i didn't know she lost her daughter. that has to be gut wrenching. never been a fan of hers, but it is sad when people suffer so much. wish she could find some good help and heal.

she lost her daughter in the courts, Kurt's mom got her, because of Courtney's druggieness.

I am sad about Courtney's downward spiral. To me, her behavior screams mental illness and that is sad. I always thought it was so cute just how much she adores Stevie. She never seemed to look at Stevie from a fellow artist's point-of-view, just a true fan.

This got me thinking about how lucky Stevie was to come out of the drug haze and be able to still have a career and her sanity (well, most of the time). Ozzy can barely speak sentences, Keith Richards looks like he is dead, and many of them ended up dead.

Maybe the reason she keeps things SO controlled in her environment is because that is what works for her to stay sober. Most addicts rely on schedules and routines for their recovery. It doesn't matter if she is twenty years sober and addict is always and addict.
