I *think* I've heard a demo for the Wild Heart album once, but I'm starting to doubt that because everybody only seems to know the BN-demo. The one that ended up as the B-side of Stand Back isn't a demo but a finished track that didn't made it on the album.

You're welcome! Basically, it's a studio-produced reel-to-reel tape. Albums used to be recorded on these giant tapes. See I'm the opposite. I love every version after 1986 (except RR and Solid Gold). I know she had the crazy vocals in the earlier versions but I HATED the musical and vocal arrangement. That STUPID drum machine drives me crazy when I listen to bootlegs. Plus it usually ended whenever Stevie felt like she needed to stop singing. Adding the extra ending in 91 was one of the best ideas shes ever had (or her band had).

I didn't get much help with this in the Rumours forum, so I thought I'd post it here.

I ran into a guy at the bus station who said he saw the Mac in Largo and thought it was the best show he's ever seen.

He's thinks that he saw them in '77. I know they were in Largo in 1975 and 1978 as I've seen the video footage, but I haven't fond anything about them being there in 1977. Has he just confused the dates or was Fleetwood Mac there in '77? If they were in Largo in '77, does anyone have the audio? I'd like to provide him with it.

Random thought: I'm listening to Pandora and Stand Back just came on from Soundstage and I've noticed this before but I really dislike this version. She sounds totally flat, no energy. I don't even like the arrangement! It's pretty bad. Come to think of it, I haven't really dug Stand Back live since 86'. I mean I love when I'm there and she sings it but listening to boots after 86' kind of sucks.

This is by far my favorite live arrangement of the song, with the way it kicks in in full right after the drum intro to the guitar riffs throughout the song. I think this was the last tour on which this song had some real fire too it. The TISL tour version was ok, but too heavy on guitar in place of the keyboard parts and the later tour versions have just been so lifeless. I can only imagine if this version was used on the CV tour to open the show, the energy that hits when the song hits after the drum intro is just amazing.

Followed up and was mistaken! Columbus, yes, but no "Running Through The Garden" in Cleveland. I'm sorry for being wrong. I guess I was thinking of it being performed again briefly in 2004 as well. :(

But it was a good excuse to watch some 2003 shows. The Philadelphia concert is mostly from the big screen and Stevie looks fabulous!
