Greta vs. For What It's Worth Street Angel vs. In Your Dreams (verdict is out, I kind of have a soft spot for SA the song) Docklands vs. Wide Sargasso Sea (believe it or not - I do find the chorus of Docklands catchy whereas WSS does nothing for me) Listen To The Rain vs. New Orleans Destiny vs. Moonlight Unconditional Love vs. Annabel Lee Love Is Like A River vs. Soldier's Angel Rose Garden vs. Everybody Loves You Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind vs. Ghosts Are Gone Just Like A Woman vs. You May Be The One Kick It vs. Italian Summer Jane vs. Cheaper Than Free (tie) (of all the songs in which Dave wrote the music this is actually my favorite. I love the sentiment of this song) I had yet to offer my feelings about IYD mainly due to the fact I just didn’t feel like getting into it but I find the CD a bit overrated to be honest. I love 2 songs, “Secret Love” and “For What It’s Worth.” To me these are classic Stevie. I'm not really feeling the Dave Stewart tracks in which he wrote the music (something I did not know when I first listened to the CD in full the first couple of times). Later when I went back and read the liner notes, I noticed that the songs I like the best are the ones where Dave did not write the music. This is not meant to be a diss at Dave. I know many of you love love love this new CD and I don’t want to take that away from anyone. I’m happy that Stevie is back and she seems to be very happy with the CD which is fine, but my thing is, since when did Stevie rely so heavily on someone else to write the music? Dave wrote the music for more than half the CD. It doesn’t feel like a Stevie CD for me personally. There are two stand out tracks that I love (SL and FWIW), a few others I like but not love (New Orleans, Annabel Lee, and Moonlight) and others where I just do not get the appeal (WSS, GAG and Everybody Loves You). Maybe in time my feelings will change but as of now …. Don't hate me

Before I even looked, I was thinking that the only song on Street Angel that would come close to getting a nod was "Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind", but then I saw it up against "Ghosts Are Gone" and thought...damn.
Ok, another IYD sweep.
