Because of the blurry nature of these, you could be forgiven for thinking this was Helen Mirren and not Christine. Am I the only one who's ever seen a resemblance between the two beautiful, age defying women?

Then, when Brown returned and brought his girlfriend with him to see FM, John proceeded to flirt with Linda! Turnabout is fair play.

You know, I have a lot of faith in John having a wonderful sense of humour. Despite his stoic nature, I can just see him being a funny person with a dry wit. This helps improve my faith. I like to believe he knew exactly what he was doing in the old retribution department

^Are you suggesting that Camilla play older Christine in the movie?

Frankly I can'trecognize anybodiy in those pictures. Yes, it probably is Christine. But if you'd showed the pics and ask Guess who? I would have answered Helen Mirren, Susan Blakely, Agnetha Faltskog, Christine McVie, etc.

Michele

Michele no, just having some fun with the Camilla picture (now removed). For some reason, when I look at a tall +65 year old English lady, they all appear (to me) to have the same features. Chris will always be the beauty and class of FM band:laugh:

That's like Cory saying that Lindsey held up their departure from one of the venues during a tour and when she was finally able to get Lindsey ready to leave, then John suddenly had something else to do and delayed them. She realized it was just John's subtle way of giving Lindsey a taste of his own medicine.

Is Christine completely done with the music business?

Is Christine completely done with the music business?

I would say probably, but ITM came as a complete surprise, so who knows?

Although I'm sure the sales figures for ITM were a pretty big letdown for her, which is too bad, because I GREATLY prefer it to SYW.

She may have been disappointed with the ITM sales but she's not daft, she knew that without a tour and not much promotion the sales were never going to be that great.

I prefer it to SYW as well which sounded to me like Buckingham Nicks backed by Fleetwood and McVie

No she is not.

[profjohn]

I was just thinking the same thing. Those photos show what other journalists have mentioned when meeting her face-to-face: that she is taller and thinner and person than may of the photographs of her suggest.

One of Melody Maker's top 10 best pairs of legs in Britain ;)

Does anyone have a scan of the Melody Maker page showing the top 10 list and hopefully a shot of Chris' legs?

I never liked the glamour shots she and Stevie occasionally took. Love the glasses photo, however. For me, Christine's appeal is that she's a warts-and-all kind of a gal, someone who is sexy but not too pretty, a woman who isn't girlish...

[nicepace]

I agree. That so-called "glamour shot" is hideous.

[jbrownsjr]

Most of her pics are the tough girl. So I did like the glamour shots once in a while.

[michelej1]

I like the glamor shots fine, as a change of pace. But these artistic beauty shots would be even more stunning if they captured the real essence of a person, rather than making them look like something else.

When Hurrell did the old stars, I loved how he caught a part of them that was there, but not always seen. To me, Joan Crawford always looked harsh and I never thought of her as romantic, but he did pictures of her with Franchot Tone that were so lovely I wanted to make a poster out of them. He brought me in touch with a side of her that existed in her early movies, but that I had not previously been aware of.

Now with the Hollywood actors, since they did look that way in their movies, it was great to bring the same thing to still photos. However, with rock stars, I'm not sure you want them to look like Hollywood actors from a 1930's film.

If he'd brought out more of Christine's natural elegance, rather than transforming her that would have been even better. But I cherish the shots we have.

I agree.

Some of the glossy shots she did for her solo record, including the one that's featured in the booklet for The Chain (the one with her hair up), are really great.

I love that she has such a variety of shots... From looking like Mick to Cheryl Tiegs..:laugh:

No, just playing with David.

I figured. My heart does break slightly when I hear her voice, knowing she's outta the music biz.

My heart skipped a beat. Cos when you know something Michele, you know somethin.....

Somehow with the bangs in front, but the sides sweeped back Christine looks very youthful, more so than if all of her hair had been hanging free.

It's a schoolgirlish look.

Thanks for sharing.I missed her so much.Like all of us do.

[Chris_Lover]

Thanks so much for these beautiful pics, the nr.2 is the one where she has a black hat (that someone deleted with Photoshop!) and her hands raised and It's one of my fav pics because she looks so sweet, but at the same time very sexy with the leather jacket!

I have some requests: has anyone a large/hq/color version of the following pics? Thank you so much for your help!

Is this White Album or Rumours?

