Juliet is one of the few good songs from that album.

But when they were good...they were really good...really good strangers

Just thought that line was great.

I like most of the songs on TOSOTM. The only ones I really despise are Cry Wolf and Two Kinds of Love.

I totally dig Juliet, but it took a while to grow on me. Now it's one of my favs from The Mirror album. I'm pretty sure she did it when I saw her on this tour...

please,

I was not attacking the Euros', ie, the brits, etc,

I was trying to illicit a response from the priviliged majority over here on this side of the Pond,

seems that all they do is hang around here in their Underalls / Depends all day,

(try stepping outside for some fresh air once in a while, or hitting the road to see Stevie, or some other musician live, and pay the price of admission),

totally underwhelmed, that there was no "north american" response to my original posting.....

I think she will.

I had a dream the other night she did this live - like, recently. It was really vivid. And weird. She was jumping up & down while singing it in my dream.

Default One month until In Your Dreams...

It's April 3rd. The album drops on May 3rd. Wonder when things are going really going to take off. We are waiting on a suprise from Steve, coming soon. I hope soon doesn't mean May 2nd. Is it the video, a new single, an itunes presale complete with extra track. I hope we find out this week.

Good lord!!!!!!!!

The best line is-----

Well, let the crisis become a bridge....
And cross that bridge tomorrow---
Well, and let the time that goes between- baby-
Well, let it let go of the sorrow!!!"

I like Cry Wolf... though most of that album hasn't aged well, "dated" doesn't even begin to cover it

The extra track really wouldn't be a surprise since they had 14 songs cut.

Right, but the surprise might be what the extra song is.

I refuse to keep up with who co~wrote what in these threads, and will wait for the CD to come out with the credits. So, I'm hoping that the vault song (that Stevie wrote over Mike Campbell's music that they dusted off and he re~worked the music a bit, as Stevie talked about in an interview last year) is the 14th track. And I hope it's "You Like Me".

Stevie specifically said they dug out an old song of hers & Mike's, and that he made it even better now. But that doesn't seem to line up with the official track listing and what we know about when the songs were written. There doesn't seem to be grounds for any of the songs to be this SN/MC Vault song that Stevie talked about. Unless "Ghosts Are Gone" is very old.

What is your problem?? Not all of us are lucky enough to live in places where Stevie actually tours. This is really quite offensive to those of us who would see her if at all possible but for working/financial reasons are excluded from this because of where she plays.

The biggest surprise and promotional vehicle is the IYD trailer. And as far as the Secret Love video, I'm personally not anticipating that with much excitement anymore, exp. after seeing the far more exciting teaser for the album. When it drops, sure I will be happy, but mentally I've moved beyond SL - we've digested the song for almost 3 months - I want to hear an entire new track, which I'd be surprised if they released before the album drops. Back in the day of real physical singles, we would of already had 2 new tracks with the coveted B-side.

Over the next 4 weeks I expect, a steady climb in print interviews - where Stevie divulges even more detailed information about the record. The O Show (I'm keeping my expectations for this low, as not to be too disappointed) , The SL video, slow leaks of additional new publicity photo's, and possibly promotional streaming of the full album about a week before May 3rd. But I think the real kick-off will begin the week of May 3rd and after.
