Unfortunately, I think you're right. I would love to see a Vonzell/Bo final, but I think Carrie will beat her out. I do believe Bo will win. I thought he was just great last night. That a cappella song was great!

That was not the way I wanted this to turn. While I think that Blondie From Bum**** has, at times, displayed some range, she was too white bread country wanna-be for this boy from the heart of Texas. Does she look great? HELL YEAH - even off key. Her hair and makeup are perfection and she truly looks like the next Abercrombie model. That said, Vonzie sang the pants off of her last night and tonights performance was even better. I am sad to see her go, but it wont be long until she will have her own record to promote. She was my favorite. She kicked ass every week.
I am sure that I will see Carrie on some Fort Lauderdale cruise ship next spring while Vonzie will be making magic with Clive Owen. That's sassy.

So....my pick is Bo. Even with his oh-so-slight-belly and his semi-yellow teeth, his criminal record (so what?!!), his U2 sun glasses and those shirts that you can get on Fairfax & La Brea for $4...the boy can sing. He is the dirt. And next week will be a blast just to see his grandma flip her wig.

Carrie was out of tune most of the time. I was in the other room with the volume turned up & I actually stopped what I was doing to make sure I was hearing what I thought I heard. Yup. Was she ill or something? Doesn't she have allergy/sinus issues? She nailed "Independence Day" earlier in the year, but last night she was off - like she couldn't quite hit the notes.

Bo was good, but those original songs did suck. I think he did better on the "Heaven" one that Carrie & Carrie was a bit better on the other one. Either way, I dread hearing those as the first singles 5 times a day from whoever wins :rolleyes: .

I tried to vote for Bo, but only got 2 votes in (Curtis must have been blocking the lines :cool: ) then passed out for the night.

OMG, this morning on the Kidd Kraddick morning radio show, they sent their resident funny-and-will-do-anything-for-a-laugh-guy (Rich) to the AI finale and he interviewed Scott. I was howling. Rich was talking black throughout the entire thing, saying "This is R-Sizzle from the Kizzle." and just kept saying "Yo, yo, yo." Scott was going right along, with his regular speak and then Kidd asked Rich, "Did he talk any whiter around the other DJ's?" and Rich said yeah. LMAO!! Then, they started making fun of him, going "Hello there, could I get more cream cheese for my bagel." in white-boy voice. Lawd, it was hilarious!

Also, someone on another board said that Bo missed a cue because he was throwing up backstage. :( People are saying they were both sick, but Bo had to go to the emergency room. I don't know what is truth or rumour, but I'm 99% sure, from everyone's account that he was sick.

A few minutes ago, one of our local news guys was live in LA interviewing Constantine, and Connie was being an absolute prick. Then, minutes later, my husband said Connie tried to do one of his high kicks at a camera, and he fell on his ass! :laugh: Serves him right!

And when you think about it in a suspicious way, it would seem it was rigged because could Bo really release one of those songs as a single? Why wasn't he written a rock song to sing? Because they're looking for something very specific, a pop icon. Carrie fits right into that mold. She actually can sing though which sets her apart from Britney and Ashlee Simpson.

Early on in the contest I thought Carrie would win it. Then I became attached to Bo's success. Now I'm glad he didn't win because he is not bound to that narrow mold.

Apparently, he put it into "puffs" earlier. My friend showed me how he did it (she has her hair in twists like him, but not as long.) He just twisted a few twists together & wrapped each one around itself like little buns. I thought it looked better too.

I threw up in my mouth a little twice during the finale - once when Constantine winked at the camera, once when he kissed the camera. Barf.

The deal with Jennifer was that she had a personality. When the judges said something to her, you could tell exactly what she thought by just looking at her face, whereas every other contestant had their lips puckered to kiss ass. She couldn't dress for ****, but she didn't care and wore what she liked. Homegirl had balls, talent, and beauty. She should've won over that cartoon character known as Fantasia.
