I'm going to get a swine flu shot -- if they're ever available in enough quantity!
Stupid government can't even manage to distribute a flu vaccine in adequate numbers.

This is why it really pisses me off when the doctors and other health professionals are saying there's "no" risk. There's always a risk when it comes to vaccines, or at least there has been in the past, every single time. It seems to me that the risk tends to be very very low, but the doctors and governments have no right to try to obfuscate the fact that there is a risk. Seems to me they THINK they're doing the right thing - "More people will get the vaccine and so more people will be saved" - but i.m.o. they're just plain wrong - individuals have the right to have all the information before they make a choice that can affect their health.

Yes, what she's going through is definitely "sad & tragic", but there's no proof that the flu shot caused this. It's sensationalist media bull****.

Just got back from the doctor's office. He thought I had swine flu and bronchitis... luckily, I just have bronchitis. Yay?
But it made me think of this thread.
