just talking about some peoples views on it. I'm sure it's possible for women to violate men other ways under certain circumstances yes, as I've said before.
Edit: After thinking about this subject more, I could understand where a female might be able to violate a male or take advantage of him against his will in situations where he was unable to defend himself e.g. held against his will or bound etc. and she took advantage of him say, orally or other means and him feel raped or violated... the more thought I put into it, the more I realized he could indeed feel raped or taken advantage of by a woman by other means than just intercourse. I think we usually view male rape as only occurring by another male and I could see where that's not always so at times.

Just as an FYI, there is a limit to the number of characters that can be contained in a thread title. I tried to put:
TMI Thread. Warning: contains discussion of ADULT issues including bodily functions, sexuality, and rape

I'm going to steer this thread in a slightly more amusing direction, since there is really nowhere else this topic fits:
Why do some people not understand the concept of air freshener after using the bathroom for certain unsavoury purposes? Especially when they are a guest in somebody else's house and the option is very clearly available to them. Is it simply ignorance of the olfactory assault they are imposing upon others, or do they genuinely not have any sense of propriety or embarrassment?

I agree, 100%. It should be for emergency use only. I could literally not run out of digits, counting the number of times I've poo'd in a public restroom. I need privacy, and let's not even mention thinking about the filthy toilet seat(thank god I get to pee standing up!!!).
Although my friend swears, that the commute to work, is what makes him have to go.

While we're on the subject of the bathroom, does anyone else struggle to tinkle if someone else can hear?
I have to either angle myself or shove a wad of loo roll down the loo to tinkle on so there's no sound :o

I don't tend to mind people hearing me wee  not if it's a public loo anyway. But if I'm at a friend's, or a guy's house (don't you hate that first awkward 'where's your loo?' question?!) I'm proud to say I've perfected the 'silent wee'! It involves a lot of kegel control and clever angling..!

Since we're on the subject, I wouldn't mind peeing if someone else was in earshot, everyone does it so I can't imagine anyone especially in a public bathroom seeing as that's what it's for being weirded out by it. I don't like using public bathrooms anyways (well the toilet part), I have a habit of fixing my hair so ya gotta do what ya gotta do. But luckily I've never gotten the urge to take a dump while out but now that I've said something when I go out this weekend I'll probably have cursed myself.

It's so awkward! Maybe I'm just the last of the great prudes, but I couldn't bear the thought of someone I was in a relationship with being anywhere near me whilst I was using the bathroom. It's just one of those things that make me cringe. Odd, since I'm very open about most things..

My new guy's bedroom and bathroom are connected by his closet. There are no doors between the toilet and the bedroom so if one person's in the bedroom, they have a great view of the toilet. I was trying to figure out how to avoid this problem for at least 20 minutes last night, haha.

This better?
Yeah, it will truly affect romantic & sexual relationships for the rest of their life. So damaging. EDIT: Not that a victim can't overcome it with therapy. It doesn't have to be permanent damage.
I updated the title of the thread (again!). You know how much I respect your opinion... if you have any better suggestions, please PM me (this goes for anyone who reads this thread). Sexuality, rape, bodily functions, etc are very delicate, touchy issues. However, I love the fact we can all discuss these things frankly and calmly here.
Anyway, carry on everyone! If anybody has any issues/concerns/suggestions regarding this thread, I will reiterate again to PM me and we'll discuss it. :)
Oh, for f*ck's sake. How much more warning can you possibly give people?!
I mean MY GAWD people, am I the only one, who can hold it until I get home? And if mine even smelled remotely that bad, there's no way in hell, that I'd unleash in a small bar, where 80% of the people know who I am, and that I was just in there!
I mean, fukc me with a chainsaw! Buy a cork, or something! I was terrified that stank was ON me, after just walking into it! I even walked a quick circle, before returning to the pool table, just to make sure it wasn't attached!
I couldn't tell you the last YEAR, that I #2'd in a public restroom. Hell, I couldn't tell you the last decade!
For some people, when they gotta go they really do gotta go. Irritable Bowel Syndrome comes to mind. I'm sure people are embarrassed enough without others bitching about them & making them feel awful.
While I can definitely appreciate the terror of inhaling someone else's stank, I must point out that bathrooms *were* made for this very thing.:nod:
Exactly.
Yes, I was in terror. So, would you stink up a public restroom, where everyone knows you? Maybe I'm just better at holding it, than most....I don't recall ever having to go, NOW(maybe with the exception of diarrhea < that spelling looks so wrong to me, but spell check says it's right).
Oh, I've had to GO NOW on occasion - and I do not have IBS, btw. It's not fun. It's not like I wanted to stink up a public bathroom that others need to use. I obviously would have preferred to go at home. But my need to go will trump my feeling bad about you having to smell it for a few minutes every time.
I'm more concerned about germs & such in a public restroom, even though chances of actually catching anything from a toilet are slim to none. The doorknobs are the worst. :distress:
Well, I think there's nothing more obnoxious than walking into work in the morning and having your eyeballs melt from the stench in the bathroom. I mean, you just got into work. Perhaps that says something about your own habits! I guess everyone is different with respect to this particular bodily function, but I guess I'm not the type of person who goes only when the need to laxate is urgent. For practical purposes, I take care of business, sometimes pre-emptively, at an appropriate time/place, like clockwork. I would be horrified to be going about my day constantly worrying about having to, uh, drop the kids off at the pool at some point. If you eat a halfway decent diet and you are healthy, you should be able to establish some kind of a set daily routine for this. If you're not going at least once or twice a day at the same time(s) every day, then perhaps one should evaluate one's diet and/or look into dietary supplements. You really should not be carrying that stuff around for days at a time.

