I think Anne Heche is quite intelligent. She was just crazy. I think she was needy, but not needy in a passive way. She maintains a certain control. In her relationships, she seems to be driving, even while riding shotgun.
Of course, the relationship only lasted a short time, but if it had been up to Lindsey, it would have been longer, I'd venture to say. As for CAH, she was probably high most of the time she was with Lindsey, so she sounded even stupider during those times. Of course, he was high too, so maybe she didn't seem extremely dumb when his ears were under the influence. Michele
