The Buckingham-Nicks saga (whose exaltedly melodramatic qualities are usually characterized by the hyperromantic Nicks) was laid out in "Over My Head":

Nicks gets labeled the prescient one--the one who foretells the future in song. But Chris McVie has earned that title more than Nicks.

As I think back over McVie's songs, they describe the saga more clearly than Nicks does in her own songs.

True, but these quotes are almost ten years old. In more recent interviews he's a lot more mellowed.
