Of course there is no burping. LOL. But Stevie was Sheryl's IDOL. I love Grohl and he has a great pedigree. But he is about 5 rungs beneath her on the rock status chart.

(Not to mention the fact that Sheryl Crow got much more adventurous vocals out of her on "Sorcerer" and "It's Only Love," than anything Lindsey got out of her on 'Say You Will.')

Word. Where the hell did the falsetto come from? It was heavenly.

And Dave Stewart is also far from a starry-eyed newbie. That man has been in the business for over 40 years, and has worked with everyone from Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney to Tom Petty and Bono. He's not going to play sycophant to Stevie Nicks.

Oh I think he totally did. His career can't come close to hers in terms of Icon status. Eurythmics sold a TON of records, and you and I both know he was the architect of much of that. But all anyone remembers is Annie. In spite of that, her solo career has been epic. And his has not. He is the Lindsey. And don't forget that he slept with Stevie. God knows what that means in the grand scheme of things. She went sniffing around for him backstage at the Wiltern the week they were on the cover of Rolling Stone and he somehow ended up back at her house.

The bottom line is, she and Lindsey have too much baggage. They bring out the worst in each other just as easily as they bring out the best in each other. If not moreso. Recording with Lindsey in the long-term is not enjoyable for her.

100% agreed.
