But for her to claim she had to crawl or wait on him while injured around seems a bit much. Seriously? There aren't any servants at that house to cook and help take care of the baby? And there are laws for the disabled - no way should she have had to crawl up airplane stairs, even if Paul did neglect to make prior arrangements. No way.

I dunno. Just seems strange. And if my husband gave me my own office & I complained about it, he's probably call me an ungrateful bitch too. And he'd be right.

I thought the same thing about the ugrateful bitch thing...

And I think you hit the nail on the head...I don't doubt the man drinks - and maybe he said some mean stuff - but yeah the crawling and all that...erm no. I don't buy that.

I totally agree, he isn't a saint but I really can't see him violent. And in a tabloid era it's practically impossible to keep hidden this kind of informations with a famous person who's been under the spotlights for more than 40 years. IMO, she wants those 100 millions.

I agree that all she cares about is the money. Too bad she isn't thinking what this will do to their little girl.

I cant believe all the people dumping on Heather here....I mean, we dont really know all that much about her except that she's an activist and former model and married Paul....and there had to be something good to start with or he wouldnt have married her

In my book it takes TWO to tango and Im sure there's plenty of blame to go around on both sides....AND, I dont think she'd be making these claims publicly if she didnt have the proof (or whatever) to back them up. I have a feeling that there's probably some truth to them, and I can TOTALLY see a depressed Paul being drunk and verbally abusive. Maybe even more. I can believe he'd be callous toward her as well. That claim that she had to crawl up the airplane stairs? What would be the point of her even saying it if she didnt have some sort of corroboration?

In any event I guess we'll find out.

ps: I never knew what he saw in Linda, I never liked Linda. Dont much care for Yoko either Love's a funny thing, aint it?

If you take a look at some of the fansites that collect articles about Paul you will find out that Heather is quite creative with the truth (to say it diplomatically). Many people, her former husbands/lovers, friends and even her own father were forced to talk to the press to set the record straight. Yes, "forced", because more than once Heather didn't hesitate to tell quite sensational and damaging stories about them in order to elevate herself and make herself look like this tough survivor who has fought against the odds. Making Paul the latest in that row of "demons" who did everything to make poor Saint Heather's life hell on earth is really no surprise. Or read interviews with Paul's former PR man Geoff Baker who can tell you a lot about how Lady Heather put a bit too much emphasis on "Lady" in the way she treated Paul's staff. It's not a surprise that Paul mentioned that as "rude behaviour" in the divorce papers.

She has admittedly done great things for amputees, but she has also used and hurt a lot of people who really loved her in order to climb up the ladder and she didn't have any problems with lying to these people and selling even them a revised biography of her life if she saw the need to reach her goals.

You wondered what Paul saw in Linda? Take a look at Danny Field's biography about her or read some of the things friends, musicians and journalists have said about her and you'll get the answer. If it wasn't for Linda, Paul probably wouldn't be making music anymore. After the Beatles split, Paul sank into a deep depression and didn't do anything but lie around, while Linda took care of everything, including his business with the help of her father and brother who are lawyers in NY. She also gave him the much-needed kick in the a** to do something productive with his life again. Even Paul admitted that later in his semi-autobiography.

I totally agree with all your points. Paul and Linda were a beautiful couple...true soulmates. I always thought he jumped too quickly into the relationship with Heather, he just did not have enough time to grieve and mourn the loss of his true love.

As far as Heather's allegations...they sound like a bunch of bunk to me. Crawling up airplane steps? Give me a break...chartered/private plans still come with a staff. No pilot or flight attendant would allow a guest to crawl up the steps. That sounds so far fetched.
I seriously doubt Heather cooked on a regular basis, so the story about her being forced to cook after surgery also sounds unbelievable. I tend to think there were staff around who could cook and help care for Beatrice. This is Paul McCartney we are talking about. Even Stevie has help around the house.....and Paul and Heather have a small child, plus she was recuperating from a major operation. I can see Paul yelling at her, smoking pot, getting drunk, mocking her. I hope he called her an ungrateful bitch if she complained about the office she was given, I know my husband would have probably said the same thing to me. I have read a few articles about Heather and her activism work and she does deserve alot of credit for that. However, there are some articles that talk about her using Paul's name, to get more money or to throw around for power, and him being very unhappy with that. She often tried to get him to participate in charities that he did not want to as well.

I still say there's two sides to every story and Im inclined to believe there must be some truth to Heather's claims or she wouldnt make them, especially in a Court forum where you KNOW everything is going to be seen under a microscope. you just DONT make up wild accusations there because you 1) run the risk of losing credibility and 2) open yourself up to prosecution for making false accusations.

Linda may have pulled Paul out of his funk but I still dont know what he saw in her. I never liked her.
