HMV London signing
 

just got back from the signing and my first ever meet with Stevie..:]. It was quite mobbed! I was lucky enough to be one of the first up to meet her after she did a really sweet speech. She mentioned how sad she was about the death of great record shops like HMV which just don't exist any more in USA and the onslaught of digital down loads . Anyway it was just magical to spend just a few seconds with her and get my photo opportunity.....I think she was a little freaked out by the size of the crowd and how she was going to get through them all....hope no one was dissaponted..:sorry:

So this probably marks the end of a truly unprecidented UK promotional tour! So much amazing coverage and reviews and of course her truly memorable performance at Hyde Park London yesterday in front of 40,000 people on the most beautiful hot and sunny day !!......COME BACK SOON STEVIE US BRITS LOVE YOU !!!! :thumbsup:

I've just got back home too. Am on such a high. Was a really great turn out. Stevie was lovely - and great that she signed everyone's name too, rather than just quickly signing her own name.

I hope that after the reception she has received in the UK over the last few weeks, that she decides to play a couple of dates here. Finger crossed!

Everybody keeps talking about the "London Heat" in regards to Stevie's clothing for the Hard Rock Calling show and now this HMV signing. I just looked online, the highs are in the 70s over there right now... that's a winter day in Texas! :p

Gotta say that I love, love, LOVE Stevie's hair! :nod: And I think it's cute Stevie's boots match her hair hehe.

Bless her.... All this typical London drizzle and grey for four weeks then we slam her with a heatwave at her big moment ....me thinks her stylist is not a ever ready London girl ;)

Menopause is over...time for cold flashes.

But, she looks pretty, anyway. I'd rather see this bizarro world outfit than the on-stage 20 + year old black dress.

I'm like a broken record, but I'm just so pleased it's all gone so well and she's had such a friendly reception in London. Would be beyond amazing if she could just come baaaaaaaack!!!

Her outfit is cracking me up but she's adorable. She looks stunning and very youthful and happy. I CANNOT GET OVER THIS HAIR. It's perfect.
