I've done SF to Monterey on the PCH and then down to Big Sur in a convertible, not driving, and it was as effing cool as you would think it would be! Gotta do it again with Miss Q behind the wheel. This time to LA.

Awesome spot. I rencently went to Rammstein, and the only way I got a spot similar to that was bringing my younger brother and my boyfriend. My bro is 6'4" and my boyfriend is 6'3". They had to act as my personal bodyguards against the mayhem that band attracts. I'm pretty sure more than one German that tried to slam into us ended up on their arse. :woohoo:

Really!! Wasnt the weather trippy? At one poing I had shorts on the next pants and sweatshirt!! My Aunt has a beach house there in Shell Beach I go every 4th to make sure all the lookie lous dont ruin her properety. She lives at the end of the street on a cliff & everybody comes there to watch the fireworks.

Love it there at the coast and hope to one day live at the coast,,,,,again! I lived in Monterey for almost 2 years.

He didn't feel heavy while I held him but when I woke up the next morning, my arm felt all strange because I'd used different muscles to hold him. I think he was about 4 pounds or so.

I have never been a fan of warm pies, you know with fruit. Although if I HAD to eat one, it would be apple or maybe blackberry. Either way, I'd have to have vanilla bean ice cream with it to counteract the disdain for pie that I have. :lol:

I'm not big on pie either really. Although dutch apple pie with vanilla ice cream is good though. I love plain or cherry cheesecake more than anything, but I'm picky about the taste and texture, they have to be just right. Oh geez, where is this conversation going? :lol:

in the 5 years total that I've been here this is the only time it's ever snowed. According to the lifers, this is the first time there's been snow in Wellington in about 20 years. But down on the south island it snows all the time. NZ is not tropical! haha I do like the snow as long as it's in seasons. I couldn't live in say, North Dakota.

That doesn't surprise me. You usually have to leave them about a week before they're cool enough to eat I'm told :p. I'm annoyed at food in general anyway, at the moment. Was baking all of Friday (Scones, Chocolate Orange Mud Cake and Fruit Tarts) and I got the mother of all burns from the rack inside the oven when checking on my Scones. I think I shaved off about fifteen layers of epidermis :s You know a burn is bad when it just looks like a big hole lol.

I've been on this forum for many years but rarely posted. I remember the days of the "trading post", that was fun back in the day. Anyways, Long-time Stevie/Mac fan since about mid 70's when I discovered my parents 8 tracks of Fleetwood Mac and Rumours. I just loved it even though I was only about 8 years old at the time. Once Bella Donna was released I was hooked all through High School and till this day.
Hope to meet more of you in the future. My next "Mac" related show is Mr. Buckingham in Clearwater in October. My next concert is Blondie at Ruth Eckerd Hall. It was great meeting some of you guys in Atlanta. It is especially nice seeing such young fans adoring and embracing the music and musicians I have just Loved for over 3 decades. I'm really hoping for another Mac tour soon...

This is my best friend Lydia Cornell. A friend, co star, author, political pundit actress...and soul mate for life. I met her in 1989 she did the Quanum Leap Pilot...and I did an Ad for cologne and was mad at myself for getting jobs based on face...and sitting on my talent.. She arrived into my life...in the nick of time....and then, ultimately saved my ass.

I so totally agree with this. I don't get the whole warm pie thing, and then the people who put ice cream on warm pie? It's enough to make me gag looking at it.

I like it. It just looks different on you cause I'm so used to the uber short hair, which looks good also. I like guys in short or grown out hair, it just depends on the person I guess. Sometimes you just wanna run your fingers through some hair. :nod: ;)
