Default Carol Ann Harris / Storms related track

My 2 sons form half of a British band called Audio Repeat. I posted a while ago about a demo track they'd recorded called "If I Took You Away" which took its inspiration from the relationship between Carol Ann Harris and Lindsey :

This is just a quick follow up. Carol Ann Harris has since heard this demo and said some extremely nice things about it. She even said the guitar playing reminded her a little of Lindsey's and that the track had a Fleetwood Mac feel to it. She also offered a little constructive criticism, saying it might not 'grab' people straight away as it's almost 50 seconds before it 'kicks in' - which is a fair point.. and at least we know she wasn't just being nice for the sake of it lol.

I know CAH isn't particularly popular in these parts.. but I have to say, she was very nice and offered lots of ecouragement to my boys (even reminded them of the hardships Lindsey and Stevie endured before 'making it').

Incidentally, they're due to record this track properly in the near future - and I have their 'ok' to send it to any of you guys who like/want it.

The current demo can be heard on their myspace page : www.myspace.com/audiorepeat

Glad to hear that CAH was nice to your sons. I'm not completely against her or anything. I think she should have treated each person evenly in her book and pointed out places where she was at fault, but other than that, she's okay.
I like the song! Your sons do great work!

Thanks for your kind words HR - I'll be sure to pass them on

And yeah.. I hear what you're saying about the book.. I'm pretty sure a lot of people feel the same way. I can't criticise too much though.. cos I have a selective memory that always shows me in the best light

That's funny. It opens sounding like MODERN DAY lindsey, then it turns into Wedding Present and then lindsey again. it does capture the lindsey/cah relationship. interesting.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.
