People keep saying the justice system is broken or that it doesn't work, but I have to disagree. The whole point of a jury trial is to be judged by a group of peers, and that's exactly what happened. The prosecution had the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt and they just couldn't do it.[/QUOTE]
I agree with you.
My theory is that if she really IS not guilty, she'll run away & hide & change her identity & get on with her life. If she's a guilty sociopath, she'll do interviews & TV & magazines & porn & whatnot, and revel in all that attention.
Time will tell...

Casey's ex-fiance was sympathetic to her as he remembers her but said he doesn't recognize the person she is today. It seems she snapped at some point. He had some harsh words to say about Cindy, that she was cruel to Casey. He cited an example where Cindy said to him, with Casey right there, "I don't know why you would even date her. She's a loser with no high school education and no future for herself." That is not an exact quote but the gist of it. He responded by telling Cindy to never speak about Casey that way to him again. He seems grounded, smart, and nice. His words seem to back up the theory that Cindy is a narcissist. He said the whole family is effed and it was very uncomfortable to spend any time in that house.
