But why play mind games after so many years? he just wanted to mess w her head? were they 15? I don't know if believe they had any great emotional connection or closeness by then. I never heard anything that backs that up.

There are a few odd theories as to why stevie had him fired... she was soo hurt because he wouldn't sing that ridiculous Borrowed song w her.. she was tired of waiting for him to leave his wife and was pissed when he showed up w the family.. i mean come on. They were adults who have plenty of money. If they wanted to screw around and/or be together, they would have found a way to make it happen. but the truth according to what I have heard, was simply that they did not get alongggggg.

What i DID hear from a very good source was that stevie was prob in bed w mike campbell. After tom died, she wanted him in the band and knew that wasn't gonna happen with lindsey still there. and she was plotting that months before the musicares "smirk" fiasco. there was no smirk. she was just sick of LB.