Kind of judgy there, Judy. ;) And going about your day "worried" that you might have to poop? Really? It's that big a deal?
For the record, I personally go once a day or every other day, at around the same time of day. My diet is well balanced, I'm at a healthy weight & I exercise 5-6 days a week. But once in a while, pooping has to happen at an inconvenient time or place. It just does.
Nobody is in complete control of their bowels & to imply that there's something wrong with people who don't go every day, at the same time of day like clockwork, is just silly. It doesn't mean that they are ill or unhealthy because they suddenly feel the urge to poop at the grocery store & don't think they can hold it til their shopping is done & they drive all the way home.
And pre-emptive pooping? Like, laxatives or enemas? Or do you just sit there for 20 minutes & force it out? That's not exactly healthy either - have fun with those hemorrhoids! :D Also, everyone's body is different. Some people go every 3 or 4 days - from what I understand, it's that's normal for them there's nothing wrong with it.
On that note, I would also like to add that I'm pretty much done going in like 2-3 minutes. I feel that if it takes you 20 minutes or more to push it out, maybe you weren't ready to go. :wavey:

I have to disagree with you about being in control of your bowels. You can control them to a certain extent. And you can train your body into adopting a precise rhythm (assuming that it doesn't have one naturally to begin with). And, no, if you rely on laxatives and enemas on a chronic basis, then there really is an issue that should be addressed at a dietary or medical level. And going every 3 or 4 days is not a good thing at all. If you laxate four or fewer times per week, you are technically constipated, which could have serious consequences if it is chronic, let alone being exquisitely uncomfortable.
And to further extrapolate this concept, I think if people cannot control this aspect of their lives, they are probably not in control of other aspects as well; I think it speaks volumes, uh, so-to-speak.

Your Honor, I agree, for the most part. I never feel like I HAVE to go, NOW! More like, "oh, when I get home, I might need to go". Other than diarrhea, it's never an emergency. Maybe the fact that I work in a club, with 40yo bathrooms, that are disgusting, has made me get in touch with my plumbing....training myself that "no way in hell, am I going into that disgusting stall!" I've worked there for 20 years, and I've never poo'd there one time!
My friend has IBS, and anxiety issues(I believe the two go hand in hand), and he's hates to leave the house, because he's always worried about where he'll have to poop. I can't imagine living like that!
On the doorknob issue...when I'm on vacation, or far away from home, I always keep a napkin, or piece of paper, in my back pocket, to use as a door knob shield, for those damned bathrooms that only have hand blowers.

1) Yes - to a certain extent. But you're implying that it's easy to decide when & where to **** all the time & that a person is weak or abnormal if they can't do that. Sometimes a person just has to GO! It does not mean there's anything abnormal about that person.

2) Since you have a friend w/IBS, I would think you'd be a bit more understanding when someone unintentionally offends you with their odor.

And that's why I adore this thread... I think it's important to talk about the things that make people uneasiest. Like I said earlier in this thread, it's astounding the degree humans go to hide and pretend this one particular bodily function does not exist. It's not like only really gross, skeezy people poo... we ALL do :p. Even Queen Elizabeth occasionally gets the trots
It's so funny, I was over at one of my other half's rich friends home for a fancy dinner party a few years back, and the subject of poo came up. Half of the people were revolted by the conversation, the other half were fascinated. Apparently you're medically supposed to have a BM after every meal. I'd never thought of that before, but I guess it's very true. My body is pretty much like clockwork like that, but I don't battle against the poo like many do!

Now don't be putting words in my mouth, Missy. I never used the terms "weak" or "abnormal." I just opined that it's a bodily function that can be controlled quite easily. Yes, every once in a while a person may need to go off-schedule. Sure, it happens. But I'm talking about people who do this almost every day. At my last job, I could walk into the bathroom and recognize instantly who was in there after one whiff; that's how frequently this particular individual chose to do this at work. Trust me, if your senses were assaulted like this day after day by the same individual, you would also find it highly offensive, to say the least.
I do feel sorry for sufferers of IBS, but that's more of a woman's problem. Chances are, if the repeat-offender is a man, he doesn't have IBS; he's just plain gross.

