She said once that while at Betty Ford she was given an exercise where she was asked to describe the difference between the Stevie onstage and the Stevie in real life and she said it was the hardest thing she'd had to do.

I would love to hear the outcome of that exercise. I'd also like to know about the relationship she had with her dad and how that shaped her relationships with men.

Did her father dote over her? Or maybe he worked too much and Stevie needed his attention?