[vivfox]

http://s2.imagestime.com/out.php/i726856_tumblrlter9w43Dp1qcaugio11280.jpg

I have never seen this pic before. Look at John's coat. I like it very much but it's the first time I've ever seen him wear something girly.

[Chris_Lover]

Is this White Album or Rumours?

Hi Viv, I was looking at the background and I saw the moon with the tree, so it's seems the Rumours tour. At first I tought (and wrote) it was the White Album because during Rumours Chris -unfortunately- used to crimp her hair (you can see it in the Japan '77 concert and in the backstage videos of that tour: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dv6FSGpZj2o), but maybe she stopped to do it before the end of the tour. I must pay more attention to the details. I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong!
As for John, well...it seems like Chris gave him one of her coats! ^^
Anyway, I can't describe HOW BEAUTIFUL she is in that pic, with the thoughtful look and the fingers that pinchs her perfect chin...ok, I'm going to take a cold shower now

I took some screencaps from videos, hope you'll like it because she's wonderful (sorry for the quality!):

That backdrop was mostly used on the white album tour and sometimes on the Rumours tour. SANNE???? Where's Sanne? She'll know the answer.

[Chris_Lover]

Ok, I just discovered on Flickr that maybe the pic was taken in 1977, during the Rumours Tour (from February 24, 1977 to August 30, 1978 ). I can't be sure of it and the fact that she's wearing the same red dress couldn't mean anything, but if you look carefully she has the same hairstyle and har tied in the same way with a hairpin: http://www.flickr.com/photos/66936321@N05/6124884737/
Let's hope Sanne will answer soon :)

Hi Sanne, I still can't believe I was fooled like this. I feel so stupid. We all know she's shy so it would have been an embarassing photo for her to take. ROBIN????:confused: Oh my God, seems like her twin: her face, mouth, chin, her expression, even the sunglasses. All so similar. The hands are a little too small, by the way. Chris has bigger hands and she's more muscular (oh yeah!). I knew it was too good to be true. I must wake up from my dreams, 'cos I see her everywhere. Thanks for your report!

I found other pics:

As you can see, he's very fond of his pepsi shirt.

Oh, I'm sure he was ... ;) .. But can you imagine the smell of onion coming from is armpits after a long summer day spent on the road and on the boat, with all those beautiful girls of the 70's? : D
Phew, and where was Chris THAT DAY, when everyone was in bathing suit? :/ Went fishing? : (Maybe she was wearing a Dom Perignon shirt and didn't want to be photographed :D

Anyway, I have something special for you. I still can't believe what I found, maybe you already knew these pics, or maybe it will be the first time for you too to see them. One was taken (and uploaded) in 2009 at the Red Snapper restaurant by a woman named Chris Kable, who seems to know Chris well (I'll post 2 pics of them together). In the second pic I'm still not 100% sure it's her, but my heart tell me so (specially because I found it on her brother John's FB page) and was taken only a month ago, so if it's really her I think we've found the most recent pic of Chris. Always with a drink in her hand...and always beautiful!! :D

It doesn't look like her to me. It looks more like Stevie.

I think it's her. The hair is a tad bushier than I'd expect, but the features I can see look a lot like Chris, sans makeup.

http://s6.imagestime.com/out.php/i732251_chris2009redsnapper.jpg

If this is her three years ago, then I'd say she looks pretty good, pretty natural for a woman of her age.

[michelej1]

I think it's her. The hair is a tad bushier than I'd expect, but the features I can see look a lot like Chris, sans makeup.

Granted, I can't see a lot, but I thought the eyes looked rounder than Chris' .

Michele

[Chris_Lover]

Her legs are so sexy, toned, slightly muscular but soft and smooth at the same time, and she never had cellulite. Lucky her! :o:nod:

I have to agree with Aleuzzi: the pic was taken last month during "Sounds New" (http://www.soundsnew.org.uk/), a contemporary music festival based in the city of Canterbury. It's from John Perfect photo album, since he is the membership secretary now. The boy with long brown hair in the pic is Danny Glavin, one of the young musicians. I'm sure Chris attends many events in which his brother or even his nephew Dan and his wife (the painter Fiona Rae) take part.
So it can't be Stevie and it definitively doesn't look like her.
When I first see this pic, watching the album without expecting anything in particular, I suddenly recognize her by the look: it's too similar to the one she had in the 1976 "Say you love me" video and in a 1987 interview. Hope this image will help taking away any doubt.