This is interesting. The person in question who drove me to begin this topic of conversation was a man, and I was incensed mainly because he seems to repeat the action every time he visits my house.
I wouldn't be so presumptuous as to say that it's broadly a male problem, but for comparison, my sister suffers from IBS and I can't even tell when she's been to the toilet  It's a running joke in the family that she's never taken a sh*t in her life  That, to me, is courtesy.
My original point was not 'How dare someone's sh*t stink!' - it was 'Why do some people not take the initiative to mask their odorous by-products when the opportunity is available to them?' I'd imagine it would be natural to be aware of the way you leave a room, especially if it isn't within your own home.

I'm too lazy to paste quotes, but this poo talk is too much! What if you don't have to go before work? What if you get somewhere and you have to go? That's what a bathroom is for! I really do relate to how awful it is to walk in a public bathroom and smell someone's lingering ****e but I still can't fault them because bathroom were invented for pooping and peeing. One enters a public bathroom at one's own risk.
Now, if I enter my office and realize someone crapped in the corner, I'm going to be angry.

You know how I told you I take 5 mile long walks? Well, at one point last year I was walking in the middle of a residential neighborhood and all of a sudden that feeling came over me. Probably the same feeling a pregnant woman feels when her water breaks. I knew my dump was coming real soon but what do I do? Where do I go? There are no stores anywhere near me and no woods to crawl into. What would you do Jannie?? In a panic I noticed someones open garage and into that sucker I went, crouched down in a corner and released that baby. It was so humiliating. Praying to God I wouldn't get caught and imagining those poor people getting into their car and smelling that sheet.
These days when I walk by that garage I notice they still have the door wide open...

Do you bathe on schedule? Do you brush your teeth on schedule? Does that make you uptight? how is evacuating oneself any different? There is a shower stall at work, but I'll be damned if I ever resort to using it on a daily basis.
No, no, and no it wouldn't if I did. That's because bathing and brushing your teeth are decisions that people make as and when they feel like doing those things. Bowel movements are decisions that your body makes by itself, when it feels the need. Trying to force your body into going at certain times can't be sensible.

For me, I really think what turned me into a germophobe, is that I've sang in a band, for sooo long now, that I'm so terrified of being sick, especially if it's a two night weekend. There's nothing worse than trying to get through 4 hours of singing, while sick. If it's two nights in a row, the 2nd night is truly a nightmare. So I know, that this is what trained me to avoid sick people, and shaking hands, and ink pens, yada, yada, yada..... Just read this. Wow. I would absolutely sooner s**t my pants than do that. I wouldn't even consider it, not in the most desperate circumstances. Interesting that you found it humiliating - imagine the poor ba**ard who found it and had to clean it up? Never mind about judgement - dude, you can't post stuff like that anywhere and expect people to say nothing. I don't know about the US, but if you'd got caught doing that here, you'd wind up with a record. Why didn't you just knock on doors and ask to use a bathroom? In a few minutes, you'd have found someone who would have let you.

You are allowed to own guns in the UK but they are heavily licenced. It's mainly farmers and members of the agricultural indistry who own shotguns. It's highly unusual to find a licensed gun in a residential property without any agricultural connection.

It's funny how the same laws don't apply to BB Guns and others that could actually cause damage. I don't think there's a Cat on my street with the correct number of eyes. Speaking of weaponry, the newsagents in town actually LEGALLY sells Crossbows and Samurai Swords, displaying them quite openly in the window. It's shocking. Especially considering our City's recently fallen prey to a murderer known as "The Crossbow Cannibal" (I wish that was as made up as it sounds), whose been linked to the death's of a handful of Prostitutes and could be linked to more murders. Well, all this talk about s**t and I just have to chime in. For the most part, I'm pretty regular. But there are times when I have to leave the house for work by 4 am. Yes, yes and yes. I would never think about doing that for one second. I would either find an out of the way tree or just s**t my pants and get home to mitigate the damage as soon as possible. And yes, if he had been caught, he definitely would have been arrested and faced some charges. Now, I can't say I would ever let a stranger in my house to use the bathroom, but someone might have.
IBS has no gender relation. Men can have this as much as women.

This reminds me of when I was about 8 and me and my best friend/next door neighbor were outside playing around in the street and in the neighbor's yards. Well we were 3 houses down from his house and he really had to poop, so me being the persuasive 8 year old that I was, convinced him to just poop in these peoples flower bed that was in their front yard. Which he did. And then ran home immediately to wipe his ass. Strangely, nobody ever caught us. We also once really needed to pee, so we peed outside in this little bucket I had and left it in my backyard and then all these big ass bugs got into it overnight and died and I showed it to him the next day and we both thought it was AWESOME so we took this bucket of piss into his kitchen to show his mom... she didn't agree with its awesomeness
