Someone could type in an advanced search under 'Images'-- 'piercing photo, teenager' and your own photo you just posted, could go anywhere. It is not something to be afraid of, but it is possible, and photos, once on the net, can be everywhere. So, it's not like The Ledge is an island. Funny anyone would think so.

I know! I wear street clothes 99% of the time, everyday. I have pics of me online in normal clothes over the years. I really don't look that much different, I'm just not in boots and a skirt and full makeup. I think people online just think of me being "Shane" regardless of what I'm in at the time. And that is the way it is in real life too, I'm still the same person and everything to people, talking the same, acting the same, I just have two different looks when I want to. I don't try to become Stevie in those clothes, I still stay myself, unlike some of the others who do the dress up. For me, what changes you is the way you feel in all that stuff. It's a gypsy-witchyness you wouldn't know unless you've dressed in it. Others who do, know what I'm talking about. Fully, 110% understood. I think I'm just really sick of this happening every freaking time I post on the Ledge, especially since 90% of the time it comes from people who I never actually talk to, and they do it in a very condescending way about really tiny things. I've been keeping my mouth shut about it for 2 years now and it's just gotten really old.

That being said, I'm sorry it escalated, especially with Bee who doesn't understand my sensitivity to this subject because she hasn't been around long enough to see how long it's been going on. I don't go vocalizing my thoughts on people I don't know's decisions (although I do so in my head frequently) and I'd like the same courtesy.

I never knew Texas had such hills. I always thought of the Gulf states as being rather flat like here. You don't get such pretty views of our state unless in tall buildings or an airplane.

Austin is in the Texas Hill Country. The Hill Country is big rolling hills formed by an ancient fault line. Huge vistas abound everywhere... we have short little trees and tall, almost mountainous hills. I was on top of Enchanted Rock in that pic... it's a 400 foot tall pink granite dome which is the remains of an old volcano. ChiliD, by any chance were you at Stevie's quite famous rain show a few years ago, at Jones Beach, I think it was in 2007, when there were floods for the first few songs, and it was bitterly cold, in June?
If you were there, did you get angry and yell at someone (not me) before the concert? If so, I was 2 or 3 rows in front of you, a blonde guy wringing my socks out while propped against the top back corner of the chairseat, feet on the chair. Good time.
Maybe it wasn't you, you look so pleasant in this photo- but anyone could get pi*sed-off when their feet and legs have been soaked to the bone, sending chills up to their n*ts as the temperature got colder and colder, "and the wind became crazy," in mid June.
Stevie performed 12 songs that night. The concert looks awesome on youtube- in person, not so fabulous, actually. Nothing against SN, of course.
If it was you, and I say this with admiration, Mr, ChiliD, Sir- to any and all other Ledgies:
Do NOT make this man angry enough to yell, ever!

New semester, new friends group. That's how it's seemed to work for me every time so far, at least. If you guys remember from my jtis posts, I spend a lot of my time at a frat. That's still happening Friday to Sunday, and I still love them all more than anything, but I'm really enjoying this new "having girlfriends" thing. So these are the ladies I go out with :)