Look at the eye's shape and the nasal crease between the ala and cheek, on the right and the typical rounded tip:

Was Chris Kable her secretary, or am I thinking of someone else?

I just found out that Chris Kable was Dennis Wilson secretary and after his death she worked for Chris. You may find this 1986 book excerpt interesting: http://bla.fleetwoodmac.net/index.php?page=index_v2&id=19&c=2
I think it's terrible what Dennis did to her, only because she was too good, kind and patient. She suffered too much and she didn't deserved it. These are the things that change your life and your behaviour forever. It's sad to read that she tried many time to leave him, but anytime he came back forced her to remain together.

[Chris_Lover]

Isn't she sweet? :o

Well, since Hollywood has decided to make a movie about Dennis Wilson dating CM and Mike Love's daughter INSTEAD of one about him hanging out with Manson then yeah...it must have been a pretty screwed up relationship.

Since it's a picture thread...
http://rinburbs.files.wordpress.com/2011/02/screen-shot-2012-02-12-at-1-30-37-am.png?w=496

That top picture is incredible...

BTW: How do I embed photos?

Hi Whippity! :wavey:
To embed a photo, you have to upload it on a free file hosting (such as TinyPic, Imagestime, Imageshack, etc), copy the direct link generated by the site, then on the forum click on the "Insert image" icon you find upward when adding a new post (it's the fourth from the last) and paste the link. This action will generate a tag like this: paste here the image url you created
This is an example of procedure, hoping you'll find it helpful (if you have other questions, just ask and we'll help you):
http://i45.tinypic.com/2hqqkjp.jpg

You know, I always thought that in the first photo Chris appeared tired, resigned, frustrated by a relationship with a man who was totally destroyed by alcohol and drugs, so she got sick herself trying to indulge his vices and acting more like a mother than a girlfriend. I think that picture alone speaks a thousand words, and it's the emblem of what a wrong relationship it was from the beginning. I don't know why Chris became so much involved in it with him, since he was only a playboy who didn't respect women, but it's clear that sometimes we fall in love with wrong people and even when we start to sink in the relationship, we do not realize it. Even if friends and familty try to open our eyes and are aware of the risks. Reading that book excerpt broke my heart. It is not right that she had to suffer so much: first with John, then with Dennis ... her whole life has been full of unhappy love affairs like mine, so I'd like to make her feel my support and all my understanding.

PS: The movie title will be "The Drummer" and I read that shooting began some days ago (June 12). I'm really curious and eager to see how Vera Farmiga will play Chris...

[Chris_Lover]

Who is that? Great pics!

It's Chris Kable, Dennis' (and later Chris') secretary :)
I think the pic was taken during the photo session for the Bam magazine, in 1984:

(God, she's so sexy here and I'm going to print it as a poster right now..tonight I want to hang it in my bedroom. During the night I'll stare at her and have the most pleasant dreams to share with you)

You're welcome, ButterCookie :)
OCD girl answer is: of course you can post it on your Tumblr :D These pics are not mine, I just found it on the net, so anyone can take and repost it.
I registered on that site some days ago, but I had so many commitments that I still hadn't the time to login. I still don't know how it works, but I'd like to add you (if it's ok with you) :)

