I think Anne Heche is quite intelligent. She was just crazy. I think she was needy, but not needy in a passive way. She maintains a certain control. In her relationships, she seems to be driving, even while riding shotgun.

Of course, the relationship only lasted a short time, but if it had been up to Lindsey, it would have been longer, I'd venture to say.

As for CAH, she was probably high most of the time she was with Lindsey, so she sounded even stupider during those times. Of course, he was high too, so maybe she didn't seem extremely dumb when his ears were under the influence.

thanks for clarifying. agreed - i would not count Heche among pretty only / not very intelligent LB exes; but definitely among damsel in distress / in need of a rescuing category. i bet she told him parts of her story on that plane and that's why he was so intrigued.

back to intelligence part, i was specifically thinking of 2 of his exes, CAH being one of them.

Ann tied to the rail tracks by Mick Fleetwood in the guise of Victorian villain, completel with curled moustache for a'twiddlin'. Lindsey swooping in not long later to rescue her,most importantly in the guise of Lord Flashheart from Blackadder the second.

This mental image makes very little logical sense, yet pleases me greatly.

Seriously, when Storms started off with CAH and her six sisters all curled up in chairs around their house reading, I knew it was going to be a hilarious bumpy ride. All of them were probably reading different versions of Cat in the Hat.

Personally, you all may flame me for this, but seeing CAH in that plastic surgery vid I first do not think she is in any way pretty for a lady in her 40's, and she absolutely sounds about as bright as a lump of coal. It's quite obvious to me she is very Hollywood in a way that many people who have made it in some degree (by hooking up, modeling, doing whatever for money and 15 minutes of stardom) are moreso than actual Hollywood stars at times. She looks like she's already had work done to begin with. Her ambitions and the things she focuses on are sort of trivial and vapid.

I also don't agree that a woman who is 70 would want to look like she is 30. That isn't true for all women, CAH, only airheads and super-vain princesses I guess. There are so many naturally gorgeous women who are nearly 70. Look at Susan Sarandon in this recent photo:

This lady is 66 years old and she is OWNING it. I also know plenty of gorgeous women in their older years who have embraced aging with grace and beauty.

It's OK to get a little nip/tuck but CAH seems to have gone overboard and, worse, she seems to think it defines who she is. I don't care for her, her personality, or anything I have really come to learn about her. Lindsey was no angel and he did some things I am certain he regrets, but he has aged gracefully and with dignity. I have to respect that.

Also, Anne Heche doesn't strike me as particularly intelligent as much as highly dramatic and attention-seeking. She's an average actress and she isn't the most attractive of women, but even she has more going on upstairs than CAH.

Compared to CAH, Stevie is a goddess and Kristen has the face of an angel. I won't take it back. Maybe he did come full circle.

And I know there was some person who came on here supporting that Cheri woman who was with LB when he made OOTC. I haven't got much to say about her, as I don't know anything about their relationship outside of heresay, but that video of her and Lindsey just...no...he just seems so lost:

She looks like nothing more than arm candy, to me. Like that annoying preppy girl in all of those insipid teen movies who clings tightly to her football player boyfriend, totally oblivious to the fact that he has no interest at all in her. When in reality he has his eyes on the girl in the back with glasses, an out of fashion outfit and an exalting personality.

The drugs took over. But, for whatever reason, she was good for him for 4-5 years and I've got to respect that and she may have kept him out of trouble by being in his life. And to me, it looks like Lindsey clings to her more than she does to him. When they were giving that interview in Japan and he was kissing her between questions, I'm surprised it didn't make his bandmates vomit to have to put up with all of that.

Michele, I see Lindsey as a guy who is in dire need of constant affection and attention. He isolates himself within his 'room' (which could be interpreted literally or figuratively). He loves being fawned over, hugged, kissed, etc. I can see that about him all the way back to Stevie, his song lyrics, his personality. Even his dang home videos where he's constantly searching for Kristen PDA. It's just who he is.

I also think he liked to drive the knife into Stevie a little with all that CAH PDA. He knew how it made her feel. LB is many things, but innocent is definitely not one of them.
