yeah, it sucks to see families that don't do this to their kids. I walk around with a lot of guilt. I could go on and on about various things, but I'll tell one more and then let it go.

my grandma used to always tell me "when you grow up you won't ever come see me. you'll forget me and I'll be alone" and I'd always say "no I won't, I love you and I'll come see you" - so, of course now that I'm grown and have responsibility I don't really get to see her as much as I'd like so every chance she gets she tells me about all the times she told me that and in an "I told you so" way. makes me feel like poo. but no one seems to mention the fact that she comes here to see my aunt and never bothers to call me and let me know she's in town.