PS: I just wanted to say something, since I don't want to be misunderstood again. My love for Chris is absolute. I don't want her or forum users to think that I only find her attractive. I'd be a liar if I said that she is not beautiful, but I can't explain what she really means to me, how she's helping me and since I can't explain myself very well in english language I find sometimes difficult to write my feelings and people only read comments about me finding her a "hottie". Ok, I'd like to write something profound (I hope this is the right word), but I could only do it if I was sure she'll read it. I'm not sure other fans care about my thoughts, and I don't like to talk publicly about myself as I said before: that's why all I do is posting pics of her and joking. I don't have any mental illness (:D), I just want to have fun with all of you, because life is too difficult and sometims is a good thing to cut off from reality and dream. Dreams help us living better.
There are a lot of beautiful things that I'd like to write about her, maybe someday I'll do it. I'm sure if she's reading this thread, she won't find my comments offensive, but she will understand my humor and have a laugh. She's smart, funny and kind. I would like to be with her, drinking a cup of tea in her living room or in the garden (and maybe smoking some cigarettes together, if she still smokes), talking about our life, hearing tales about her incredible adventure with FM and maybe even talk about our sentimental past, as two friends would do. Or talk about anything she likes, not necessarily the things I just mentioned. Of course I respect her and the fact that she's straight, so I will never think of "jumping her" (that I'm sure someone always did, scaring her). I don't want her to think that lesbians only want to have her sexually, I'd like to show her that someone is different and serious. I have straight friends and I never had any sexual or romantic thought about them, since I know that if something like this would happen to me, I'll be really bothered and angry. I could end a friendship for this, sometimes I can be ruthless when people betray my confidence or lack of respect (must be a Taurus characteristic).
I act like a stupid, maybe also a prankster here, but I'm too shy in real life and I'm sure if I could talk or meet her I'll be so embarassed that all I could do, initially, would be giving her a huge smile and start to sweat and stutter. I couldn't even ask her a hug, so I would accept anything she chooses to say or do. For example, I've never been the first one to take the first step in an engagement, "and that's saying a lot". :p
For me, Chris is like the big sister I never had. A human being, not a super heroine or a sex goddess. A friend, a sister, maybe a aunt.
We share also another passion: cooking. I would love to spend hours with her in the kitchen; I would like her to teach me many recipes. I know she loves Italian food, but I wonder if she also loves ethnic and sushi! If she's still willing to open a restaurant, I offer myself as a cook assistant, work I've already done a year ago! :D

I registered on that site some days ago, but I had so many commitments that I still hadn't the time to login. I still don't know how it works, but I'd like to add you (if it's ok with you) :)

Thank you! The URL for that blog is http://ohyeahchristinemcvie.tumblr.com and my personal one is http://accio-sarahjane.tumblr.com but that's mostly Doctor Who and my crazed lesbo ravings which I can't do out loud

I agree with everything you've said here completely  She is more than just a beautiful lady, she's an inspiration.

There were thousands people...thousand...the ONLY ONE who was turned around on the stage was her! Well, thanks anyway Chris...we can still see something beautiful (maybe she was socializing with the mole) :D

I know this is John, but I'm posting these pics because here he was playing a special Fender, Reg. # L12304 bass. Special, because it had a beautiful dragon carved in it by Chris. She did it with her wonderful hands (good job, honey!). Unfortunately, the bass was stolen from their van in Manhattan Beach....It's a shame someone did something like this.

I agree with everything you've said here completely  She is more than just a beautiful lady, she's an inspiration.

Thanks, I'm happy someone agree with me...and understand that I'm not only a "crazy girl", maybe with some strange OCD who drool over her pics! I'm new here, but not stupid or obsessed. It's so easy to judge someone you don't know only for a few comments. Anyway, I saw that you changed your avatar and added a picture in your signature, great choice! ;)

I have these pics...the problem is that they are very small. Maybe someone could help us posting a larger version?

It's a pity we can't see Chris & Stevie faces in the first pic, I would have loved to see their expression :D

[Chris_Lover]

This is awesome. You have posted so many pictures I've never seen before!

Thanks Whippity! ^^
I know that I don't have all her pics and some users have very rare photos that we'll like to see. That's why I get OCD every time I see something new to me
I have other pics from the same 1972 photo session (but I'm sure you already have it!):

Totally understandable behavior. hehe. :p

Just found this old thread while searching google;

[nicepace]

Why are people posting pictures to this thread? The "Through the Decades" thread is for pictures of Christine and has been ongoing for a long time. Is there a moderator who could move these posts to the proper thread?

At least, could a moderator please fix the typo in the thread title? It should be "Photos" not the possessive "Photo's". The typo is irksome.

This is just my opinion, but "Through the decades" is a way too generic title and people may not understand that it refers to a pics' thread. I think the admin should close the other one and let people post pics only here. It makes sense to choose this thread to post photos.

PS: I don't know who opened the thread, but I think we are not all americans or english here and someone could make unintentional typing errors, as me for example.

This is true. In the school or workplace, I can understand grammatical errors being upsetting, but not online. It's a meeting of people with too many different ages, backgrounds and origins.

Skies the limit, baby.

As long as they are all in one thread I'm fine with whatever title.

