This was brought up before and a lot of people didn't believe it, but here is Red Stewart on TV actually saying he did it. I remember thinking of Stevie when I saw this who having the same problems with her nose.

Stevie wasn't speaking metaphorically when she said I Can't Wait.

yes
At least Rod was honest and grounded enough to know the cocaine was ruining his voice. Stevie could care less. Some of those RAL demos and some RAL performances were horrific that I cant understand how she could not hear herself. But I suppose when you live in a bubble and everyone feeds off you and tells you how wonderful you are that you cant see the truth.

Think of all the references you could annoy us with!

I've never read it, either. I was OBSESSED with the first one, and read it at least 30 times. I've owned the second one for YEARS, and have never made it past the first few pages.

I'd say this is because I ASSumed the first one was true. And now I know that he's a loser and a liar.

If I read it, I'd skip all the pages until 1990 or the new material, but I'm not interested any more; now I know the kind of person he is, I'd never pay for that book.

The second book is nothing like the first book. There are no revelations or juicy parts. Its a kiss and make up book to his ex wife Jenny, Bob Weston, Bob Welch, his kids, and so many other people he wronged in his life. There are no secrets or negative parts of the book. Its Mick praising all the people he s*it on his entire life. I tried to sell it on Ebay after reading it but I had no offers. There were so many details he could have talked about especially where his last book left off. But none were revealed. I suppose the book was some sort of therapy for him because of some guilt he may have had.

Christine’s mid 80s solo era style was questionable. She looked great during Mirage and she looked great during Tango, but her solo era in the mid 80s… her hair style was bad and those huge jackets with then towering shoulder pads… yikes. I know that was the style back then, but she looked so much better during Tango.

I agree. I got flamed here once for saying the same thing. But lets be real, they all looked weird in the mid 80s. Lindsey's high hair was a goof. Its almost like Chris was too cool already for the 80s but those big 80s pattern jackets were a miss. But would they not be on anyone? When I first saw the Got A Hold On Me Video, my first reaction was "Why did Chris let someone butcher her hair." She looked older and not as elegant from Mirage. I agree, she looks so much better in the late 80s during Tango and even 1990 for BTM.
Stevie's hair in the mid to late 80s was weird too. I hated that helmet head with straight side bangs. Those shoulder pads Stevie started to wear in 1987 and 1989 were ridiculous.

You Bozo. These words are literally better than Stevie’s original. They’re more true to life.

It's organic, circular, cyclical, weird, profound, and insane
