Build the wall Mr "T" .We dont need those cowardly young men refugees here in the states with unchecked backgrounds..They should stay in their countries and fight against ISIS and proudly take their country back. Its like the Vietnam draft dodgers here in the states leaving to Canada and Mexico back in the 1960's..

BBC has declared it for Leave now, they are almost a million votes ahead with maybe 60 polls to report of 382. A lot of people had been predicting a Stay victory, who knows if that didn't cause a few who might have voted that way to not bother? Plus flooding in London looked fairly miserable.

It looks to me to be a bit of the isolationist anti-immigrant thing that other places are experiencing.

We are well into the 21st century- exactly how effective do you think a wall would be? It was a colossal failure for China several centuries ago, and would be a much greater farce today. A wall is going to stop Isis?

That's such a disgusting thing to say on so many different levels. You should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself.

I agree, to me it seems isolationist and anti-immigration

This is not what I wanted to wake up to.... a photo of a very happy Nigel Farage on the front of the Guardian News site, with headlines - global markets in freefall, sterling has collapsed ....

Erm. It looks like things didn't quite turn out quite right.
Sterling has dropped 10% against the dollar overnight. Looks like we are independent of Europe and heading for recession.

I said to a friend the other day "Why are we having this referendum, who decided we needed it? " She explained the conservatives promised it before they were elected. I was guessing this was to try to win votes This article sums up the whole situation quite well. Bloody David Cameron (you can probably tell I didn't vote Conservative in the last election)

Cameron has lost his job – his Teflon cockiness has finally worn off

As the pound plunges and the markets slide, remember that this entire referendum was called by David Cameron. The prime minister has lost his big gamble – and the rest of the country will pay the price.

Financial chaos, economic crisis, the likely breakaway of Scotland and possibly Northern Ireland: quite a morning’s work for the Bullingdon Club.

Remember as the pound plunges and the markets slide that this entire referendum was called by David Cameron to fend off Nigel Farage and his own Tory ultras. There was no public outcry for a ballot – but for the sake of a bit of internal party management, he called one anyway. He gambled Britain and Europe’s future to shore up his own position. With all the confidence of a member of the Etonian officer class, he thought he’d win. Instead he has bungled so badly that the fallout will drag on for years, disrupting tens of millions of lives across Europe. (full article above)

You make some great points. I started another thread about this because it deserves it.

The "Supreme Court Of The United States" has just dealt a crushing blow to Obama's immigration plan...

The Supreme Court on Thursday blocked President Obama’s immigration executive actions, in a tie decision that delivers a win to states challenging his plan to give a deportation reprieve to millions of illegal immigrants.

The justices' one-sentence opinion on Thursday marks a major setback for the administration, effectively killing the plan for the duration of Obama's presidency.

The judgment could have significant political and legal consequences in a presidential election year highlighted by competing rhetoric over immigration. As the ruling was announced, pro-immigration activists filled the sidewalk in front of the court, some crying as the ruling became public. Critics of the policy touted the decision as a strong statement against "executive abuses."

"The Constitution is clear: The president is not permitted to write laws—only Congress is. House Speaker Paul Ryan said in a statement, "This is another major victory in our fight to restore the separation of powers," , Adding that the ruling rendered Obama's actions "null and void."
Fox News

Obama needs to remember he can not use "Executive Orders" to write laws...