Or when you write very fast (as me), it often happens to tyNpe wrYoUng...ops, I told you :D But according to a study in the journal "Science", researchers discovered that fingers KNOW when you type wrong: http://www.scientificamerican.com/podcast/episode.cfm?id=fingers-know-when-you-type-wrong-10-10-28
It's a pity they can't talk :D I'd like american or english people on this forum to correct me if I misspell, so that I can improve my english (and I won't consider it offensive, but corrective) :)

I'm starting to get confused with all the already posted pics and the unposted ones ... I'll have to recheck all the pages of this thread, and I'm not complaining at all! ^^ I hope someday computer engineers will invent an image/title recognition system for forums, so you can avoid posting duplicates!

Yesterday a good friend of mine and also a ledgie sent me this wonderful pic. Today I saw it was posted on a Facebook group dedicated to Christine, but this is special for me because she sent it to me first (thank you again my friend!).
This is, in my opinion, one of the best pic of Chris ever taken. There are no words to express the beauty of this woman...she just take my breath away...

That's actually from my Tumblr, I posted it on July 27.

So can this thread and the "Through the decades" thread be combined? It's kind of silly not to dump all the photos into one since they both serve the same purpose.

Hi Aleuzzi, finally the admin did it, so now we have only one thread...no more confusion :)

That's actually from my Tumblr, I posted it on July 27.

Hi Sanne,
first of all thanks for the information about this wonderful pic. As for who posted it before the other, the Chris facebook group's admin thought I was the first one to upload it, but I immediately informed him that I wasn't, since I've only received it. I don't want and I've never got credits for something that's not mine, I only get it for my personal works (wallpapers, videos, gifs, photo montages, etc..), and the fact that other fans share it never bothered me, obviously as long as they don't claim it as their.
After my last answer, the admin said that he had already seen the image on the "Fleetwood Mac News and Reviews" facebook page, but when I checked it I couldn't find the pic. Having me as a Tumblr friend you can see that I didn't enter that site from the night/morning (italian hour) of July 27 to the evening of July 29 and in the last days I'm not very active (even here), so I couldn't know it was posted by you, otherwise I would have chosen to reblog it directly from your Tumblr.
I've just informed the Chris fb page admin that we solved the "mistery", adding your page link in a note. I did the same with the pic in my Tumblr page: http://s4.imagestime.com/out.php/i753018_fbtumblrchris.jpg

That said, thank you again for sharing this pic with us: it's really beautiful and also very special to me.

This is another beautiful pic, this time I found it doing a search on Google (I'm just saying it to avoid misunderstandings). I've only enlarged it:

Don't worry, it's okay :) I just wanted to clear that up since a lot of "my" pics show up on facebook with other people taking credit for it and people think that facebook page is the original source of the pic, it's a little bit annoying.

It's a bad thing, Sanne. It's not right that someone post pics taken from your site and write "it's mine" just to take credits. You have all the reason to be annoyed by it, I understand it well. Today it happened to me again, on my Fb group about paranormal. I have a lot of articles I wrote many years ago, video or pics and I found out that someone posted it on their group. It's not so hard to add a link to your page, but people is often lazy. I guess there's nothing you can do with people like this...then I'm not for war, so I let go...

PS: Your Tumblr is better than the Bible! :D Thanks for what you do for us fans!

Chis Lover, it wasn't a fight, so don't worry about it. I'm Italian decent (both sides of my parents used to fight), so I know emotions run high with us.....it's in our DNA.

Life is very, very short, and worry takes a toll on our lives.

Christine is one classy women and was the MAJOR reason of the bands greatness. Lindsey was the other major reason for the financial success and production of the songs and albums. All five were different in looks and personalities, a blend of looks and music that will stand the test of time.

The other band that had more dysfunctional people were the Mamas and Papa's during the 60's. The four of them cranked out a lot of songs that still are popular today.

[michelej1]

It was a joke. Yes, people frequently don't get my jokes....:o

Didn't Mick's book say something about even dressing Billy, so that he looked similar to Lindsey? Like I said, from the nosebleeds, I thought it was Lindsey, at the first part of the show.

