I think a lot of people are still suffering from The Fly...

Default no reschedule for us BOO

Hello Stephanie,

We're sorry, but the event has been cancelled. We have not received any word on whether or not they will reschedule it. However, if it would be rescheduled, you would just have to buy new tickets. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

If you need anything else, we're always here for you - just click reply and ask us or visit Ticketmaster.com.

Thanks for being a fan!

Sincerely,

Casey_ZFS780

Default wow

First and foremost, I hope Stevie feels better soon. I am thankful that the tickets I almost purchased for Webster Hall disappeared before I could actually purchase them...I posted here at that time that "I guess I am not supposed to go to the show- everything happens for a reason". Well...I got my reason....that little ticketmaster "error" saved me thousands of dollars.

I feel bad for the people who actually flew to NY just to find out the show was cancelled.

One thing I will never understand when I read this board is why people would spend money they do not have. I have read comments like, " I spent money I didn't have on this trip".... Why would someone go in debt to see a concert or spend money they do not have to fly to a city to see a concert? I am really just trying to understand what it is that would motivate someone to spend money they don't have? Yes, the experience of seeing Stevie is priceless but c'mon. Really?

The timing just couldn't have been worse..
me too, it was surely going to be a special show...I'm just having my own pity party listening to the cd...I feel badly for her, first TISL got overshadowed by 9/11 and now with the death of Bin Laden and her being ill the timing couldn't have been worse...I hope she gets well soon and comes back stronger then ever....

EDIT: Sheryl just tweeted she'll be a mentor on AI tomorrow night. and i see you all already have that info in the AI-related thread.
ok now that hurts!!!!!!

I find it a stretch that she would have gone to London with all the promo stuff she had going on. I mean, she was just interviewed in LA by Perez on Wed afternoon...

Michelle, it looks like you answered your own question. And it sounds like a contradiction to me. You claim the lack of ticket saved you thousands of dollars which you would have spent if a ticket was available flying in to NYC all the way from Phoenix.

Yesterday when I heard about this cancellation/illness I was at Disneyland of all places. I feel so bad for all of you, and for Stevie of course. It has to be super frustrating for her, considering how excited she is about this release. Hopefully, her management will do a good job recouperating the blow that her promotion took this week. First and foremost though, Stevie needs to get better!! I'm praying for her. Poor thing.

when I missed a show after traveling into another state, I cryed my eyes out with heavy heaves for about four hours, then I snapped out of it long enough enjoy the nightlife of the city and then came back to the hotel for even more (drunken) misery. I learned the hard lesson for myself - do not to go to those kind of lengths to see a musician no matter how high the pedestal they've been put on. chit happens.

having said that, I will travel up, down and all around cali for Lindsey, Stevie and FM!

GET HEALTHY MS. NICKS.

I can't think of a city I'd rather be stuck in. Maybe Paris.
I went a few months ago. There are endless amounts of free fun things to do.
And you've got good weather right now.

You know what would be cool?
If one of Stevie's minions could put together a list of Significant Stevie Spots in NYC.
Recording Studios, places she's shopped, her favorite restaurants...then at least
you could still have a Stevie-themed trip. St. Marks Place for platform boots?
Bellinis at Ciprianis? That sort of thing.
