I prefer candids myself, even though people never look that great in them. :p I mean, they make all our little imperfections really noticeable but they're so...natural, you know? You can only take so many posed pics.

I recently got a hair cut, and the jackhat with the scissors did not do it right AT ALL. I have two tone hair - black on the top, fire engine red underneath - and she cut my layers all dumb and screwed up my bangs, so now I look like someone stuck a too-short black wig on top of really long red hair. I can't figure out what she was thinking, but I want to punch her for it.

Stuck with a ponytail or messy bun for the next few months. :shocked:

Seems we all want what sombody else has. I have been thin all my life even tried weight on in the past to try and gain weight! I think you're misunderstanding what I was saying... I'm not always the best at conveying my thoughts. I don't go up to people on the street and tell them to change clothes or cut their hair. I don't even do that to my friends, because God knows, I could use as much help as I can get in the appearance department myself! :lol:

However, I will say on a message board that I wish Stevie would mix up her hairstyles/wardrobe some. That's kind of the point of these message boards, is it not? To critique and debate? There's a HUGE difference between critiquing and insulting, too. There's also a big difference between critiquing somebody's appearance who is a celebrity, and someone who actually posts on this board. If all of this is hypocritical, I think each and every one of us here is guilty.

I'm not saying anything rude about Sara. I'm sitting next to her right now and she doesn't like the picture of herself with Dani and I either. However, I always think Sara is beautiful. She and I get into a constant debate daily on how I wish I had her bone structure cus my face is so round and fat haha.

And yeah, unfortunately, I was sitting here with her when we were looking at this thread and she did see the nasty things posted about "sharon needing to hang out with her for a few weeks". I mean, she laughed it off, but c'mon guys.....Sara is the coolest. All I have to say, because I know her pretty well, is that she is such a good sport about the Fleetwood Mac part of her life and she's added a lot of Fm fans on facebook that request her, and I just think people could be nicer. Right? It's not like she gets a kick out of reliving 30 yrs of her life through the internet, but she gladly will talk about it with fans because she was once a Beatles fan and got to meet them. She just truly understands how we all feel about the Mac and it's really sweet of her to share stuff with us. She likes the Ledge guys, don't give fans a bad rap.

Sara was one of the backup singers during the Street Angel tour when I saw Stevie perform at the Ohio State Fair in 1994 if I remember correctly, and I think it was that show where I noticed all the backup girls had on the prettiest outfits and long dripping sleeves at the cuffs (ala like The Dance outfit) and I still remember that. I'd have to go through my pictures of that night and refresh my memory but I loved their outfits and those sleeves, the girls really went all out on that tour dressing up and I've always thought Sara Fleetwood was so pretty! And I want to thank her for sharing any of her experiences with FM and Stevie with any of us fans. You guys are so fortunate and lucky.

Ok I need to explain my complete meltdown there. I work at a grocery store and my ex and his new bf came into my store tonight about 20 minutes before I got off work. Now my ex is fairly close to my size but has lost quite a bit of weight over the last few months. His new "friend" is very thin and about 5'8. they came thru my line at work and on their way out the new bf looks at me and says "Oh honey, I'm sorry youve decided to let yourself go like that." I dont know if Ive ever in all my life been blindsided like that. I mean I felt like I had been hi with a sledgehammer right in my stomach. I couldnt say anything while I was still on the clock or I wouldve been fired. I had absolutely no outlet for the anger I was feeling. I got home and I was reading Louie's and Richard's posts and I just completely melted down. there's no other way for me to put it. I thought about deleting my posts, but I said hose things and even though I didnt mean them, I'm not a coward, and I should be judged for those statements. I wish I couldve held on to my composure and not done that but its too late 4 that now. I'm terribly sorry for what I said, and I will accept whatever consequences result from my statements.

Both of them don't deserve one iota of your attention... and your behavior here has caused what they said to you to rule your behavior. They "win" when you let them get to you like that. One of the things I do when I have my meltdowns, whatever form they take, is to listen to music, and I always listen to one song in particular, Diamonds And Rust by Joan Baez, that helps to get me back to that place where I'm not so upset. Now in a bit of good news, I kust found out that she is going to eb in concert at our Zoo Amphitheater here in Minneapolis on July 13th. I have never seen her but I have llistened to her for over 30 years. I am excited beyond words to be able to see this great american live for the first time!:) I had tickets to see her a few years ago here and I couldnt go because of work and I'm still kicking myself for it. At least my friend who I gave the tickets was able to go and he managed to get me an personalized autographed picture!