I know it wasn't a fight, don't worry ;) I know that sometimes we misinterpret the way of writing, or you never know how to write a thing in a way it couldn't be misinterpreted, 'cos people can't listen from the tone of your voice if you are saying it in in a gentle, humorous or serious way. It happens often in this virtual world. I read you have italian descendants, but as I said some times ago, I don't feel myself italian...in my DNA there's there are 2 words "World - USA" :D I don't like many things about italians and about this country. I love US and I feel more american than italian and I hope someday I'll live and work there... I don't like to argue, I like to be friendly with anyone and try to always smile even when things goes wrong. That's one of the reason I like to joke often. I love to laugh. Music is fun and sharing, and it's nice to do it with friendly people who enjoy civil dialogue. I have a beautiful friendship with a person on this forum and I hope to make new friends :)

They were great together. A perfect polygamous marriage of 5 people :D
At the beginning, people didn't like Chris because she was so different and not so rock as the other members, but they soon changed their mind and everyone started to love the sweetness of her romantic melodies. Stevie and Chris have been a positive revolution for the band! http://images2.rdefined.com/d/89449-2/piano_ttigg.gifhttp://www.alicampbell.net/forum/images/emoticons/269.gifhttp://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-fc/drums.gifhttp://www.soxandthecity.net/smilies/smileyladysingerne5.gifhttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/CommentCrazyGirl/Smileys%20Action/Music%20Dance/th_Smiley01-1.gif

Apparently in concert Stevie has a new video out that has a small clip of Bonnie Bramlett in it and none of us recognized her (I'm confident about knowing Bekka, so that's not a problem). People were debating about whether or not it was Stevie's mom. Dee identified Bonnie eventually and I was just dying to know if both of our Steves would have recognized her. If not, their music history badges should be revoked!

Have you ever noticed the similarities between Chris and Lady Oscar from "The Rose of Versailles" (from the original japanese manga "Versailles no bara")? She was one of my childhood hero. I just noticed it some days ago, watching a 1988 FM documentary...excuse me everyone, but I had to create this photo montage just to show you what I'm talking about. I wonder if the things we see or dream as children do not affect the choices we make as adults. I believe Chris reminds me about something beautiful from my childhood.

Right. I was basically trying to say, "this is Greg, from another angle." Maybe I should have said that:laugh:. But anyway, I knew you knew who Billy was. Sometimes you have to think about who the poster is. Based on who you are and having read your posts for some time, it's obvious you would know what Billy looks like.

Michele

[michelej1]

Now, the other guy standing behind them, I don't recognize. I don't think it's Ken or Eddy. Eddy seemed to weigh more back then, have a rounder face. The men all had facial hair in those days and it's hard to go back and tell them apart.

Michele

[HomerMcvie]

I think we're talking about different pictures. See above.

Yep, turns out we were talking about different pics!

[michelej1]

Here's a thumb nail of Eddy.

[Chris_Lover]

Here's a thumb nail of Eddy.

Eddy has a receding hairline; the other man in that pic, even if with a receding hairline too, had more hair. And his hair was black, while Eddy's is brown and as you said, he has also a rounder face, with beard. I really believe that man was Greg Ladanyi, as Aleuzzi said (if 'm not wrong!). :) And now I understand that maybe he's the same "Greg" she was referring to at the beginning of this video, when she said "We wanna play a song dedicated to Greg on his birthday...": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiGAT0srXpY

I decided to color another beautiful pic:

No, I was talking about the picture with Rick Vito and Christine. One man in the picture is Greg. We've identified Greg. We all agree that's Greg. But there is another man standing behind them and people wondered who he was too. I don't know who that man is, but Eddy and Ken were suggested and I was just saying that I don't think it's either of those two.

Well, when Stevie's shakin' that booty in her face, what else do you expect her to do?

[ironman_01701]

Can you image all five of them dressing in their bazaar clothing and shaking their asses and mixing sex, drugs and rock and roll for 25 years? Then having nearly opposite personality traits with that of Stevie and Chris. It's no wonder why Chris left the group after the Dance in 1997. Who wants perfect strangers (fans) chasing you down when Chris personality is so private. "Having a body guard go wherever you go somewhere is like being in a prison".

Chris has personality, honesty and simple strait forward love songs makes people like us attracted to her. Her maturity and grace was always present during the 70's, more so than the other four band members.

You can't shake and spin around with cellulite like Stevie in your 60's and expect to sustain your marbles and basic need for inherent privacy. It's no wonder why Chris now secludes herself in that little village in Kent England.

