It's made with bisquick, there's not actualy oil or "frying" so oven-fried is really a misnomer - but damned if this isn't one of the tastiest meals ever.

mmm...that sounds good...I heard on the news that they said don't buy organic spinach or something like that...anybody know the story?
Yeah - people in some 21 states have been sickened by E.Coli after eating raw packaged spinach.
Some organic companies are claiming the FDA has cleared their brands or their Spinach - that is not the case, at this time the FDA is urging people to not eat ANY packaged raw spinach. Even if you wash and/or cook it.
The first confirmed case has popped up in Colorad - and seeing as how I've had a Spinach salad every day for the last 3 weeks - I was worried - but I think I'm in the clear.
Either way - many people are still buying spinach from farmers markets and such - but stores and restaurants have pretty much stopped selling it.

My damn tooth broke yesterday so I'm off to the dentist soon. I was eating a Three Musketeers. I thought it was something that came from the chocolate. Ew. But then realized it was a piece of tooth and I had one missing! It's one that had a band on it when I had braces so it had a lot of decay. Plus it is a molar I've had since I was 5 so it's been filled and filled. Ugh. I hope I don't need a root canal but I might. I hate the dentist. HATE IT.

Oh, that reminds me - there is this "recipe" from the South Beach diet that I really like. It's the dessert for phase 1. The point of it is that it is dessert, but doesn't have carbs, really, just protein. I thought it would be gross, but I really like it:
1/2 cup part skim ricotta cheese
1 fake sugar packet
about a capful of vanilla extract
stir
dash cinammon atop, if you wish.
Ta Da!
There's different kinds, too, like almond (where you use almond extract and vanilla, and sprinkle slivered almonds on top)
and lemon (same thing, add lemon zest)
Mocha (add some kind of baking chocolate, I forgot exactly)
I've only had the plain vanilla one so far - it's yummy. I thought the texture might get to me, but I really like the texture, too. And I had never eaten ricotta, really (I'm sure the gram put it in the lasagna, but otherwise never), so I was like "cheese is sour, eww!" but as everyone else already probably knows, ricotta has no taste practically, and when you put "sugar" and vanilla in it it just tastes sweet and creamy.

Yes, Cottage Doubles. I love them, but they're 3 WW points so I've been conshohokening my own: 1 tropical fruit cup & a small serving of 1% lowfat cottage cheese - down to 2 points, and I can have more than the prepackaged provide. :D You're right, cottage cheese doesn't have as much sugar as yogurt, plus there's more protein.

That's because it's not a diet dear Jazz.
I firmly stand behind weight watchers because rather than restricting what you can eat, it teaches better choices, portion control etc...it's great - and you get your set amount of points, plus 35 flex points to work with each week - and when you exercise you add more points to your day as well :D
I actually miss the old non-point system - and they do have a non-points system - but I wasn't disciplined enough to try it...
Anyway....sorry I'm just a big fan of WW :D

For me too. The first week or 2 sucks cuz you think you're starving & it's a big change keeping track of ever little thing you eat, but it gets much easier after that. Like Dee said, it's a life change, not just a diet.
