goodbye baby

well, today i was on the stevie nicks underground i think, and i saw a poll regarding what goodbye baby was about. the most popular response was stevie's abortion of don henley's child. i immediately listened to the song and i felt so so sad after looking at it through that lens. i had always regarded it as a lullaby type song. does anyone else agree with the abortion interpretation or is this just already well known and i'm in the dark?
