I'm surprised that she wasn't already here. I thought she would fly in this past weekend. Maybe she was supposed to and was holding off to get better and never did?

OK. Not that I'd rather her be sick though! I really doubt she'll do Atlantic City. I hope they announce it soon because I have to cancel my hotel in advance.

I am still coming out because it's too late to cancel my hotel room. I am shortening my stay to one night though unless the hotel is going to charge me a modification fee. In which case I will still be coming for the two days. So I will get in touch with you soon.

Good point. You know she was in NYC on 9/11 & Illume came outta that whole experience, but it did have a big impact on her & on the whole TISL tour for that matter. Right now all the airports are on tightened security & everyone seems to just be watching/waiting for something to happen. So, I could totally see her being cautious or not wanting to be around NYC right now, but at the same time, I think she's just sick. I don't think she'd miss out on the premiere of her new album for anything, especially with as long as it's been & how much she enjoyed making this new music. I think she really is sick & probably feels even worse that she's not able to be there. If there was any way she could make it, I think she'd be there with bells on...

Just make the best of it, and if it turns out that the show at Borgata is still on, and if you can swing the extra time here i do have a few extra tix for borgata and would be happy to give them to you

The girl only knew that the show at The Webster was definitely off on Wednesday. From the PR statement it sounds like it's going to try to be rescheduled so I'm sure we'll find out for sure soon! Crossing my fingers...

This article says she's still on for Ellen May 10, so that's promising for the Indio and Vegas shows:

Stevie Nicks is on the eve of the release of her brand new album, “In Your Dreams,” and instead of making the rounds to promote her acclaimed new record, she’ll be battling the flu in bed.

The 62-year-old, who appeared on “Oprah” last month, was advised by her doctor to “stay in bed and not fly” as she’s currently suffering from pneuomonia and the flu.

She’s had to cancel appearances on the Today Show and Good Day NY, scheduled for the album’s release date on May 3rd, as well as an event hosted by her label Reprise Records on May 4th.

"I want to apologize to all my fans and hope that we can reschedule and of course I hope you love the new album. It's for you," Nicks said in a statement.

While we hope she gets better, critics are saying that musically, she’s in rare form. “It's not just her first album in 10 years, it's her finest collection of songs since the Eighties," said Rolling Stone.

Nicks is still scheduled for a performance on “Ellen” for May 10th, which has not yet been cancelled.

The Ellen show is only what 8 days away? She will need to get plenty of rest and take all her med's whatever the Doc has told her to do.

If the Ellen show dosen't canc. these's a pretty good chance she will do the Indio show on the 13th...

Some people keep saying that, but I think that is wayyyy too cynical. Tons of people have to be called. Lots of people have to put in time cancelling things. I'm sure she knows this. I'm sure she has been holding off cancelling anything. This CD is her baby and she is a pretty tough cookie. She is sick.
