She wrote comments about Stevie's new video and preview:
She is one f*******g goddess thats for sure and she played the garden two weeks ago and she is my friend and I love her and I was too depressed to se her, that sucks s**t I'm V happy Stevie got a proper video, its rare nowadays kids, and she deserves it, and this is a good Stevie song I could grow to love and understand/ I just knew Courtney would be paying attention to Stevie's work |
Poor Courtney. I wish she would grow up. :distress:

my uncle was her lawyer after she went ape**** on a flight. Classy girl.

Addiction is a bitch folks. Lets be glad Stevie beat hers or we wouldn't have IRD ! When i was clinically depressed, Stevie was the ONLY thing that made getting up better. Too bad she didn't go to see her, she would have felt better ! Poor girl. :distress:

I really feel for Courtney, even though its hard to see that she STILL has not pulled it all together ((sad indeed)). I was rooting for her during the mid to late 90's when she pull herself up & did a complete makeover. I really enjoyed Celebrity Skin and her acting around this time, it's too bad it was fleeting- and her relationship with her daughter is tragic:distress:. I saw a glimmer of hope when she reunited with her former Hole bandmates for the Hit So Hard screening in New York late March. It would be great to see that incarnation of Hole record again.
Anyway, I wonder if Courtney & Stevie are in contact sometimes? Stevie has mentioned beating her addictions in recent interviews, saying thank god she's sober and does not have to wake up everyday to that challenge, but add's that she puts some friends around her through rehab, and checks in on their recovery. It makes me wonder if Stevie has reached out or reciprocated support towards Courtney emotionally behind the scenes from time to time. |
Hole's last album Nobody's Daughter was really good, u guys should listen to it.
|
Oh yeah, Nobody's Daughter is awesome! I wish it would've done better, that must've been a blow to Courtney's fragile ego.

seeing compassion for another person on this thread is so uplifting. can't tell you how little of that i've seen in life lately. i almost didn't read this because i'm not into hole/love music, but glad i did.

i llove courtney
she's always given Stevie respect and admiration and i think it speaks well of her to take time to acknowledge Stevie's new work, regardless of what might have transpired between them. props to CL!

Coutrney is really depressed. She lost her daughter. Nobody's Daughter flopped, eventhough it was excellent. She is trying to stay off drugs and fight her back, but the reality of what has happened over the last 10 years is making her want to do them again. She is lost. She fought her way to the top and then sorta threw it away because she didn't know what to do when she when got there. She really has realide on drugs to help her get through pain, and she is trying not to do that anymore. However, she can't hide from reality and its not pretty.

I think one the most classic moments on film of Courtney was at the MTV Music Awards in the 90's. The part with Madonna! I felt bad for her & I love Madge but she did act a little snotty. Sometimes Madge has let her fame go to her head!
