That's Marty Hom, tour manager for Fleetwood Mac, Stevie, Bette Midler, etc.

I know she was sick when the album came out in the US and some things were cancelled, but she seems to be doing more press in the UK for the album than she did in the US.

Ah - from reading everyone posts I now realise who Karen is!! I took two cd sleeves for Stevie to sign one for my daughter but put both our names on the stcky we were given - as i was standing infront of Stevie the security man (the tall one) told me she would not do two and then a women came forward which I assume was Karen and Stevie was saying what's your name and which is your daughter and then Karen repeated!!! But the security man told me to put the other sleeve in my bag so only got one signed with both our names on it. Were all those security guards from the Stevie camp then?? I assumed they were HMV??

That sounds unfair. From what I've seen others got numerous sleeves signed. Were you far back in the queue? Maybe time was getting on?

That security guy was an arsehole ! She said that she would see *everyone* and sign as many copies of the CD as you had. I hope he wasn't one of Stevie's security. He was up and down the alleyway all day too, herding us around - he wouldn't let us move over to the other side at one point to get shade ! Eejit.

Yes he sure was but by the time I got to Stevie it was around 7.15 and one of the staff said they were shutting the shop at 8pm or was it 8.30 and there were a lot of people behind me still waiting. But it wouldn't have hurst for Stevie to sign both and I felt lke he interfered with my few seconds with Stevie - I should have just asked her directly!!

purplehaze, where abouts did you manage to find your picture? I tried looking for more, firsty by enquiring to hmv, who then told me to try the photographer directly which i did, and he wasn't too happy to be contacted, and wasn't willing to help!
