Some of you may remember me talking about my aunt's dog, Chloe, that we were likely going to inherit, because she met a dude on the Internet and moved in with him. Well, she lives with us now! Yay! And she's pretty (****ty BlackBerry pic notwithstanding):

And speaking of puppies, here is my parents' puppy, Princess, being a doofus on my leg. She gets these chew things that she slobbers all over, and it makes them soft and slimy and completely nasty to touch, so no one wants to pick them up and throw them so she can play fetch.

But since she's smarter than she looks (though not by much), she's discovered if she brings the chewy to you and puts it on you, you will reflexively shout "EW!" and smack it away. Which is almost like if you threw it on purpose, so...yeah.

Note the cast on her leg. We'd just returned from the vet because she'd somehow managed to tear the dew claw on that foot out. Naturally, I found this hilarious, because 1) she's wearing a cast, and 2) she kept running around and purposely banging it on stuff to try to get it off. So I snapped the pic, and when I went to see how it turned out, I noticed a disturbing spot on the carpet there underneath my bag.

Turns out one of the kids spilled pop all over the carpet & didn't bother to clean it up, and not paying attention, I just dropped my bag down on top of it. My rather expensive Coach bag. That I've had for years. That I carry constantly. Because I love it. And it was SITTING ON SPILLED COKE OMGALJGDLGSJDLHSIDHSDJL.

Hollering ensued. I put them on notice by telling them how I've shot men in Reno for much less, and the only thing standing between them and swift justice is the fact that they're my kids and I am kinda attached to them.

Well, either that or I'm too lazy to write a new verse for "Folsom Prison Blues." One of the two.

Oh, gotcha - but fixing the bangs isn't too hard, just go slow and only snip little bits at a time. I also suggest dusting it with something like cornstarch and brushing it through (carefully, with something with metal teeth!) if you want to cut down on the shiny and make it look more like real hairz.

Yep, the dress is all finished so I'm now hard at work on the rest of the costume! The wings are my current challenge but the engineering is turning out a little easier than expecting. Sticking on 300 feathers will be fun! ;)

And you've no idea how much I want to go to AC! Not only for seeing Stevie but for meeting you and my wonderful friends from the Ledge. Seeing Stevie on my own would be great, but the craic with a whole gang of us would be absolutely fantastic! Enjoy every minute of it, Marissa!

I like him too so that's understandable! I love how quiet he is on stage. He's just there to do his job and enjoy it in his own personal way. I love how even in an interview setting he seems to manage to go through the whole thing with very little to say. Have you seen the Mick Fleetwood documentary where he comments on Peter Green's departure from the band? I love how one of the very few things he had to say was a threat. The way he said it, even I watched it and thought "woah...they better watch themselves. He means business" hehe.


He does look intensely huggable too which is a bonus!

I have had a Camias moon (I lost it on my first and only trip to NYC along with one of my fav moonstone rings, ARGH,) and it was wonderful. I also have Kelly's awesome Stevie cuffs (here is a crappy Blackberry photo (http://i697.photobucket.com/albums/vv335/nowgozombiego/IMG00293.jpg) - I never take them off. Ever. Well, except for in the shower and when I'm sleeping. I tried sleeping with them on, but the big one kept getting caught in my hair. It was painful.) I've only had silver stuff from her, but it's all been excellent, so I imagine her gold work is also excellent.

My current moon is from Istanbul Designs on Etsy - I have the smaller version of this one (http://www.etsy.com/listing/53703811/large-3-in-1-crescent-moon-pendant-in), which she doesn't seem to have listed at the moment. I quite like it - it's got a nice textured thing to it. She does pyramids, too.

My current moon is from Istanbul Designs on Etsy - I have the smaller version of this one (http://www.etsy.com/listing/53703811/large-3-in-1-crescent-moon-pendant-in), which she doesn't seem to have listed at the moment. I quite like it - it's got a nice textured thing to it. She does pyramids, too.


I have the smaller version you're describing, too. :) I love it. I also have the silver one from Camias, and it's lovely as well, but I like the one from Istanbul because it's a little smaller.

I've wanted those cuff bracelets from Camias forever. What stone did you choose?

Pretty, huh? I like that the Istanbul one is smaller, too. My Camias one was awesome, but didn't always go well with what I was wearing due to its size.

The cuffs are definitely worth it. I went with the round stone version in white fiber optic. Wanted the moonstone, but that was wayyyyy out of my price range at the time. The fiber optic looks quite similar, Kelly recommended it to me.

Yeah, that is my natural hair (if I sleep on it correctly, that is). It's VERY bipolar so I'm considering getting a Brazilian Blowout to make things easier... I know, people want to shoot me for messing with the curls but they are such a pain.

My top is actually a leotard with Stevie wings! It's part of my Stevie Halloween outfit hahaha. Thank you for your kind words :)
