Don't get me wrong, I don't expect any of the releases to skyrocket to the top of the music charts. However, that would be very cool.
Maybe Lindsey should suggest they go record at Grohls studio and use the old board.

Did Stevie lose weight? She looks better than she did in Trouble In Shangri La days. She looked awesome on David Letterman. No one would ever guess her age. She has taken good care of herself in her later years. And that outfight looks great on her.

I thought it was a real powerful performance. She looks good here and works very well with Dave Grohl and The Sound City Players.

I haven't seen Lori since IYD came out at the Wiltern. She looks older since then.

Sharon, on the other hand, never seems to age. She looks like wax.

TV cameras do strange things to peoples looks.I've met and seen artists and TV news people in person and they look different.

Stevie Stevie asked them to adjust the earpiece she had. She then started begging to wear her sunglasses. "I have really good sunglasses!" She said she needed to see the screen since it was a new song. I guess they decided she shouldn't wear them. They did the song again, Stevie said she needed to rest, and then they dissapeared.

The actual performance was 100 times better than the rehearsal! I think she must have just psyched herself up for the five minute song. She rocked!!! I was so proud of her!
Really?? This amazes me that an artist of her stature would have to beg for anything. She should just channel her inner Diva (think, Diana Ross, Mariah Carey, Madonna etc) and say "I need/want my glasses and I'm wearing them and find a way to make this work for me". Yikes. The woman is 64 years old and a legend. Why is she begging for anything?? grrr

While they were at it they should of asked her to re enact the cover of the Buckingham Nicks album.

The second she started singing I could tell she had a cold yet that didn't stop her from nailing it. She sounded fantastic and the band was awesome. I wish she would ditch all her slow songs for a tour or two and show the world the true rock and roll singer she was born to be.

Awesome performance, I thought. I liked the Secret Love dancing.

And the interaction with Dave at the end.

Believe me, don't believe me, it's all good -

I came across the line "She twirls around and starts to laugh" a few years back, on the Internet, under a pseudonym that looked "hauntingly familiar." I thought it was a wonderful poem and thought it had potential to become a great song. My memory is *VERY* hazy on this, it may have been allpoetry.com but I haven't bothered to search for it because it seems very unlikely that I'll be able to re-find it at this point.

(And so yes, it was "she" instead of "he" at that point. That I'm reasonably clear on in my memory.)

I believe this song also has some elements of "Stay Away" in it. That's a wonderful unpublished song that can be found on Nancy's great site. (buckinghamnicks.net.)

I very much wish that one would be released as a song, as it is, because I think it has potential to be one of her best. imo it's incredibly deep.

Rock on!
