I think a Ledgie took this picture too. I love it to death. I kind of feel like if they ever had a statue made of the two of them to comemorate their musical partnership, it should be in this pose. To me, it looks like they're two people merging into one through their music. Kinda weird, I know, but this pic just takes my breath away :o

I don't think it's a "get a room" situation. I mean, they've both made it quite plain that that aspect of their relationship is dead and buried. They seem to appreciate each other on a much deeper level than that now. They're "unromantic" soul mates, if that makes sense. You havn't to forget just how long they have been fictures in each other's lives. There'll always be some kind of love between them, even if it's nothing as carnal as having the urge to jump eachother's bones (bad use of the term lol).

I wasn't being serious at all. That was just a joke after all these intimate pics. Besides, some of these kinda make me wanna become a shipper.

Shipping is totally what got me hooked on the mac. The magic, the chemistry... love love love it. After the shipperness wore off (took about 3 months of watching all the dvds over and over, hours and hours on youtube, and googling and reading everything I could find about them) I started thinking how much more romantic and dramatic it is that they are not together. Stevie has said they get to have their little love affair on the stage...night after night. The glares, the hugs, the kissy faces, that's awesome, but they go their separate ways and it's so dramatic.

I can't imagine knowing someone for as long as they have known each other. They really don't have to be together in a relationship because they are surely connected in a deep way that I'm sure no one else will ever understand. I feel like I can understand them based on my experience with my exhubby... I have known him for 10 years and have a child with him. We parted on fairly good terms but it still hurt. Because we have a child together we still see each other (the music is like a child SnL share) and when I look into his eyes it's such a familar place. I don't want to jump his bones. We don't even have to talk. There is just a feeling of mutual respect for each other because of the beautiful child we created. Even though there is so much feeling there it is really really over and I am okay with that. He is a part of my life no matter what and the best part is I don't have to deal with all the things he did that drove me crazy.

Okay, this is turning into a therapy session for me.... enough about that.

You know it's interesting seeing these pictures of Stevie and Lindsey when they were together and in love because there aren't much out there. The armrest part was me joking around (I actually got it from a Zits strip), come to think of it, you're right. I think a Ledgie took this picture too. I love it to death. I kind of feel like if they ever had a statue made of the two of them to comemorate their musical partnership, it should be in this pose. At the time, I didn't really know what she meant. But judging from that picture and how she always goes on and on about the trauma she went through, comparing it to the actual cover - I would venture to say you're right.

I've always thought SN was a bit over the top about the BN cover, cos I was like 'It's not as if you can really SEE anything' - but unless she's anatomically weird, then she really must have posed for that photo with, ahem, rather more exposed than ended up on the sleeve.

To be fair, that must've been pretty humiliating, or at least I think I would've thought so, if it was me. Mind you, if it was up to me, I'd have airbrushed LB's nipples, too :eek:

Yes, she was definitely exposed to the camera crew. I didn't think that the lens actually captured and documented more than we see on the album cover. Her little aside might indicate that it did.

When they are on stage together, they act almost like husband & wife. You'd never know that he's married to someone else, but it's just an act. They do seem to get along better now since they isn't any drama anymore. I love Stevie, but I'd rather see her on stage with Fleetwood Mac than solo. Apparently, Stevie & Lindsey have a cute little ritual of "pretend skating" as they were doing in the Rosebud doc and brought back on the Unleashed Tour and did it at several shows when they came back for the encores:

At one show, they came back for the encore doing the skating thing and Mick tried to join in, but Stevie chastised him and told him not to ever do that again. She said, "it's our thing, Mick. Skating is our thing." LOL!

I don't recall seeing that at my show, but then again, I left before Silver Springs so I could catch the train (and not wait another hour for one) and I didn't see that.

As for the pretend skating, this is what happens when you live with a guy who ruins the electric skillet you used to make Hamburger Helper, so things were tough :laugh:. And can someone show me a vid of Stevie talking about that?

I actually like the way Chili described the two Mirage tapings he saw. One night the band was all lovey dovey and the next night they were all cold and staring daggers at each other.

I think what you get most of the time, during situations that are not contrived, is just familiarity. No intense hostility. No deep displays of affection. Just people who have been together for a real long time and communicate without speaking incessantly, though the nature of that communication may be quite mundane. They probably don't have great exchanges of passion very often. Yet, I find a shade of passion in their ease with one another, whether it's the stuff of romance or not.

Lindsfan, how did you obtain this video footage?? The (2) 1978 AMA's clips are VERY rare and hard to find!! It took me many years to finally obtain this entire awards show, which I purchased from someone privately back in 2008. Anyways, I have very good reason to believe that someone copied this video (without my permission) from my Rumours compilation video that I posted to Facebook only last month. This video was only to be viewed via my FB friends. It can not be posted to You Tube or it will be copyright sited. I know this because I did so back in 2008. After a few weeks of it playing, it got yanked and I got a copyright strike for it. Anything from the AMA's, Dick Clark Productions, and SNL will be sited. I don't mind people copying my videos, but they better ask me for permission first and give me credit for it. It wouldn't be right otherwise. Anyways, if you know anything about this, please let me know. Thanks!

Just because it's a hard to find video, doesn't mean that the videos were obtained by your own personal copy. The people creating the content deserve the credit if known. Ha. At one show I attended, Lindsey actually did pantomine wiping his sweat off on Stevie once, but it was when they walked back together after an encore, not during the Sara hug.

This reminds me of an X-Files episode. Scully is in the hospital dying and Mulder comes into her room at night, while she is asleep and cries on her outstretched arm. Everyone on the boards were saying that it looked like rather than grieving, he was actually trying to eat her arm. It was hysterical.

Well, there were nights when it was an embrace and nights when he kissed her or nudged her or whatever. It progressed throughout the tour, for sure and sometimes he was wiping his head off. But, what makes that sort of sexy in a crazy Stevie & Lindsey way is 1. He's comfortable enough with her to wipe his sweat on her and 2. She lets him! :lol:

I like this one in Australia. If you watch it in full screen on youtube you can see Stevie really laughing. It cracks me up at the end how she sort of pats him on the back like, "ok, ok that's enough now"...

Well, it wasn't the first time they did that butt thing so it wasn't an accident... now what kind of inside joke - I would love to know! But, they only did it early on the tour - and the pretend ice skating. Too funny. I'm glad they were enjoying themselves.

There were dozens of people with cameras pointed at the stage and no matter where you moved, you were blocking somebody just because everyone was so crushed in. Getting out of the way of someone on your right who was filming meant getting in the way of someone on your left. Short of keeping your hands down and not clapping or moving at all, there's not much that can be done.

Ummm. I haven't seen this before either. If it's a genuine outtake, Lindsey has a thing for necks, which is something we've speculated about before. I think it can be confirmed.

Yes, her arms are bent at the elbow, so I know they aren't at full length, but the way her hands are, it looks like they could be the arms of a little person, extended. It's amusing.