It will be no surprise if she does not show herself after the Drummer movie is release.

Here is a rare color photo of the three singers & songwriters:

Hi Cliff, well... she's really a gourmet! :D (I'm not sure if in english it has the same meanings as in italian, 'cos we use it not only referring to food, but also to people who likes handsome men or beautiful women. If there's a more appropriate word, I'd like to know it).

I totally agree with you on this, but not about Stevie's "cellulite" (on the contrary, she's in a very good shape for being a 64 yo woman, after all the damages Klonopin caused to her body. I think she's gorgeous now). I'm very similar to Chris and that's why I love her and her personality always attract me. At the same time I know that sometimes being a very private person it's not so pleasant. There are moments when you feel alone and forgotten. I hope this is not Chris case, of course. A lot of people still love her and remember her songs, everyone would love her to get out of retirement and sing again with FM, but this is just a dream. Knowing her, I'm sure she's ok with her secluded life in Wickhambreux. And yes, I don't think she cares very much about "The drummer", on the contrary maybe it's a moment of her life that she prefers not to remember.

PS Thanks for the color photos, very beautiful! I like your album! :woohoo::thumbsup:

I love it, Ironman! Excuse me if I didn't see it before, but it's almost a month that I don't log on the forum (the heat killed me). In your works there are always funny particulars, for example the bird in this one or the penguin with the "One of us has no balls" tag in the old one :D
I also loved your "42 Years of Faces" collages: one more beautiful than the other, even if my favs are...

Some months ago I created a "legs collage", but I'm not sure about the pic at the beginning of the Skies the limits video (pic no.9): is it Chris or Stevie? They looks too thin to me, even if this is not a choice of shoes Stevie would have ever done. Then Chris has more muscular legs..

Wow her hands really show the ravages of banging away on keyboards for decades in this pic-- the knuckles especially look enlarged and little bit arthritic...

[michelej1]

I wonder if Christine were performing now, if she would wear something on her hands. Stevie has those finger gloves which appear to help circulation for her. I wonder if Chris would need that. I know when FM had to play outdoors Christine wore gloves for warmth. I have one Dance boot when she has gloves on.

Clearly she would have dealt with stiffness and pain in cool weather, but I wonder if she deals with day to day discomfort. We know about Mick's hearing loss, but what about carpal tunnel issues?

I mean, all of them, Mick, Lindsey, John and Chris certainly had repetitive motion.

Yes, you have to wonder about the toll of playing live for so many decades. I heard recently that one of the guys in KISS has had two hip surgeries in recent years, from all the running/jumping they do onstage in those boots.
FMac doesn't clearly do the same acrobatic moves onstage, but they certainly are better musicians who play their instruments hard onstage. It's got to kick their asses many nights.

Hi everyone! :) I'm so sorry I disappeared in the last 6 months, but I had a really stressfull time with the driving school, but now I'm back ;)
First of all, I wanted to thank all of you for the new pics of Chris you have posted. There are 2 or 3 of them that I've never seen before. I died of happiness and couldn't believe it when I read the latest news that she was in Maui, and when the day after the concert I saw the pics and videos I was in Heaven. The chances of a comeback in the band, at least for the english tour dates, fills me with hope, but I will understand her decision if she won't come back on a stage. She was already so brave and nice to take a plane again just to visit her friends, because we know how she's scared of flying. She still looks amazing, fit and healthy that my heart skipped a beat when I saw her again. It seems like time never passed for her, so I decided....to create this little photomontage that compares a 70s pic of her with a new one. Tell me: do you notice any difference? 'Cos I don't! :blob2:

The following images come from the italian dossier “Posterstory” dated March 3, 1981. I bought it on Ebay last month. It contains the history of Fleetwood Mac until that year and on the inside there’s a giant image of the group. Photographer Annie Leibovitz shot that photo in 1977, but in spite of all the images of the same photo session you will find on the net, this one is absolutely rare. Notice the error: the italian journalist called Mick “Mike”. What a shame. Really, I’m ashamed of my country! Anyway, if you’d like the translation of the whole dossier, just ask me :) I will post every page of it, not only Chris pics, so on the cover there's a pic of Stevie and on the inside there's one of Mick.

I love this photo! It was taken in the late 70s on board Fleetwood Mac private jet.
