Louie you're so right. DVDs are far better. The only time I prefer vhs is when I'm teaching (which I haven't for a while) because you can have them all cued up and ready to go to show any clip mid lecture. It's tougher to do that with a dvd because you have to ether sit through all the warnings etc mid-class or, if you have it paused at the start, it my have un-paused by the time you get to the clip - bah!

Good call on e-books too. I have refused to get a kindle because I like to read books! I likely will get one for travelling though, I should have recently. That's what I think about these things. Great for tralling but that's it. It's a shame they've fully replaced, or are beginning to replace, the tangible product.

Oh I can't stand having cd boxes in the car. They clutter the car/glove box up, they get broken, cracked, scratched.. no! Much better to put them in a wallet for the car. On my recent trip we had a very tidy wallet that held all our driving cds. Said cds were also sequentially numbered but there were no tracklists... just one massive mix. See - we lived dangerously!
