It's only Kelly Clarkson in that picture, and I think that's just because there's a video or a photo of her that's eerily similar. I know I've seen it somewhere. Katharine I DEFINITELY see , Brooke with your hair straightened :)

I get Britney most often (this one is really accurate in person, less so in photos), Katie Holmes, that Kristen Stewart girl from Twilight (this has been the newest), and Lindsay Lohan (I don't see that one AT ALL.)

OK...a month or so ago, I just got back in touch with one of my old bandmates from 30+ years ago and he had this photo of us...that's me on the left. 2 of those get me through a gig...the first one is enough to launch me into action to set up & play for 5 hours after a tough, stress-filled week of my day job...the second one, perfectly calculated to be consumed right before the last set of the night, gives that boost into "tear down & drive home" mode. Plus, it's only $5 and I don't get a runny/stuffy nose or inadvertantly cut myself with that damned razor blade anymore (and I save about $95, on top of all that). ;) :thumbsup:

Thank you! I've tinted it blue to counter the orange-y light in my bedroom, so you can't see the colour properly, although I'm glad you like it! It's like a golden blonde with ash tones through it.

Witch Hazel? Not sure what you mean but thanks Louie : ) I know a bootmaker overseas who can make that particular boot and there's also another online shoemaker here, ShoesUSA who can custom make you a near exact pair of Stevie boots in any color suede including the platform and heel. To me their Ronda206 boot is an exact blueprint of a Stevie boot and their craftsmanship is high. There are perfect Stevie boots out there if you just know where to look. I love all my boots and clothes. People that know me know I can talk clothes and boots all day lol. I buy all that Stevie stuff and seem to never have time to wear it as much as I'd like to. It's just something fun to do at times.

Parts are plentiful and affordable, as DeLorean's mainly utilized off the shelf hardware: Volvo engine, Renault Transmission, Lotus suspension and frame, etc etc etc. You can buy spark plugs, oil and air filters for them from your local Autozone or Napa. Most all parts can be cross referenced too.

There is one rumor about DeLoreans that unfortunately is true: they're very fickle. The cars were rushed into production without all the proper engineering work, so they have built in weak points. Their electrical, fuel, and cooling systems will all give you grief. 30 years of aging and often neglect only magnifies all this. If you don't study up on all of these shortcomings and especially the Bosch fuel system, the car will get the better of you.

If a DeLorean is truly your dream, my best piece of advice to you is to join one or both of these forums:

See if you can connect with owners in your area. Start going to gatherings and tech meets. Read up as much about the cars as you can. If you do your homework, buy a well sorted out car, and do your own maintenance, they're surprisingly economical and reliable as far as "exotic" cars go (if you can call the DeLorean an exotic). There are DeLoreans out there running around on their original engines with 500,000 miles (you can't kill a Volvo engine!), and the cars get close to 30mpg on the highway. You've just gotta learn their quirks inside and out, or they'll totally kick your ass.

Yeah, they're a bit expensive on your side of the pond... 30,000 Pounds or so. You'll probably be better off importing one from the States when the time comes. Good luck on your PhD!! :thumbsup:

She asked for curtins and a black night stand for Christmas! I took her to see Dave Matthews over the summer, and she bought this really cool poster there... Now she wants it framed and matted as hung in her room. She even asked for black lights and some rope lights around the perimeter of her ceiling. Haha! And the make-up thing is killing me. I'll give her this this though... She can put it on rather well!!!

i was always allowed to be a free spirit as long as i was a clean kid, that is what my mom always said~ so i try to do the same w/ my son~ last haircut he got, he got a fade w/ lines cut in his hair:lol:~

Your son sounds really cute :) I babysit for triplets around his age, and they're so much fun right now. Playing games around the table is starting to switch to talking about who likes who in the neighborhood. Too adorable.
