Ive heard it seems to be rougher when you get that as an adult. I cant remember it being all that bad when I was a kid, but then, I cant hardly remember my kid days either

Nah don't worry I'mtotally fine. Only problem is all the time off work now (I work at a junior high school so I have to stay away for a week). The boredom begins to set in. Hence my song spoof (but there may be more ahead )

I don't know what's more odd... that I never got it as a kid, or that I missed the vaccination. Either way, it sure was a surprise to get it now.. but like you say, better younger than older.

I actually like my puffed-up face... It usually looks too narrow. Not sure how to go about keeping it like this permanently though.

They had an MMR vaccination in Junior High for anyone who wanted it, but I forgot about it and didn't have the signed permission slip from my mum.

Eeek. Well maybe you can get one. You don't want measels or rubella, and it's bad enough you've got mumps. Hope you're under good care now.
