I think part of my reason tho is that she has been in my life since I was born, and a huge part of my life for most of it. However, I kinda know how you feel. When I was 15, I discovered the band My Chemical Romance. And I loved them. Looooved them. I was completely obsessed. I spent the next two years that way. And then, one day, I just got over them. I pretty much stopped listening to them. I didn't even buy their black parade album when it came out. But then, last year, I got in the mood to listen to them again and I went out and bought that album and fell in love with them all over again. I think when you find a new band and everything is awesome and your obsession grows, you get burnt out after a while. And I know here recently I haven't been on The Ledge quite as often because it seems there isn't much news other than the updates about the new album. But I don't think you've lost your love for Stevie. I think you will find it again. And a lot of people say you can never return to the way it was when you first discovered her. I disagree. You have only been a fan for 3 years. You may not have seen her solo yet. And you haven't seen her release new music. There is a whole wave of new Stevieness coming right at you in the future and it may be more amazing then the first one. Enjoy your other music, but believe me, there will be some idle Tuesday when one of her songs comes on your iPod and you're right back to where you were three years ago
First of all, Thank you all for helping me with this. It seems like everyone of you who have gone through the same thing as I'm doing now think the same as I do inside my heart. That "love is like a river...." is the words when you're in this part of life. And you're just living life and things change, but yeah as you all said, I'll go back to Stevie. I'm sure. And as someone said you had posters on your wall but aren't that obsessed as you were before. I also still have the posters on my wall, a poster I made after seeing The Mac live and a Say you will poster. And I have my Stevie/Mac place in my room where I have all the cd's, dvd's, lp's, books etc..so they aren't compleatly gone in my life, and I'm still listening to them sometimes. But not as before.

And so, reply to you APerfectLie, I became a fan just after CV was released, so I followed her tour on youtube. And I've followed every little tour she did on youtube. Because I'm not able, and I guess I'll never be, to see her solo live. I live in Sweden and I really doubt she'll ever come here. I can't go to the US because I'm in school and so...but I'll never stop wish she'll come here, because I was so chocked when The Mac came here last year. And no, I haven't seen her release new music and I'm really looking forward to that. I have seen her releasing 2 greatest hits and one dvd so it's the time now. XD Hope I'll come back then, relly hope

Thank you ALL for the help! I love you .

I don't see the need to be broken hearted about this?! There is more to life than Stevie Nicks? ::ducking::

I go through cycles of the music I listen to. I can honestly say I haven't listened to Stevie or FM in months. It doesn't mean I love the music any less

I think what your going through is normal. I know im 15 & ever since i was an ittybitty baby all i ever herd was Stevie & FM. & Thus became me being a giant fan. I know my dad used to be like me too, and he's drifted somewhat. He likes, Snow Patrol, & Pink & Seal. But I know he still loves her and FM. Sometimes you need to take a break. When I listen to The Eagles, Heart or Pink Floyd I feel like i'm ditching her. But then I don't think Stevie sit and listens to herself for months and years. I think she needs a break from herself sometimes

HowStillMyLove- I think you just said it all- "I think she needs a break from herself sometimes." This is a thread that I can relate to. I kind of wandered off in my Stevie obsession, and just came back after seeing her in Santa Barbara.

Gotta go...I need a break from myself too! lol..

Default I Can Relate

I became a die-hard in 2001 and from then until 2006 I was totally obsessed. Then something awful happened in my life and thinking about Stevie or talking about her or listening to her music made me extremely said so I avoided all things Stevie. Then, when my life turned around in 2008 I slowly started listening to the music again and then of course I went to a solo show in 2008 and 2 FM shows in 2009 and very organically she just came back to me and now I'm into her more than ever! My advise would be not to worry about it too much. It is possible that you have gone through your obsessed phase and are now just a regular fan and that's not a bad thing. You know, being a chiffonhead can't be forced. It's also possible that it's only temporary (like mine was) and one day you will wake up and relize how desperately you need to see your gypsy! Either way it goes, she still has an extremely significant place in your heart and that can never charge.

I agree. Calm down. If you are honestly crying simply because Stevie Nicks music is no longer as fresh to you, I would take a step back and look at things closely. Nothing bad has happened. As you can see, we all go thru phases like what you are describing. To get so upset about it is not healthy though.

Just do what you love- listen to the music that inspires you. If Stevie Nicks music is not what makes you happy right now, then so be it. Trust me- her music will always hold a special place in your heart. It just may no longer be a daily pleasure in your life. Music can be a bit like romance- we never forget our first love.
