Casey Anthony found not guilty

Somehow I had never even heard of this case until a week ago, so I'm still catching up.

I watched some ABC special and I just think there is something so off about all of it. I can't say for sure who killed her, but someone definitely did. How can duct tape and her being in a bag be an accident?? I think the news and all of the reporters (Nancy Grace lolol) created a very biased look at the case. I think they are to blame for most of America thinking she is guilty

Seriously, defense lawyers write this formula down. The jury let the defense evoke their sympathy for Casey. Example of jury sending a man to death row on circumstantial evidence; Scott Peterson. Who ironically did not get off scot-free. I agree that if she were a man she probably would have been convicted.

THANK YOU. everyone keeps comparing it to OJ. psh. i believe scott peterson is guilty but if between scott and casey, one of them were innocent? i'd pick scott.

which is confusing. if casey is claiming her dad molested her and he's this horrible person, why would she help him hide her daughter's body after an accidental drowning? none of it makes sense. the defense just kept contradicting itself and nothing ever added up.

Welcome. Honestly that defense worked. Baez's highly criticized opening statement won him the case IMO. He planted that "Casey is a victim" seed deep in the jury's subconscious, they suspended all reason, and went with an emotional verdict IMO.
