I've tried to do fan portraits in the past - my Stevie came out looking remarkably like Nicole Kidman...then a John Travolta looked just like my brother in law..and my favorite, I tried to do one of George Harrison but it looked just like Simon Le bon instead.
SO I gave up my fan portraiting. And have never shown any of them to another living soul...had I, you can bet the Stevie one would end up in one of these "bad art" threads

Who can ever forget Johanna, who does really amazing portraits of Stevie, and then ruins them by piling airy-fairy **** all over her?
"Oh what, you're saying I have an angel napping on top of my head?"  Yes, there really are tiny dolphins jumping out Stevie's cape, who appears to be floating in space.  Let's see here...crescent moons, crosses, crescent moons with crosses dangling from them, flowers, butterflies, more cartoon stars...Does this woman have some strange fetishes?  Here we have a somewhat incongruous pileup of random Stevie-related images. God knows why the wolf is there, besides being one of Johanna's fetishes.  Hmm...crescent moon, fairy wings, overly literal lyrical interpretations...must be Johanna!  Crescent moon, unnaturally tame predatory wildlife, disturbing airy-fairyness... I wonder who drew this?  More dolphins, more foreground sparklies, more ridiculous blue hair...  AGAIN with the fu**ing wolves!!!  On the plus side, I kinda like this one. It only takes a couple minutes to edit out the wankery.

When threatened by gigantic roses, Stevie's left eye suddenly shifts position and grows to tremendous proportions.
