Thumbs up Solid Gold Performances
Solid Gold was such a pivotal show in the 1980s for artists to promote their music. It was how we got to see people perform outside of videos even though most of it was lip syncing. Fleetwood Mac never appeared on the show but the song Tusk was performed by the USC marching and they showed the video. Here are some of Fleetwood Mac members Solid Gold performances.

That's Steve Ross! The Zoo also dressed in tuxes when they performed in 1983 on Rock Palace on NBC. They played TONIGHT and ANGEL COME HOME.

When I saw Mick's video in 1983 I thought it was him singing since he is lip syncing in the video. Rather strange video until a beautiful Stevie shows up. Their solo albums were released almost at the same time in 1983. I am sure I Want You Back and If Anyone Falls were filmed nearly back to back.

In late 1977, he went super-shaggy beard, like a deranged rabbi. Right after that — at some point in 1978 — he went completely clean-shaven (like Lindsey). But in 1979, he was back with his normal beard.

He’s obviously nuttier than Lindsey ever was.
