Good news!! Secret Love must have gotten a push from the Oprah Show. The track was stalling but is beginning to move back up the AC chart.

I can see that being the case.

I hope people are calling the RIGHT radio stations & not the ones that play P Diddy, BEP, Rhianna, Chris Brown, Usher & ect...

I voted. The confirmation codes are a pain in the a..... Don't understand the need for it and why they are so hard to read sometimes.

Those radio stations request hot lists that show when we're doing this is an absolute indictment on modern society and musical taste. I don't care how old I sound, Ke$ha et al have zero musical talent. But not just the fringe artists, most of them on the lists.. It's truly saddening to read.

All the more reason to vote Mama in, I guess

Good job guys!!!!!!!! I agree, it is definitely a meticulous chore. Just about to start up my next round, after a long day at work. But like you say, it's gotta be done!

Could you imagine Secret Love started playing right between Kesha and Gaga, lol.

tonight I started to plug "Cheaper Then Free" on a forum that I belong to in which caters to mostly if all radio broadcasting professionals.I will do the same for Secret Love.

That's not going to happen. If that's the kind of radio stations you're going for, you're wasting your time.

Try stations that play a mixture of hit's from the 70, 80, 90's & now like The Eagles, Chicago, James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, Journey....

Those formats!

Well, if they're going by requests and getting feedback - then yes we have a great chance.

The way I look at it, is look how well Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" is doing right now - and it's nothing like anything on the radio today.

There's still a very good chance

Even if it doesn't get a lot of airplay from doing this, it will still raise it in the charts.

These stations don't *just* play R&B and hip hop etc. The way they work, is the more votes a song gets-the higher it charts-the more likely it will get airplay. It doesn't matter who it is - it matters how loyal the fanbase is.

Yes, an AC station would be more likely to play a new Stevie song, but that's not going to get it to chart - it's not going to open it up to a new audience.

That Ceelo Green is doing very well with "Forget You" and Adele with "Rolling in the Deep". Secret Love has potential, and it has a chance, as long as the fanbase is enthusiastic about it and not pessemistic.

If you don't agree with me, than fine, but that's no reason for you having to waste your time - and mine - with bringing negative energy to something fans are trying to do in a positive manner. Granted, this is a free board and anyone can post whatever they want - but that's still no reason to be pessimistic about it.

I know what I'm talking about, I know how this works, and I know it may seem farfetched - but it's a lot more realistic than I feel some people around here think it to be.
