I can see Mick more as a best friend!

He has a great sense of humor and isn't so stuffy or whatever.

I love Stevie's honesty, she don't play little miss know it all!

The past 5 years or so she has seemed to STAY mad at Lindsey. I think she needs to give it up... it's tired. & I think Mick meant Stevie is his friend soulmate. I have one of those myself

Yeah I agree she really needs to give up that kind of I don't know resentment or nastiness she sometimes has towards him. I mean people know that their never gonna be best friends but she seems almost angry or maybe sad that she doesn't have that same kind of relationship she has with Mick.

Stevie's been pretty nice about him in the recent interviews promoing In Your Dreams, how she was talking about him helping with Soldier's Angel and such.

I even recall at the end of a radio interview (which one, I can't remember :/) she said something to the effect of they can't NOT be friends, at this point.

Actually though, she hasn't said a negative thing about him since the Unleashed tour ended. I've been surprised. They must have gotten along relatively well. There will definitely be more clashes in the future, but they seem ok for now and I'm grateful. Remember after the SYW tour she was threatening never even to work with him again. I didn't take her seriously, but for her not to have said anything like that this time is kind of meaningful. They are mellowing out in their old age.

For comparison's sake, it's funny that she said she and Mick would be going to the movies together at 90, but a couple of years ago she said that when she and Lindsey died the other would be sitting on the bed alone. So, movies with Mick and bed with Lindsey -- well she was only SITTING on the bed with Lindsey. Still . . .

Yes the bitterness is so tired. I didn't know they had beef with the unleasehed tour. Dang! What happened!? Actually I didn't even know that lindsey has 3 kids now lol....but anyhoo.....

When she says things like that it makes her appear mean. Does he ever say things with a negative tone about her in interviews?

Yes, but these days he's more passive agressive. He doesn't scream, "Get that schizophrenic _____ off of me."

He's more like:

No one ever thanked me.

I don't think I have one ally in this band.

They went to Hawaii and I didn't. Someone had to stay and finish the album.

Eh, Stevie pretty much always puts her feeling for Lindsey, good or bad, out there.
I think this was early Unleashed, or pre-Unleashed? I actually think both Mick and Stevie got what they wanted when they DID Unleashed, so that mended a bunch of fences with Lindsey.
And, actually, this is the first interview in a long time--during that segment re: Stevie--when I have viewed Mick as full of crap.

I think he was genuinely touched.
