I'm still pulling up floor seats within the first "20" rows on floor sections FLR1-3 (I've pulled up 3rd row yesterday afternoon)...Plenty of good seats still available...lol...Brian J.

No they wouldn't be coming up for general sale at all, if all of them were used. But if the promoters see that there will be 100 seats in prime locations throughout the room, they release them for general sale.

Plus it adds to the coffers of the show. The high-priced tickets are always the first priority because they drum up the most revenue for the show. This is the priority for both promoter and artist. If FM is getting $750K per show (which is what I've heard) they NEED to sell all those seats up close. If they are not being used - they have to be sold. It's illogical to purposely hold them until the end as there's the possibility they waited too long might not be sold in the first place.

Trust me, this happens with nearly EVERY show, sold out or not. In high school, I twice got fifth, then third, row seats to see DMB in Boston - back when they were first getting hot. And I got them three days or so before the show after they had been "Sold Out" for weeks.

I think if I go to a show at all I'll be getting my tickets that week from the box office or half price on EBAY. Either way, it looks like I can't possibly do worse than people who bought from the fan club.

Been there, done that.

Feel free to do the same if you haven't already.

You may not hear anything from management but you'll get a real nice letter from the ATTY GENERAL of CA. He wants to hear from as many people as possible so he can add to the case file of a certain Internet businessman being investigated for ripping people off in some sort of an online fan club scam.

I was on TM last night and was pulling up 13th row for Tampa. I also pulled floor seats again for Birmingham.

I went above and beyond my budget for tickets, not only going to the first Worcester show but also the second show. Then I got a nice heads up from WelshWitchPMD(Thank you!!) about a better ticket on TM for the second night on the floor second row LB's side. I transferred my original ticket to my friend and his seat was left empty in nosebleed section.
So I basically ate a ticket.
Now, here's what I am getting at....I bought my upgraded ticket a few days before the show and very friendly neighbors in the seats next to me had the same story of buying these Floor One Row Two seats a week before the show.
So there is some food for thought, how this was possible could be that someone reserved these seats and didn't want them or Ticketmaster did not pull all seats up or the fanclub didn't have these seats for their club. I don't think we'll ever know exactly what it was.
