I remember when Stella McCartney said that her mother was the main source for and inspiration behind her profession, because she was the kind of lady who would wear an old flower dress and slippers with confidence. She was a minimilist who remained true to herself until the end, and I personally thought she was a wonderful photographer.

Macca himself: "Linda was the love of my life. I'll never love anyone like her." (2001, CNN Access)

Well, no one ever said Paul would replace her so Im not sure where your snark is coming from. I happen to remember when Paul first got involved with her, how the public saw her and how it was very VERY hard to accept her. You dont have to agree, but you sure as hell cant change history. and I was THERE. were you? I thought not.
